Kellindel Binatica You misunderstand the tier system. It's based on a character's abilities and skills, not the RP style of its owner. Regardless of how good the RPers are, a human character is a low-tier character and a demigod is high-tier. I'm not going to break the divisions down because the scale varies from person to person, as each RPer's "top-tier" is pretty much what they consider to be the fair limit of a character's power, beyond which the character would be broken to the point of undefeatability. All planar mages are high-tier due to the strength of the ability set (how well the planar mage's owner plays is irrelevant) and properties of the attacks. I could care less about style. I speak of roleplaying ability. Rating characters like that serves no purpose. Every character should be able to beat every other character. Precisely. To claim otherwise would basically be saying that God-Modding is Okie-Dokie and I can cheat my way to the 256K grand prize by saying my character is an Angel and I can call upon thee the wrath of the TRUE god and all his sons and daughters, smiting thou in a most unpleasant way. See my point?

Kimimaro Kaguya 777 Psionics can be over-written with Electro-magnetism. But oh well... I won't get into this argument.
Nobody cares Ryu.

If you're not partaking of an event but have nothing better to do the least you can do is offer your warm body to judge the thing, because in some events there is just too much going on for the creator(s).

"I want to become a judge." Just screams? Oh well. [Leaves for a while.]

Shouyin XShilonX In other words- The Tier system is BS, because all that matters in a RolePlay is the skill of the Writer ANYWAY. You know what's BS?
EVERYTHING WE TALK ABOUT IN THIS ******** THREAD. That was rather unneccesary, not to mention untrue. xD

Well everyone isn't fit to judge. Whether or not they are should be determined by those running the event.

Chun Li has always been high tier in street fighter games. You beating her with another character depends on how good you are as a player. However.. if you are playing someone on equal skill level as you.. The chances of you winning are drastically reduced.

Kellindel Well then the person choosing the judge must be reliable as well. I don't think anyone would have a problem with Kraun either being or picking a judge since he's that kind of person. You fail at getting my point.
Sure Kraun is a good guy, and people trust him. But in any case, people can say "This guy's your friend/in your guild/dating your ex-girlfriend! I can't trust him and everything he's saying is biased towards you and all your buds!", as per the HoH situation.
Even if somebody wrote up a program that would judge RP fights entirely fair, someone else would say the programmer gave it a bias towards this or that. There is no such thing as a non-biased judge or a non-biased opinion, and people will always complain. My Last Damn Post So it never works, but people just need to shut up and accept the person at the top, what with them controlling your fate and all.

You know, I'd always wonder what would happen in a fight between an athiest in an angel/demon/any supernatural being. Would the athiest denial of anything supernatural have any ability to negate the supernatural abilities of the supernatural?

As the angel being present is immediate proof of a supernatural being's existence.

Well everyone isn't fit to judge. Whether or not they are should be determined by those running the event. Which is why I said only offer up your warm body to judge, ultimately it is still the creator(s) choose to let someone judge or not. Why not actually attack my point instead of debating something I never talked about.
