MISSION- Night Raid on Devon
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Devon Corporation and steal 50 PokeNAVs. But you must not be seen be anyone. Beware there are 10 guards in the building. You must enter the building. Then make your way to level 3 were the PokeNAVs are. But get them quickly and return back. All the PokeNAVs are in one box.
Pokemon you may run into on the mission (you may only run into one):
Zigzagoon
Voltorb
Duskull
Funds upon completion: 1000

I lounged around the aqua base, idly listening to other members' conversations. I perked up when I heard someone talking about a raid on the Devon Corporation, and instantly volunteered for the mission, quickly receiving it. "So it is a raid," I said to myself. "They don't call me Shadow for nothing."
After I biked to Rustboro, I noticed that it was not dark enough to attempt the raid yet, so I looked at the building, noting all the crevices and other hand or footholds of the weathered building. Noticing a open window on the first floor, I thought,"There's a good entrance. I could get in and not have to worry about the security system on the door." It was if they knew about my arrival and were making it as easy as possible for me!
It was still a while before nightfall, so I decided to let my pokemon out. In a flash of red light, a mudkip and nincada came out. Nincada hopped onto Mudkip's back, and Mudkip ran around trying to dislodge Nincada. Finally Mudkip rolled onto its back and together they scuffled in the grass. I glanced up at the now fast approaching sheet of darkness. The raid would start soon.
Around midnight, I called my two pokemon into their pokeballs, walked over to the window and peeked in. "perfect," I thought. "most of them are half asleep." I quickly clambered in through the window. As soon as I had jumped in, a voltorb appeared out of nowhere."alright!" I whispered, not daring to raise my voice. "A pokemon battle!" I drew a pokeball. "Go! Nincada!"
"Nincada, harden!" I said, before the voltorb could attack. Nincada used harden, raising its defense.
After I was done with my move, the voltorb rolled into Nincada with a tackle attack, but only doing half the damage.
"Nincada took five damage, voltorb took none," I thought. "Attack with fury swipes!" I said to nincada. I watched as Nincada raked the voltorb with its claws over and over again. Finally Nincada stopped, and the voltorb let out a high pitched screech to lower Nincada's defense.
"Nincada took none," I thought."voltorb took thirteen!" I then ordered Nincada to use leech life, absorbing some of voltorb's hit points. Nincada regained two hit points, also doing four damage to voltorb. "Great," I said aloud. "The voltorb only has about 10 hit points left! Keep going Nincada, attack with fury swipes!" Nincada then attacked Voltorb, doing nine damage. Voltorb decided to use spark, dealing a hard twelve damage to Nincada. I flinched as if I had been hit myself. Nincada only had 10 hit points left!
"Nincada, fury swipes one more time!" I told it, grinning in satisfaction when I saw the voltorb fall to the ground, fainted. I walked further into the building. Looking around, I saw two guards at the stairs and one asleep at the desk. The brutes near the stairs looked like they where both half asleep. I quickly recalled Nincada and raced up the stairs past them, stopping to listen. I smiled in satisfaction as I saw them turn and collide, each knocking the other to the ground. I knew they wouldn't be getting up for a while. I walked up the stairs and onto the next floor.
I immediately heard snoring. Turning around, I saw who was making the noise- a guard, fast asleep. There were two others, both wide awake. I silently muttered to myself. Tip-toeing across the room, I slid across the floor until I was on the opposite side of the room, with them right across from me. I tapped my foot on the ground, and they started towards where I was. I sprinted across to the other side of the room while the guards were checking out the "noise."
Upon entering the third floor, I noticed that there were four guards instead of three. I looked more closely. They were all sleeping except for one. That one, though, was positioned right in front of the pokeNavs! It looked like I would have to battle him. But before I could even take a step, a zigzagoon appeared out of nowhere. "Another battle," I thought to myself. I pulled out a pokeball and let mudkip loose.
"Mudkip, use water gun!" I said, and it released a small but powerful blast of water, doing the zigzagoon eight damage. The zigzagoon countered with headbutt, dealing Mudkip six damage.
"Try a mud-slap attack,"I called to it. Mudkip then shot a bit of mud at the zigzagoon, dealing five damage to it and lowering its speed slightly. The zigzagoon staggered, then regained its feet. It quickly ran towards Mudkip, knocking the water pokemon off its feet with a tackle attack that did six damage. " thirteen hit points left on the zigzagoon," I mused. "Mudkip, tackle it back!" I commanded.
Mudkip responded quickly and did six damage. The zigzagoon used headbutt, doing seven damage, leaving Mudkip with only eight hit points left!
"Hang on Mudkip, I hope this works!" I called, throwing an empty pokeball at the zigzagoon. I waited tensely. One, two, three shakes! "Alright!" I said, recalling mudkip into his pokeball. After resting a few minutes, I darted closer to the guard near the pokeNavs. He was awake- or so I had thought.
Upon approaching him, I noticed he was wearing blackglasses, and was sort of leaning over to one side. "What an odd position to be watching in," I thought. Then
it dawned on me: he was asleep on his feet! I snickered at the fact that all the guards were either asleep or easily fooled! I rummaged around, setting boxes aside carefully. I soon found a box labeled PokeNavs. "Jackpot!" I hissed, carefully picking it up. I looked out a window and noticed dawn approaching. I had to get out- and fast. I carefully but quickly picked my way out of the building, glad that it was finally time to go to headquarters. "I'll need a good rest after that," I said, pulling out mudkip's pokeball and letting him walk with me. With the raid finally over, we finally started back.

Pass, beautiful first mission. If you could take away talking about the damage and just simply have the damage, it would've been better. And you could've been a bit stealthier, but great job. I enjoyed reading this. You get a rank-up, 1000PD and the Zigzagoon.

Me: If we go after them, Magma grows uber, if we finish off Magma, Galaxy get's uber. I highly doubt that the entire Magma operation was shutdown Dark, and I don't them to redouble their efforts. *Sips some Coke* Dark thinks for a moment.
