Kelab clentched his jaw, he wanted it too.
Faraday wanted the amulet, but not because of the annoying call it had for her, but because everyone was fighting over it. She wanted to take it away to keep the other from fighting.

"I know, however generally, what you're thinking Faraday" Cassie said hurriedly. "But they," she waved an arm at Ketsueki and Kelab. Her arm waved a bit towards Faraday herself before dropping. "They are causing the problem, not us."

Shay rolled her eyes obviously, "So these vultures can get at it? Right... I'm gonna be doing that soon. Just don't hold your breath." She crossed her arms, not in a defensive way, but in an angry and frustrated way.

Cassie glared, all the drama was giving her a migraine. "Look, our cousin might trust you. But we trust no one but each other and Thorn. I don't see why you're making such a big fuss over us having the amulet. I see no logical reason why YOU need to have it."

Shay nearly lost her temper, which was a difficult thing. "We've been going around this same argument over and over again! I will say this AGAIN, we're not letting it go because we trust no one else with it. What do you not understand?!"

The words were coming more quickly out of Cassie's mouth, a sign that she was becoming more and more agitated. "I think it'd be better not to let you go crazy. I don't see the need to give you the chance." She tilted her head to the side and waited for it to all stop.
