Last of Us is the perfect current example. While it does have multiplayer, it has an intense, rich, and engaging story. The story pulls you in, and you experience emotions beyond anger and frustration at campers and snipers. At several points, I was enthralled by an event of that game, and it wasn't the graphics, the other players, or even some other technical issue. It was a deep story that made me cringe when a person was hurt, or tear up when a pivotal moment arrived. By far, I want more games with this level of detail and craft put into the story!!!

I hold gameplay as king above story, but that's something on which we agree to disagree.

Normally the Christmas season heightens my mood for a while, but this one isn't starting very well for me. This could indicate a very negative December.
So, enjoy your Thanksgiving?

Believe me, i know. Unfortunately, working in the service industry means weekends are to be dreaded, not anticipated.

Ouch, I remember 12 hour shifts at McDonald's; those left me so drained.

Indeed, this week was particularly difficult. We had a special online, any pizzas ordered online or via the app were half off. The orders we had were insane. On saturday night, I had more orders than I had ever done in a single day before, and made more money in tips than in my career. Still, it was a difficult week that I am not sorry to see end.
