Let me put it this way... I want a challenge. In order to have a challenge you guys have to do something thats not strategic suicide.
Your force has been smashed, if you want to survived as a viable force you'll want to play this like a real guerilla force. If you concentrate again on one or two planets you'll sign your death warrant, spread out so the Imperials can't nail your entire force at once.
Small cells of 4-40 men on thousands of worlds are your baseline, then you have a smattering of starships doing commerce raiding and hit and run attacks. How the hell is the Sith Empire going to counter you when you're scattered and fighting on a thousand different worlds. They can't and thats how you'll win.

So back off or make a potential GLF character that would not serve the assests of your other characters. If I am wrong in saying this, please inform me anyone.

I can see your points. Now, if he can come up with a g'd plausible means of the characters knowing these things, then there's no reason for me not to allow it.
See, wherever Paul goes, Shinn will be there, because o' the tracking thingy dooder he managed to put on the ship. That's plausible.
stellar: I assume yourself and Paul managed to work out and agree to what data you did and didn't confiscate? Let's say that you go on a goose chase, managing to recover what looks to be a juicy tidbit, only to get there, and learn that the info is out of date, with the prize base now a deserted derelect.

Actually the data I was after is nothing like that... Typical security percautions mean the use of codenames for bases so that isn't what I was after. Most of the data was stuff like internal procedures, requestion papers, deployment orders, alternative plans of action, you know stuff thats absolutely worthless except to an intelligence analyst who makes a repot thats completely ignored anyway.
Paul the Wolf's AI wouldn't even have a chance to wipe anything with Kusei plugged in, the problem is that even then most of the information is useless because I made sure your characters had information compartmentalized with security percautions nine ways from Coruscant.
Nope, my character was after something much more sinister, and something most people would never think off. Accounts recievable and accounts payable for the base. No one ever thinks to use accounting!

Also the databanks your in wouldn't hold that sort of stuff.

Well, well, well. Another group discussion, eh? All so interesting. And here I thought everyone was going to do their own thing for a while.

Des Voh Sure they do, all such accounts would have been done in secrecy. The GLF isn't filled with idiots. Certainly the world isn't either. There are some things that simply can't be made completely secret because of the nature of the banking system, my mother is an accountant... I know how the system works. Bank account numbers are required for direct wire exchange, this is especially true of recievables. I'm not saying it isn't encrypted mind you, it certainly is. But an encryption can be broken, and most security experts have a nasty habit of using really low end encryptions for that sort of data. CW Thus, gleaning knowledge from Freya's Bespin-sized piggy bank. Yep, this is how Kusei is going to pursue you, following the money trail. You take a stop to pick up a snack and swipe your bank card and Imperial Intelligence sources within the Banking System flag the transaction and where it took place and forward it to Kusei, pretty standard stuff actually.

So is Kusei after the same thing that Koth is going for? The Starsinger fortune? Although I imagine that Kusei has a more legit reason than Koth does for wanting that information.

Not exactly, Kusei is using the fortune as a means of tracking down Kreya... nothing more.
Of course later on the Empire may decide to freeze those assets. exclaim

Of course I have faith that my plucky Bothan will be able to overcome such a miniscule problem as Imperial security. mrgreen
