She shook her head lightly, watching him out of the corner of her eye. "Hmm, it was only a story tell, then the prince would ride in and save the woman in trouble." Rose snorted soflty under her breath, "Fairy tells are for children."
Her eyes widdened slightly in shock of him refusing the money. "I understand, that money cannot bring those people back, I'm only asking for time before you decided to take out your revenge.", she said quietly to him, her dark eyes watching him curiously as he came closer to her. She stood tall and didn't back down when got close to her. Rose's tail flickered slightly behind her, the tip bristling out slightly as her ears perked up once again. One good reason.... She sighed quietly, thinking to herself, that there might not be a good reason for it, that he'd see fit or justified. So, she said the first few things that came to mind, "Do you want to get the true killer? Or waste your time by killing an innocent man, and letting the true killer run lose to do as he pleases? I know if you let me have this chance, to get to the bottom of the truth, the true killer could kill once again. Either way, there's a significant chance that the real killer will kill once again. I know Kassastsu, and though you don't know me, you'll have to take my word on it that he is not a killer. You want a way to keep yourself informed on what I find out? Take me with you, we could hunt together. Or we could plan meetings to met up somewhere and share information and help one another out." Finally letting out the last bit that had came to mind, she bit down on her lip slightly, her word was the only thing she had left to offer him. Unless she offered him, her own life, which wouldn't help out Katsu or Sylvr in the least bit, if she was wrong and ended up dieing for some wrong cause. Naito was still pacing back and forth between the two adults, slowly moving closer to Rose with each passing.

Bale stood there and listened at Rose's words. He was honestly amazed at how much she wanted him to wait and find out the truth. He remembered telling himself he would never be tricked, well this was a chance that gave him that possible proof to show his mother that he wont be tricked. He trusted her words and believes her. On the Kassatsu note, he couldn't tell honestly, but he was willing to gamble just a bit to find out.
"Well, I agree to your request for this job and as information gathering...."
Bale thought hard about this. He didn't want to set up a time and meeting place so easily where something could happen and not find out till last moment of it happening. He shook his head and with that looked back at her.
"Right, we'll work together than. I'm a hunter by sence but with possible skills you have I could finish jobs faster and gather more information at the same time for both our sakes."
Bale turned around and walked back over to his things and dug through them some what. He was looking for anything that would give him a way to help her in his hunts in key ways.
"Ah, found it."
He had found a training head band back from his days with his mother, learning how to fight and such. It bared his crest that he wears on his guns. The crest was a type of sign saying that he was a some what known hunter and had certain rights among villages and cities while looking for his target. With this Rose would be able to not be seen as a normal person but a hunter under him and so she would be given rights to information if not share in bounty's or rewards from hunts.
"Put this one anywhere you please, with this you should be able to work with me smoother and not be held back in anything that comes across, for both our sakes."
Than he noticed the panther again, and looked back inside and grabbed something from a small sack in it. He pulled it out and than tossed it infront of the panther.
"sorry but i dont have anything to mark you as a fellow hunter but I'm sure we could find a means later for that, but for now could you settle for a bit of salted meat?"
Bale stood up and reached out with the bandana to her.

Rose was watching him curiously, wondering if he would agree to it or not. Her tail flickered around behind her nervously as she watched and waited, nibbling on her bottom lip once again. "I will find out what's going on," she thought to herself as she waited.
Finally, he started to agree to it. Relief flooded her face as a smile gently tugged at her lips. She squatted down, gently stroking Naito, trying to calm her friend and to let her know that it was safe for Rose now. Rose tilted her head, her ears twitching slightly, picking up sounds around them as he turned his back on her. "Alright, I'll do that.", she agreed. "Am I to say, that I'm your partner? Or will no questions be asked when someone sees it?" She stepped around Naito and reached out, taking the head band from his hands. She quickly folded it up and held out her left arm so she could tie it around her upper arm. This way it was visible and people would see it, and she wouldn't worry about it getting in her way anywhere else. Rose fumbled around trying to tie it with only one hand and was having problems doing so. She looked up at Bale, shrugging in embressment. "Mind giving me a hand, please?", she asked him, watching him throw a sack of meat to Naito. The big cat looked at him curiously then looked at Rose, who nodded to her that it was safe. The big cat grabbed the bag and moved off into the shadows more, where she could watch and be ready incase she had to move fast, but where she could enjoy her snack at the same time.

Bale walked over and gave her a hand with the thing, tieing it gently around her arm. He than looked over to where the panther was. He didn't mind the sudden hide one self while not showing any pleasure in what they were haveing but he was hoping for a thanks from the big cat.
"Your welcome you know."
He than walked back over and packed his things a bit, keep things some what clean.
"Partner, eh sure why not. I could use an actual voice to do the talking probly, I dont say much really on my jobs if not at all. This is the only time you'll probly hear me speak so much."
He than sat back down and layed against the tree, he was tired and felt like he needed a rest real fast before setting out to sell the damn monsters head. He than kicked some dirt into the fire some what to dim it again and relaxed watching it a bit.
"If you want to rest go ahead, cause after this, its a walk to a few places and alot of movement after that."
He than crossed his arms and did his best to get comfy.

Rose noted where his eyes was going towards, and nodded. "She'll be fine, wait a bit, if she enjoys the meat, she might warm up a bit to you and allow you to pet her.", she said, looking into the direction of Naito.
She smirked slightly, at his comment. "I was going to thank you, if you give me the chance. I can tell though, your the type that rather knock a door in, shoot then ask questions later, am I right?", she chuckled softly at him, watching him gently comfortable against the tree.
"Oh, boy, your the strong silent type. Don't worry, I'm use to that, Katsu's like that... Kassatsu though talked a bit more to us, and was always willing to help out and to do anything that needed to be done, if he could...." She sighed quietly, picking at her locket once again, it was a silver locket in the shape of a heart, with a lily imprinted on the front. She shook her head, moving to her back and unstrapping her bedroll. Rose shook it out, then placed it where she could watch the stars. "I'll be fine, I've been walking almost nonstop these last few years, I'm use to it..."

Bale made a small laugh to afew of her words.
"I was talking to the panther sweaty. And as for the big and quiet type....i rather just say I have enough on my mind to speak nothing of it.'
He rested abit more and listened to her words. Than nearly passed out from replying back, litterly.
"should always rest when you can, or you'll loose strength faster. And as for the big cat, mean panther, sorry....tired, but as for your friend, thats better, I can simply wait as long as he she whatever wants. Mean no disrespect on what everI just.....said....to......kitty."
Passes right out.

Rose snickered lightly, watching as his eyes started to droop down and his speech came out slower and more stuttered. She shook her head, waiting to make sure he was sound asleep, hearing his soft and steady snores she was sure of it. She moved off her bedroll and moved to were Naito Okami had ran to. "Come my friend, I need you to help me find someone..." Though Rose was tired herself, she had to at least spend an hour, looking and searching for Kassatsu.
She had moved deeper into the woods, well over a half hour had passed, and she was growing more tired by the passing moment. Bale was right, she did need sleep. She sighed quietly, tilting her head back, looking to the stars. She knew that Bale had not followed her, she made sure and that sh ewas far enough away not to wake him or for him to hear her. "Kassatsu! If you're here, you better get your a** infront of me, right now!!", she yelled out, turning in a tight circle, searching and looking. She looked to Naito, waiting to see if the cat would notice anything.

silence wanted to run through the forest that night but it was broken from the loudness of one person. Though unable to ignore it a person planning to leave this area turned around hearing it.
"Any louder and you would had had Katsu hear it from where ever he is."
Kassatsu smiled in his ussual style, shades and all. Standing behind her not to far.
"Evening Mistress Rose, long time."

Sighing softly, she was about to leave, when she heard Naito growling softly beside her. She nodded quietly to herself, hearing him speaking. "So you've heard, too then?", she asked him as she slowly turned around to face him. She slowly ran a hand through her long hair as she watched him, studying him carefully. She didn't believe what Bale had told her, but she wasn't sure, if this was the real Kassastu or not though. "There's some nasty stores going about with your name tied on them. Something about a village being burned to the ground, not a man, woman, or child survied it. I'm sure you got a large bounty on your head." She tilted her head, carefully watching him, wanting to see his eyes, but she didn't make a move to take them off of him. She didn't say if she believed them or not, waiting to see what he'd say in reply to her first. Rose glanced down at Naito, watching her out of the corner of her eye, wondering what the cat would sense.

Kassatsu smiled at her and kept himself still, watching the two and letting out a sigh.
"Honestly Rose, its true."
Kassatsu stood there and looked at Rose.
"Last I saw you, you were smiling and spending time with Katsu back at the church castle. I miss those days, I still remember your childs birth, that was....well not for me a sight but one to smile about."
Kassatsu took a single step than turned to face the otherway.
"Mind you with this one, he is everything you think and hiding more than he even knows. He's not lieing yet not telling the truth."

Rose was starting to smile at Kassatsu, but his statement felt like he had just backhanded her. The smile was slowly replaced with a frown as she stared at him in shock and confusion. "Wh..what? Why would you do that?! Those were innocent people, mind you not all might of been, but the most part of them were."
His next sentance was confusing her more, why was he bringing up the past? Or was he trying to tell her something? "That's the past, Kassatsu. Things have happened, to cause me to smile less and to become more of a b***h. Though, you brought your sight up first...", she said as she took a step towards him, he had turned away from her by now though. She grabbed his shoulder and attempted to spin him around. She was trying to be gently enoughnot to hurt him, but she wanted him to know she was being firm and serious. If he turned around, she'd reach up with her other hand to grab his glasses and take them off.
As she was trying to look at his eyes, he said something else that confused her even more. "Stop with the bullshit riddles, you know I'm not one of those. Tell me flat out what you're trying to tell me. I know he's hiding something, but I don't care. If it's his past, then so be it. Not everyone has a squeaky clean past." Naito moved closer to Rose, trying to watch what what Kassatsu would do more closely.

Kassatsu could care less to be shoved or pushed any directions, or for his shades to appear off. He just smiled.
"Mistress Rose I merely bring up the past to speak how its a warm feeling to see you, cant I be happy with that? Or the mere fact of my actions I just said make you hate me that much, mind the p***y cat though I doubt it will like me oh that much."
Kassatsu tapped his cane on the ground just a bit to give a white spark from the bottom of it off as a warning.

Rose took his glasses off with her right hand, holding them in her hand. She stared at the glasses for a long moment then turned her head to look back up at him. Her dark brown eyes tried to met his own grey eyes. She let out a soft gasp, noting the change. "When..how?", she asked him quietly, she was glad he was able to see once again, but at what price did he pay? "I don't know if I could ever hate you, dear brother, though I can strongly dislike you.", she answered him truthfully and honestly. "Why? Why did you do it? Did you ever think, I could of been there, or your nephew? God forbid Katsu was there!?", Rose was having problems keeping her voice calm and controlled. She looked at his cane, watching the spark. "Oh, that's nice, do some more pallor tricks, by all means.", she snapped at him, though Naito did hiss and moved to stand on the other side of Rose. Rose was actting so harsh towards him, mostly out of hurt and suprise at his actions. She knew people could change, and angels did fall, but how far could one fall?

Kassatsu watched her and with a smooth action and with a faint feel as if wind blew past, Kassatsu had dipped Rose a bit looking at her with a smile.
"Do I look at all like your Katsu, my dear brother?"
He than lifted her back up and walked past her holding now his shades in his hands, able to slight of hand them from her without knowing.
"And porller tricks are nothing simple, though you wouldn't believe how much of a trick it was to see myself in the mere back in the church castle. It happened when meeting an aquaintance of Katsu's. He merely heard my words of how I started to hate my problem and in a flash he fixed it. I once again viewed life. I could see my family once again. I saw everything as clear as day....even the village and there actions they showed when I walked through the village. As for a price.....there are prices for such a wonder as sight, I would gladly pay the price of what I was given for it.'
Kassatsu turned around and standing there, the moon gave a faint image of a black serpant surounding his body all over.

She gasped audioibly as he grabbed her and had dipped her downwards, speaking to her. "You once had some of his features, but now... I don't see it at all.", she said honestly, tears were starting to feel her eyes from pain at seeing him like this. She noted how he took the glasses back from her with such ease.
"An old friend of Katsu's?", she murmured to herself, trying to firgure out who that would of been. Shaking her head slightly, she stared at him, almost glaring. "Would you have even cared, if I was caught in that?", she asked him, wanting only an honest answer, no matter how much it would bother or hurt her. She kept her back to him, if he was to turn and look, peeking out of the edge of her shirt, there was a tattoo of angelic wings across her lower back, and on her rightshoulder blade, was another tattoo, this one with a dragon wrapped around a rose. "What was the price? To kill innocent people, so you could be happy? Those people had families, Kassastu. It'd be like someone killing me or Katsu just so they could be happy. Wouldn't that hurt you, and make you upset? Or do you even care anymore?", asked him as she quickly turned on her heel. SHe took another step closer to him, her hand twitched slightly as she wanted to reach out and smack him for his actions, she was slightly afraid of what he would do to her though. She tried to keep the emotions out of her face or voice, but she knew fear and hurt was making her voice tremble as a tear slowly leaked out of her eye and rolled down her cheek.
