Zahara lay there, teh Sphinx's words digging in deep and cutting her again and again. Was it true? Look what she'd done just before meeting up with the one who tried to take her life...massacred a worm. That worm would have killed her but it didn't take all of that to get rid of the threat. Why had she done it? Becasue she'd been upset. She lay there, the dead Sphinx covering her body, her fangs still latched into Zahara's arms and her blood running and mingling with teh Sphinx's. She hadn't really changed had she? No, she hadn't. She was still Drow, she was still a b***h and she always would be. She'd always be cruel...it was an unchangeable part of her nature.

Her eye twitched as the familiar tingling sensation of telepathic communication went off in her head. Hm..twitching...that couldn't be good. But she shood her head lightly, still sitting cross legged on the bed, just not tryign to kill it now. See, they're not all that bad and useless. Well that made her feel better...if anyoen could find Zahara it was those two...they loved her to death. Though she frowned at the mention of said cleric. First it was the prodding, poking, pulling and pushing I had to endure and then the wonderful news of guess what, I won't be using my bow accurately for a while. So now I am more sore than before and I've been told to lay off my bow...those are what got him backhanded...and if he ever touches me again I'm slicing his arm off and beating him with it... Sarcasm, fun. Oh no, she wasn't a happy elf at all. Hm...how much more hacking could the bed take? Her mood was certinally foul, what with the chaos of the last few hours and her parents' impending departure.

The two imps approacked Zahara with a tad bit of cation, seeoing as how she wasn't getting up from udner the mess and maybe she didn't want to be disturbed.
"Star Flower? Why are you covered in blood and guts?" All quite literal.
"We came to find you."
"Malik wanted us too..."
"But we only did it because we like you..."
"And here you are!"
"Bloody,"
"Gutty,"
"But still pretty."
Warren stumbled down the stairs as best he could, legs shaking, and very tired when he reached the bottom. He sat at the small table and rested his head on his arms, breathing har. "Okay...I'm...here..." he was still rather hungry, even if he did feel like sleeping.
Moonstone patted Kat's head. "Well, I won't leave you alone, okay? I'll stay here with you until you feel better."

You really got to get over this issue with clerics. they are there to heal and to help. same as some human 'doctors' or clerics. And I know your in a bad mood. anything that can be done to lighten it?
Malik's eyes scanned the area, back and forth looking for any signs of movement, a flash of metal, a wisp of fabric. anything that might give away the location of potential enemies, or if this wa some kind of setup trap she'd planned assuming he'd be sent to look for her while Piper dealt with mom and dad.

She narrowed her eyes even though he couldn't see it. Then tossing her dagger to the matress she flopped back on it, staring up at the ceiling with a sigh. You know I don't like being touched...I just don't. I wouldn't let a human doctor touch me any more than I would let any other cleric. Simple as that. I took care of myself perfectly well for thirty years without one. Stubborn now about it. She'd gone and done it like he told her too, wasn't that enough? Piper had always been like that, more so since her little incident that lead to her ear. She let few people touch her at all really. And bad mood is probably not an accurate description. Anyway you put me there with your own. Add in a few other irritants like clerics and travel plans and it just grows. But she sighed again...telepahtic conversation...she hadn't had one of those in a while. I don't know...I don't even have a craving for cinnamon..., the usual mood fixer. Seemed she was in an odd rut of sorts. Stress maybe.

Yes I know, but sometimes it's good for you. and I know, mom and dad leaving soon is probably goign badly for you, but we have that trade route and such set up and you know as well as I do Kieran is not going to stay away long. really how often can he mess around in the underdark in the home a Drow.
No craving for cinnamon? that was a bad mood. that was a really bad mood.

You have your point. Malik had his point indeed...nothing could keep Kieran away and Fianna would visit as well, and eventually she would build a bit of tolerance for the Underdark, just like Piper had. Meanwhile she had flipped onto her stomach, lying on the bed. What were those? Oh lord...there were notches in the headboard. That could mean a number of things...like it was previous hers way of keeping track of who she bedded and conqured...or it could be Malik's own keeping track of something. Eh, those would need to be sanded out. Locked in our room now, earlier I was killing the bedpost with my dagger. Might as well fess up to it, and yes after Kieran had left she had indeed locked the door.

Eliot hurridly out a ho tbowl of stew, a chunck of cheese and of bread, a glass of water and a glass of ale on the table before Warren. She had recently just learned abotu ale and wasn't sure if Warren liked it or not, so she compensated and put both ale and water on the table. She nibbled on a pice of raw spider meat, it really wasn't to bad. "So, Warren, do you remember what happened?" the thought had not occured to her till now.
Kat smiled and sighed in relief. "Thank you." She glanced away a moment, looking for some wood, she needed something to do with her hands, she felt she was goign to freak out again. "What happened? What were those things?"

Warren took two bites of stew, and was chewing on a piece of bread before Eliot asked that question. His chewing slowed, and he swlallowed. "Alot happened." He guzzled down the ale, half of the mug in one gulp. That question had set off a bunch of very unpleasant memories. "Bode had to...watch what they did."
Moonstone watched as she got restless, but didn't know why. "They were udnerworld beasts. I don't know much about them, we'de have to ask Malik,. or Zahara. they would most likely know."

Zahara heard two familiar voices and moaned in pain. She had been sliced and diced as far as she was concerned and she opened her eyes. "Juan? Jell?" She hissed when pain lit into her side when she tried to move. "Lolth that freaking hurts..." It really sucked. Could she even trust herself around these two? When would she turn on them...when would she try and hurt them or when would they try and hurt her. She couldn't change, it was inherent in her nature. She felt the fangs still embedded in her arm and she groaned. Finally she reached over and yanked her arm out, more blood, more pain but she didn't even really care anymore. At this point it hurt but at least someone knew where she was.

Eliot's face softened further, if her ears where out, they would have wilted. She reached a hand out to Warren's, "I'm sorry Warren, I didn't wmant to bring up bad memories. You don't have to say anything if you don't want to." She wondered what the ale would do to Warren's weak body, Aella had said it could change people somehow, she didn't really understand.
Kat started figeting with the blanket. She really needed something, anything to do. Thats what she did, all the time she had to be doing something unless she was meditating, and right now she knew she wouldn't be able to meditate. She looked around for some wood, aome paper and a pencil, to bad she'd left her sketch book in her room. She was goign to resort to another piercing soon because that's all she had in her pockets. "the underworld?" Her voice was gettign high piched, "what does that mean? Is that bad?"

jaun and Jell moved over and started removing the gore. "Star Flower? Why are you under this stuff? While it smells moste peculiar,"
"And that is really interesting,"
"It does not seem that one your calliber would allow onself to be covered in such a scent."
Jaun stretched out her arm, covered in blood, and actually started licking the wounds liken a dog. Jell patted her head. "Are you hurt? We can phase you back to the fortress, if you want."
Moonstone blinked. "The udnerowld, the underfoot, the udnerdark, the blackness, it's all the same thing. Here, in this place, in Labyrinth. They are all creatures I know nothing of. I am from the surface world. He looked at her with concern. "Do you need me to get you something?"
Warren nodded his head. "I would really rather not." He could remeber his capture, his torture, Bode watching him, and he couldn't help...the ale made his head spin, and he took another swig. It was making him feel very odd, and he'd never drank much before. "It wasss awfl."

Kat was breathing hard, she balled up her fists and pushed them into her stomach to try and still them. "I need..." she took a few breaths, "something to do with my hands!", She had tears in her eyes. What did her mother call it? A complex she had said. Thats why she was so good to have around her mom said, Because she always had someoen to help, even if Kat didn't like the work she did it. Her hands where now twisting and braiding hre hair continuously. "I want to cream...." She whipsered to no one.
Eliot wasn't sure if she should, but she filled Warren's glass. "I'm sure it was awful Warren. You don't have to talk about it. just eat your food, and then you can get some rest." reached over and flipped his bangs out of his eyes. "Its okay." She said.

Moosntone picked up his tail, and put it in her hands. "There, hold on to that for a sec." Gently, he reached under her and picked her up, her bruned side facinf outwards, and cradled her against his chest. "It's all right. You don't need to scream. How about I take you outside, we'll go to the forest out back, find some wood for you or sometihng. And I can look for soem aloe at the same time, okay?"
Warren kept drinking down what Eliot poured for him. "They had all these things set up for me, adn then they TOOK things from he." He growled a bit, his words slurring, head drooping, and he couldn't seem to sit up straight. He was constantly moving. He loked at Eliot, his eyelids rather droopy. "Yer purdy."

Kat almost seized Moonstones tail, it felt so good to be against moonstone's chest the it almost calmed her immediatly, but she kept holding his tail, ocassionaly stroking it, or bending it a little, but mostly she just hugged it to her own chest, it kept her hands from wantign to spaz out on her. she nodded her head. "Some wood sounds like a good idea.
Eliot was about to respond when her eyes flew open. Did he just give her a complement? She wasn't sure, he was acting really funny. But it felt kinda good to here that from Warren. She started taking away the mug of ale. "Maybe you've had enough of this, maybe you shoudl go back upstares? hmm? Get some sleep? You can teel me I'm pretty another time." She walked over to his arm and attempted to lift him off the chair.
