I used to be a huge fan of Sonic, but it wained away. Still, he definitely seems like a character that's fun to play with. I hope his speed doesn't make him fall off the edge too much though. ********. WOOT!
Really though, I don't get peope who are against character inclusions, considering that Sakurai can make anyone have an awesome moveset and make anyone look fun to play with.
We've gotten two new character updates in quite a short amount of timespan. I hope that Ridley gets confirmed soon. heart

They've only said that it's delayed in Japan.
The US got the Wii and TP before Japan, so why not Smash Bros?

Teh AK They've only said that it's delayed in Japan.
The US got the Wii and TP before Japan, so why not Smash Bros? That is my reason for thinking we will still get it.

Ridley is a Boss I take it from a thread full of hundreds of metroid fanboys, Ridley has a pretty damn good chance since Metroid needs more representation and I think Ridley is definitely next in line. A variation of him like Meta or Omega is likely a boss though.

I still don't see him as being playable. Ironically I just turned Melee on, and saw that. I still don't see it though. Don't get me wrong I would definitely love to see it cause it would be really different, but that is more or less my main reason for seeing it not happening.

Now that Sonic is confirmed to be in Brawl, every single fan worldwide will go either...
"EBBEH." or "WOAH."
Not that suprising, considering that Sonic was destined for Smash fame sooner or later anyway...

I know a lot of people who "couldn't see Sonic in Brawl." It's not really a valid arguement.
Besides, this is a game where Pikachu and Solid Snake can team up. It's not really supposed to make sense to the mind's eye.
