Rose was stunned by the Legendary Pokemon, but she also saw this N guy in danger "Styler, power up" Rose called out and engaged her styler, wielding it like a whip and snapping it into the face of the man that was holding N prisoner. She could try to calm the dragon, but that would be a far greater challenge and she couldn't let them abduct this boy.

"Zekrom!"
Memo was so short of breath, his eyes were widened, and was shaking. ******** held Cereza in his pack. All his training and all his experience came in handy. He was able to safely dodge and avoid the debris and electricity with a confident form.
"Baxter!"
On a spin Memo managed to send out one his most powerful and trusted partners, Baxter the Mightyena. The lithe and immensely strong canine whipped with as much experience as Memo. The Mightyena managed to help some of the fresher recruits by countering attacks or transporting them. Memo managed to lock eyes with the young man.
"N."
Memo felt a strong sadness with the boy, they connected.
"Wait!"
He continued to look over the squad.

Maddy was going to release a few of her Pokémon, but she couldn't shake the fact that it wouldn't do anything.
Zinzolin backed up and lost his grip on N as Rose's capture styler nearly whipped him in the face.
N ran forward, putting some distance between himself and his captor. He began to run towards his dragon.
"Zekrom! Stop!"
But it was too late.
The dragon was getting stronger and stronger, now surrounded with a blue shield of electricity. It continued to pulsate with a black aura, larger and larger pieces of debris beginning to rise off the ground. It suddenly released a wave of electricity, releasing enough force to knock Team Aqua off of their feet and to destroy any protective barriers set up. Any body part that happened to come in direct contact with the electricity would find itself paralysed. Maddy was unlucky enough to have her left hand get struck by the electricity. She fell to the ground hard, her left hand burning with pain as the muscles tensed. She couldn't move her wrist or fingers.
"Ugh..."
The dragon was preparing for another attack, still charging. The next attack would be stronger.
"..."
"Zekrom! Please stop!"
The dragon wasn't listening. It's order had been issued and it wasn't going to stop until it was carried out.
N turned towards Team Aqua. "Run! Just get out of here."
Maddy pushed herself to her feet. She looked to N, to her friends, to Zekrom and Team Plasma, to Dark, and then back to her friends.
She sighed, clutching her injured hand to her side. "... We need to retreat." She said, calmly. There was a sad look in her eyes, though; she knew she had been defeated.
She glanced over at Dark and Misery. "Teleport us out of here."

Dark had dropped to his knees due to the electricity. He didn't seem to be in too much pain but he was clearly agitated. Brick was growling now, also a bit dazed for the lightning. "N-no we can do this. I believe in Brick." He growls and gets back on his feet. "A little electricity is nothing, right Brick!?"
He Pokemon lets out a mighty roar, fueled by his trainer's confidence in him.
There's a flash of light and Misery appears, having released herself.
"(Dark Maddy said we have to go!)" She was panicking a bit.
"No, we can do this! We've beaten legendaries before! Stone Edge!"
Brick lets out another roar and flings razor sharp rocks towards Zekrom.
Dark turns to Ghestis and his group.
"I'll show you how strong we are. You're no mach for us Dennis, no matter how many hostages you take."
It was around now that Misery was feeling Maddy's panic in full swing. She knew Dark would be angry at her but she didn't care anymore.
"(We leave NOW!)"
In a flash the entire group is transported back to Maddy's house.

Caleb realized the shields weren't going to work. He quickly scooped up his Fennekin and tried getting back. Then the sound of shattering glass from the barriers his pokemon had put up.
Caleb's Rotom just floated there cackling as the wave of electricity overwhelmed them. Before Caleb could even recall the ghost type, he was knocked off his feet. He smacked his head off something, but couldn't recall what. His eyes went in and out of focus as he did his best to fight off losing consciousness. His legs were paralyzed, making him unable to stand.
"F-uck...." he grunted, trying to move. He heard Maddy faintly telling Dark and his Gardevoir to get them out of there, and struggled to protest. Then the familiar light from teleporting hit him.

Rose had been moving away from Zekrom and was preparing to use her styler like a whip some more when she was teleported away and they appeared back at Maddy's house. Having her back to the others and to Zekrom, she hadn't seem what had happened to the others and she had been lucky enough to not be left temporarily paralyzed "What about that N guy?" Rose asked Maddy. "We can't let them capture him. Those guys...They are so evil. And we must rescue those Pokemon too."

Maddy just stood there, in front of her house, her eyes to the ground.
"I... I..." She seemed completely awestruck. Did she make the right decision? Coumarine City was being destroyed and she had been helpless to save it.
She merely sat down on her lawn and went silent. "..."
She felt like she had failed her comrades. The Legendary Pokémon, Zekrom, had just been too strong, though. What else could she have done? Nothing would've changed if they had died...
The paralysis began to wear off and she balled both of her hands into fists, ripping out patches of grass. Deep down she was disappointed and hurt, but she couldn't show such an emotion. She decided to display her anger instead, muttering curses and going red in the face.
After a few moments, she collected herself and stood up. "They will pay... They will pay."
Taking a smoke out of her pocket, she lit it up and took a drag. She turned to her teammates.
"Go pack your bags. I'll be keeping an eye on that ship. As soon as it sets sail for whatever region they came from, we're following them in the submarine."
With that, walked off, desperate to get some time to herself and clear her head some more.

As the wave of nausea ran its course on Rei's body, he spat on the ground. He did not like N. The boy was a coward, in his eyes. He couldn't even stop what he started; he had no control over the Legendary Pokémon once a command was given.
"I'm gonna walk around the city for a bit. Don't worry too much about me. We should all get some rest, anyways," he said, his thoughts elsewhere. He left the house and walked to Lumoise City's central area, where the distinctive tower stood. He took an elevator to the top floor and went to the walkway, the cool breeze soothing after the day's events.

Memo just sat on his limp leg and attempted to catch his breath. Cereza knew exactly what to do when Memo got panicked like this. She wrapped some dried and treated herb from her body into a thin strip of leaf. The steady Chikorita then poked another ball that let out Callen, the brave and rebellious Talonflame.
"Chiii."
The fire bird gently dried and lit the rolled product barely enough to smoke.
"Thanks."
Memo took his herbal remedy and with a few cracks of his joints, the young man rose and praised hihs Pokemon. He mounted Callen with Cereza on his head. She took off as Memo waved and smiled.
"That guy..."

Maddy was sitting on her back patio, a full ashtray next to her. She was still smoking.
"How will we beat a Legendary Pokémon without another Legendary Pokémon?" She asked herself, out loud.
Before, they had Rayquaza. Last time, they had Xerneas. But this time? Currently, they had nothing.
"What to do..."
She drummed her fingers impatiently against the wood of her patio as she took another long draw from her cigarette.
"..."

Michael walked out onto the back porch of Maddy's house and noticed she was upset. "Hey Captain. Somethin' troublin' you?" Michael then reached into his coat and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and felt around for his lighter. A few seconds later he realized it was not on him. "Oh um Captain, would you mind if I use your lighter? I can't seem to find mine."

"(Don't worry too much about it.)" Misery quips as she appears beside Maddy. "(I'm sure you did the right thing. Even if we somehow won last night we would've taken heavy casualties.)" She smiles and sits down beside Maddy. "(Not only that but I'm pretty sure that that Zekrom Pokemon is this group's trump card. So we already know exactly what they're capable of. I'd even go so far to say we have the advantage now.)" She sure wasn't afraid of dragons, legendaries or not.
