[Joe: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
Joe whipped around, facing the person who grabbed him with a fist raised to hurt, but he faultered at Kyle's eyes. Maybe it was seeing those circuits again, after what happened before, that made Joe feel so...uneasy. But as the three times were shoved into his hands, he wasn't really given much time to think about it before Kyle blasted away as fast as he had come.
Joe tossed the healing times to someone that might have needed them most, before consuming his own potion and ether. After all, he was running fast, but it was also almost gone again. He could practically feel his body straining to keep moving, almost. And as he used the items, he sighed as his body seemed to slow down a bit, but didn't feel like he was going to pass out from a rock to the face.
Of course, by the time that was finished, he was looking back at Kyle, and watching more light weave through his body. Why did he also not seem to like the idea of this? It seemed...risky. But that could be the past talking...he just...wasn't sure. Which seemed to frustrate him more.

[Anthony ~.~ Black Pearl ~.~ Below Deck]
"You know," Anthony began as he got back onto his feet, hoping they could walk and talk as they search for some grub. "it felt much longer than it actually was." The young man turned his head and seemed to be staring off into the distance, straight into the eyes of the person reading this post at this very moment, breaking the fourth wall. He frowned (sorta like Grumpy Cat) and shook his head, then turned his attention back to James.
"I'll explain everything on the way to the galley." He made his way to the door, hoping James would be right behind him, and began to explain how everything had played out since the corsair's abduction. He explained to him how Ajora turned him into a puppet, everything pre, during, and post the battle in Hawaii, and everything up until the last battle on the Pearl's deck.
At that time they had already reached the galley and Anthony continued to explain everything that had happened as he opened cabinets in search of some food. "And that's about it," he said, gathering whatever questionable ingredients he could find and laying them out on the table. "Now we embark on a new adventure!" He grabbed a dusty, blackened jar and holds it up beside his face. 'The 'Guess What This Is: The Chronicles of James and Anthony.'"

[Axel: Atlantis: Throne Room]
“Hey man- don’t do anything too crazy- I’ll never hear the end of it. ” The nobody replied and jumped back from the gate- he knew when to move and this kid was going to do something whether or not his allies liked it or not. The consumption of light was getting more intense if that was even possible- already this guy was dishing out a powerhouse of attacks and abilities that put Ansem to shame! Where ALL these earthlings capable of this?! Good grief how would Joe look like if he did something like that- or sweet innocent looking Noelle? He didn’t have time to imagine as it looked like Kyle was about to fire- again- on the door, only this time he wasn't just using his weapon, no that was gone, and he was drawing upon something that coursed through every vein in his body.
“…Kyle..? Seriously…” Leon was going to kick his a** if one of these guys died on his watch. Not that he cared- right?

[[??? : ??? : ???]] [[Cue: Kainé~Piano by by Keigo Hoashi]] The woman next the fireplace shifted her head slightly, turning to look at the girl who struggled desperately in her semi-conscious state to move but to no avail. As the woman's head came to a slow, elegant halt, the brilliant white hair glittering as it shifted in front of her face, floating down lightly as thought in water, she stood and moved across the room to her side as though floating. "She wishes to leave," she spoke to the air. "She can't. Not like this. I need more time.""You intend to keep her here? Against her will?""No... but her wounds are serious. Should I risk returning her to a battlefield in this state?""Her friends will-""Her 'friends' would do nothing but make things worse! They care only about themselves! It's their fault she ended up like this in the first place! Do not expect me to put her in their hands.""Whether you trust them or not doesn't matter. She wants to go back. She'll fight you if she has to.""I know that.""Then what will you do?""Do what I can here for now... then return her to the only person there I know will do what has to be done to protect her until she's back on her feet."------------ [[??? : Atlantis : Inside Bobbi]] "Miss me," the voice from the shadows of the archer's mind echoed, the voice sounding somewhat fatigued, "I could explain my absence, but that would require time, which we don't have..." "Try not to do anything foolish," there was an odd pressure on Bobbi's back right before a portal opened up for a split second behind the archer, tendrils shooting out, wrapping around her body and mouth before yanking her in without a sound. As fast as it appeared, it was gone, along with the young woman... and among the rest of the hectic events and brightly glowing members of the group, hopefully unnoticed. ----------- [[??? : ??? : ???]] A whirlwind of black spun throughout the small cobblestone room, tugging at the curtains and sheets, making a gorgeous, brilliant sound with the glass and crystal decorations about the room. The woman stood unphased beside the bed, staring down as the darkness flowed though the girl. Already she could see the difference. The raw wounds were closing, the girl's mana bolstered, but at an obvious cost. Painful looking black bruises formed under the skin where the wounds healed and no doubt nightmares filled Kyla's dreams as darkness overflowed from her body, spilling out onto the sheets, staining them like blood before dripping to the floor and seeping through the cracks so quickly as though it were absorbed by a sponge or pulled down through suction. The darkness stilled as the last scratch filled in with black and blue flesh. In that moment the girl sat up, darkness spreading from her chest out down to her fingertips and toes. She turned her body before opening her eyes, pitch black. She stood, her feet caressing the floor with shadow, warping the stone with each step. She touched the wall and without hesitation, walked through it like thin air and vanished. ----------- [[??? : Atlantis : Inside Bobbi]] The archer felt a healthy push forward as she stumbled out of a portal elsewhere in the city, not too far from the battlefield. Before the archer was an unconscious body of the pictomancer, comfortably leaned against the wall, fully clothed with no apparent injuries, "Take care of her."

[ Kyle : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room ]{ Cue : Administrator } As Kyle remained there, hovering in the air, his circuits and veins shining flaring for all to see, he couldn't help but shiver--and simultaneously, the very air around him did the same. It was around that time that Bobbi was pulled into a corridor, and though he couldn't react, Kyle tensed with concern. Was she okay? Was there a second enemy? He couldn't do anything, the chain reaction had been started, and if there was something else to worry about, then it was all the more important to finish Ajora now.
When the light filling his veins returned to the center of his chest, a single, audible heartbeat was heard by all those in the area--and a glowing image of a heart, no bigger than a basketball, appeared directly in front of him in shimmering gold. It was about that time that more Light spread from Kyle's core--much more. From his chest, his armor and clothing began to disintegrate, revealing that the glowing spot wasn't simply shining through him. With every moment, with every inch of lost clothing, it became clear that Kyle's physical body was being taken by the Light. As more was consumed, the lines of the heart symbol began to twist and move, contorting and spiraling into a single, spinning circle at the center.
The light from his chest began to spread down his limbs, and in moments his arms and legs were just hovering energy, maintaining a general shape of a human. The light finally crept up his neck, around his chin, over his face, taking his hair... and then he was gone. All that remained of Kyle was a humanoid-shaped coalescence of Light, its eyes burning like violet suns. Though he was nothing but immaculate white energy, it was not blinding to look at him--only into his eyes.
At that point, the spiraling circle hovering in front of him ceased, now nothing more than a solid golden circle, and from it sprouted various small points; it had become the symbol of a star. Immediately after that, two wings spread from its sides--and Kyle's rocket-like wings were suddenly consumed by the appearance of two massive white wings, each without any detail, just like himself. Then the symbol's two wings multiplied, spreading up and down--light, surrounded by six wings, and on cue, Kyle's two wings split as well, making six wings in all, emulating Ultima.
At that point, Kyle reached forward with his hands and touched the back of the Seraphic Light symbol. It pulsed with energy upon contact, and everyone in the group, including Bobbi and Kyla, wherever they were nearby, felt a tug at their heart, followed by warmth and invigoration.
"Bobbi's safe nearby, and Kyla's with her," he spoke through the charms to Joe, though his searing gaze remained focused on the door before him. Kyle began to fill the symbol with energy, causing a thin stream of Light to start spinning around it in a circular motion. However, the revolving ray began to grow bolder with each passing second...
Too slow.
The violet novas that were his eyes dimmed and vanished for a moment, as if he were closing his eyes. They reopened moments later, and a faint, ethereal chuckle resonated around him.
Everything about Kyle tensed, and the spinning circle began to grow faster at an exponential rate; simultaneously, faint white dust began to flow from Kyle into the seal, specifically from the tips of his legs and the tips of his wings. That's when his "body" began to slowly unravel from the edges, giving over the energy of his form to the spell. It would take a short while, but within a few seconds already, the six wings were measurably shorter and his feet had been lost.[[ Sadly, Axel is by default not included in the "heart tugging" stuff. Also, it's late, so the music's the most fitting I could find this tired, and I probably won't bother changing it. ]] [[ Drive Finisher Limit Initiated: Angel of Retribution : Heir of Light (It's under his limits) ]]

[Kyla: ???>Atlantis: ???>Adjacent to battle field]
( Dreams )
‘Where did you go?’
“I’m here-! I’m right here!”
How much farther did she have to run. So many voices, all too far away- she had to hurry!
‘Where are you?! Kyla! Kyla? Help! Help me! Help me!!’
“Where are you?! I can’t see you! Don’t worry I’m coming! I’m almost there! Hang on!”
Try as she might, no matter how fast she ran, the voice never got any closer. The black foggy shadows swirled and obscured everything. The farther she ran, the more her body began to ache. Why did her back hurt so much? It made no sense- why can’t she catch up?!
“Help me! Help me!!! HELP ME!!! KYLA WHERE ARE YOU?!!”
Suddenly, she was there, there was no more running, the person was right there, out of the fog standing with their face facing her. It was so sudden that she caught up she nearly ran into them but instead stumbled and gasped for breath.
“…Kyla.” There was no more shouting for her this time.
“Its ok I’m here n-“
“-??!!“
Gone- no! Behind!
“!!!!” cutting right through from the middle. Long blackened sharp blade, cutting up from where her heart longer beat in her chest.
‘…this is your OWN DOIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNG!!!!!’
All faded to black.
'...I'll NEVEr forgive you! !'
------------- [ Reality]
Kyla’s eyes almost snapped open. She jolted from the wall but quickly fell bac against it, eyes fluttering closed. As she struggled to find her focus the world was still all a blurr. Faintly she could something, someone standing tall in front of her. As the plane of vision tilted back and forth, with each blink her vision mercifully began to get clearer. Why did her body ache again? What happened?

[ Noelle ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Noelle threw her arms over her face a second too late as Kyle's attack on the barrier emitted a blinding flash. She swore under her breath, blinking as retina burn left spots of blue in her vision. It seemed the battle was cooling down for a short time, allowing them respite until the seal was broken. The blonde watched Kyle in concern as her vision recovered, feeling she should say something, tell him that he didn't have to do it all himself. However, the speed at which things were progressing left her speechless and feeling useless. The only thing that could break her eyes from Kyle's actions was a fluctuation in the Darkness around them. She glanced around but couldn't find the cause--it was gone as soon as it had caught her attention. When her eyes returned to Kyle her heart skipped a beat.
What . . . what's going on, he's . . . Titan, what-- 'I don't know, Human, I don't know his magic. But with how long he's held out in this apparent drive with Ultima . . . it doesn't look good.' 'What?! I have to stop him, then! He doesn't have to do this alone, god damnit!
Noelle took off running toward Kyle, seeing more of him disappearing every second. The earth shifted beneath her feet, propelling her forward at a high speed and aiding her jump at him as she neared. Her intention was to take him down, stop him somehow, but she never could have expected that it was already too late. Noelle anticipated the contact of his waist with her shoulder, but never felt it. She never felt anything. Her body passed right through his, sending her flying onto the ground in front of him. For a second she laid there dumbfounded, pushing herself up onto her elbows and staring at the ground. With a frantic push she turned over and stared up at Kyle. He would be able to see fear in her eyes.
"What are you doing?! What's happening, stop!" She shouted at him, heart pounding as she fought off the tears in her eyes.
. . . Why can't I help him?

[Dawn : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room]
Dawn stared at everything around her. The battle was finished, Bobbi was now gone. She looked up at Kyle and now he appeared to be fading. He said that Bobbi and Kyla were both okay. Where exactly was Kyla? What happened to Kyle? How did everything here turn into such a mess.
"Will someone please tell me what the hell happened here? I come here when you guys are in chaos." Dawn said her voice shaking in her confusion.

{Bobbi .:. Atlantis .:. Just off the battlefield}
Bobbi had barely registered what Kyle was up to before she heard a voice in her head. It didn't give her much time to respond before she was pulled through a portal and deposited a ways off. She looked around a moment, trying to figure out where she was, but her attention was caught by the figure lying on the ground a few feet from her.
"Kyla!" the Archer breathed, immediately dropping to her knees beside her friend and gathering her into her arms. She checked Kyla for a pulse, found it steady, and checked to make sure Kyla was otherwise alright. She looked like she'd been through hell, but otherwise appeared unharmed. Nothing was bleeding, anyway, and Bobbi had no idea how to tell if bones were broken.
As soon as Bobbi had satisfied herself that Kyla was okay, she felt something pulling her back towards the battlefield, and looked up in the direction of the tug. Despite the renewed vigor that came with that pull, Bobbi didn't like it at all.
"Dammit. Dammit, dammit, dammit."
She looked back down at the unconscious Pictomancer in her arms, and bit her lip. She didn't have potions or ethers or anything; she'd used them all up already. Well, it's not like she'd never hauled someone unconscious around before. She pulled one of Kyla's arms over her shoulder, braced the Pictomancer against her side, and heaved them both to their feet.
"C'mon, Kyla, let's see how far we can walk," she said, though she didn't expect a response. "Noelle can probably whip up something to bring you 'round again." Bobbi began her slow progression back towards the battlefield, one step at a time, keeping her grip on Kyla firm so the Pictomancer didn't fall. Kyla didn't seem to be semi-conscious enough to help out the way the last person Bobbi had hauled around had, but she made the best of it. As she walked, Bobbi tried to figure out the logistics behind getting Kyla on her back so she could piggy-back the girl, but she couldn't figure it out, and resigned herself to zombie-walking.

[Kyla: Atlantis: Just off the battle field]
A tug inside her heart drew the girls eyes open even more, and with every slight shuffle on wards she could feel her surroundings coming back to her. ' who is that?..... ....Kyle?'
There was a familiar voice at her side, a warm from them and within ebbing her closer and closer towards reality. At last she was left blinking almost in confusion, and tilting her head to look at the one dragging her. “B-…bobbi?”
So it was Bobbi who found her- and how did she get back? Was what happened all a dream? No. “Bobbi.”
The sounds of battle came closer and closer to them. Kyla said the girls name again as if clarifying she wasn’t some illusion, or worse… Along with Kyla’s return to consciousness, the archer in question would feel as if the weight had suddenly been taken off her shoulder. Though she held Kyla still, the weight associated with her from was absent- or at least extremely reduced. This wasn’t the first time a sense of weightlessness occurred when Kyla was lifted or carrying in one way or another. It all had to do with her mana being boosted again, and of course, being the vessel of Carbuncle. Consequently, her summon wanted ot help out in any way it could even if just something small like this.

[ Kyle ; Riku : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room ]{ Cue : Esper } Kyle tensed as he felt Noelle slip through him, partially disrupting his energy flow. It was minuscule, however, and her concern easily outweighed any frustration he might have felt. As most of his wings and everything below his knees had been converted into dust, a constant charge flowing into the growing circle in front of him, he glanced down toward her, and despite a lack of facial features of any kind, she might have felt him faintly smile. His voice, however, came out distorted and other-worldly.
He turned back toward the seal, his eyes flaring brighter and hotter. As he continued to charge the intricate spell weave, he felt a change.
Riku had remained silent for most of the scene. It wasn't necessarily on purpose, it was simply that he couldn't think of anything to say--so he watched, half in intrigue, half in melancholy.
He had taken on the spare medicines Joe gave out, simply as back-up, but now that he'd heard word of Kyla and Bobbi, he nodded toward the group and dashed off in their direction, seeing them coming up the path. Hopefully, one of the geomancers would be able to speed the passage up.By this point, his wings were gone, his legs had vanished, and the spiralling circle of light was easily double his original size, growing more and more. As a result, however, the crimson door seal was beginning to spark with Darkness, reacting to the weave, causing the air around them to vibrate at a low, unsettling pitch.
Kyle didn't waver. More and more of him disintegrated and expanded the Light. His abdomen, his shoulders, his chest, his arms--they all vanished faster than the rest; and then, even his face began to disappear... but not without one final, air-rippling snarl that could be heard city-round.

Kyle was gone. The brilliantly gleaming circle of golden magic was now equal in size to the dark seal covering the door, which was now sparking and trembling violently as the Light spun and spun, weaving itself in a constant, unfathomably fast circle.[[ Though they're still at a distance, I'm fairly certain all of this would have been at least visible to Kyla and Bobbi, since they're at most a couple city-sized blocks away. Incidentally, for that same reason, if Kyle/Noelle (whichever acted first) would have started moving them with earth almost immediately after being asked, they would have gotten there I think... shortly before the chest? I dunno, the timing is weird, have a little fun with it, I guess, whatever you'd like xD ]]

{James : Black Pearl : Below Deck}
James let out a sigh as Anthony said that he would explain what all he had missed on their way to the galley. Getting out of the hammock he had been lying in had been the last thing on the corsair's mind at the time. However, it seemed Anthony was determined to get something to eat. With a bit of difficulty the corsair swung his legs out of the hammock and got to his feet to follow the brawler.
He remained mostly silent as they made their way to the galley, Anthony basically talking non-stop as he explained everything that had happened since he had fallen under Ajora's control. He couldn't help the look of surprise that appeared on his face as his companion mentioned that Michelle had returned. He couldn't help but wonder where she was right now? Had she gone below with the others? Or was she simply somewhere else on the ship? He didn't really have the time to ask the question though as Anthony didn't stop explaining even as they entered the galley.
'I'm kind of glad I didn't get involved with the fight in Hawaii... I never really cared for the Power Rangers that much. Though to control a mecha wolf probably would have been pretty cool. Like the the Shadow Fox or a Command Wolf,' he thought, envisioning himself within the Zoid and firing the cannon. The corsair couldn't help but chuckle lightly as he thought he felt Fenrir roll his eyes within his mind.
The corsair sat down at one of the tables in the galley as the brawler explored the cabinets searching for stuff to eat. He had missed plenty as he had anticipated, but not so much that it was an overwhelming amount of knowledge.
"So you said that Michelle came back to the group? Where is she right now?" he asked as Anthony made his way over to the table holding a few different jars and laying them out on the table.
He laughed lightly as Anthony described their new "adventure", his eyes scanning the jar he held warily before turning his focus to the other jars. The lunar gunner tentatively reached for one of the other jars and popped open the lid on it. He reached into it and pulled out a strip of what he recognized as dried meat. He anticipated that most of the things that they would find would be food that could either be dried with lots of salt or a brine. He was sure there would be plenty of stuff that he wasn't going to like.
"I have no idea what that is, but I know what this is. It's jerky... or their equivalent of it," he stated as he stuck the hard strip of beef in his mouth and began to suck on it, the taste of the meat hard to find under all of the salt. "Fair warning, I hope you like salty food."

[ Noelle ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Noelle couldn't fight off the tears as she watched her comrade, her friend, disappear before her. She couldn't know what was happening to him, but felt in her heart he might not be coming back from this. And she couldn't stop him, she couldn't help him. As he mentioned Kyla and Bobbi she struggled to pay attention. The agromancer didn't want to tear her eyes from him, but he wanted her to do something and in her fear of what was to happen to him she wasn't going to argue. Quickly she ran her arm over her eyes to wipe them and stood. Riku was already on his way, but she would beat him there. Within seconds she had slid past him, her feet propelled by the earth beneath them.
"Don't move." The girl ordered as she stopped abruptly in front of the others. Noelle grabbed a hold of both their collars to keep them stable, only giving Kyla a brief weary and tear-filled glance. She would deal with her later.
The earth suddenly shifted below them and slid them to Riku which she also picked up and returned to the group with haste. As they moved she could hear Kyle's cry, her heart skipping a beat. They couldn't get there faster, she wanted to turn and look but couldn't. Once they came to a halt Noelle held the girls until they were stable. As soon as she was sure, she turned back to look at the spot in the air where Kyle had been. By that time he was already gone. All she could see was the spell he'd given himself to spiraling in the air. Her knees shook as her shoulders hung low.
. . . Why?

{Dani : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room}
Dani remained silent through the chaos as she was brought to the group. She only did what she assumed was best: defeat the tiny heartless that was messing with the group that was fighting Chaos. Despite what had happened earlier, she cut and pierced the heartless so that near her there was nothing left.
When Dani refocused on the group, she had noticed that she must have really been out of it. There were blinding lights everywhere and several of her comrades were injured. Lights were flying all over the place that Dani had to cover her eyes multiple times and noticed that their leader had suddenly disappeared. 'I guess sacrifices need to be made.' Dani noted before looking over to the rest of the group again.
Dani finally gained the courage to walk over to the rest of the group and looked at both Bobbi and Kyla. Right when she was going to say something her courage changed into cowardice and looked down. 'I can't say anything to them, how could I.' Dani thought before noticing Noelle looking at the door where Kyle had vanished.
From Dani's position she could see that Noelle was not in the best of moods and wanted to try and comfort her. Dani reached out with her hand to pat Noelle on the back but stopped short when she remembered that they were not on the best of terms. Right as Dani retracted her arm she finally looked down at the mark on the arm that she reached with. At that moment she remembered the mark that Ashley gave her and quickly covered it with her other hand. 'I need to keep this to myself,' Dani sighed before looking away 'I don't want them to worry about me. They are dealing with their own problems.'

[Anthony ~.~ Black Pearl ~.~ Galley]
Anthony popped open his own jar and found s'more dried meat. He pulled a stick of jerky out of the pile and stuck half in his mouth and began to suck on it. The taste of salt and meat swirled into one flavor as it rushed over his tongue and down his throat. He paused for a moment, concentrating on the taste of what could be expired jerky from early 18th center, then shrugged and continued to suck. "This ain't that bad," he finally said.
The knight grabbed yet another jar. "Michelle?" he said while trying to pop open the lid to the new jar, which proved to be more difficult than he was expecting. "Stupid jar...," he murmured. "I have no idea," continued the brawler as he tried to open the jar. He began to bash the jar against the table, hoping it would loosen the lid. "The last time I saw Michelle was back at Shipwreck Cove," he shouted over the bashing sound.
He gave the lid another try and it popped right off. "Success!" He pour the contents out into his palm. "Oh, beans..." he said, staring at a handful of dried beans. "Now I'ma need something to boil these in..."
