I think there's only a few places where we hit a 3 point margin. Once in the first round with a single judge, and then maybe elsewhere, but I'm too lazy to check.
All I know was, we were generally consistent with one another on team scores. It was usually in the same range you just stated, but a couple of times there would be one judge who had a bigger variance.
I think anything where the judges vary by 3 or more points without good reason is inconsistent. I can understand varying up to two points in some cases, and three in maybe some really extreme ones where dominance never came into play, but that should be rare.

I think what really matters is that people know what a 2, or 3, or 4 means... rather than just saying "5, I don't see anything wrong" or "3 all around, you guys were pretty even". More of a sliding scale between "below the level of what we expect out of our participants", "what we expect out of our participants", and "immaculate". Less of this: Judge Two 4.5 - 4 I would give Anson a 5 but I don't want it to turn into another "5 all around" thing.

Or nevermind anything you read here previously. I apparently misread the scoring of our fight.
I would like to know why one judge thought I had no strategy going into the match, though.

It does make you wonder why the results in a given category vary so much at times, but I suppose it goes to show that different people look at things in different ways.

Grisaang Duskwing Can I just get a set of comments on my fight, please? I don't really care who from. I'd appreciate more than just one person's comments, if at all possible. Please and thanks. Also, congratulations to Adaire for her victory. I just want to know now why I received such low points for my roleplaying quality. Dude, you won. xd

If you'll note my edit, I realized that shortly after posting. Sorry. xD
MerDef, thanks for the fight, and it was a good run. You had me real worried. I'm sorry for the conflicts we had, but in the end, good fight.
I still would like to see the comments. =O

Best be ready. I'm bringing the Fury! And the Pain! And the Fear. ...And the Sorrow.
And ultimately the End.
Maybe the Joy.

If he can keep his showboating gun-twirling and engravings that offer no tactical advantage whatsoever at home, then yes.

I'm rather frustrated that it seems that no torunament judge has any concept of meta gaming and why it is bad. I just got my comments, and one of the big annoying ones was this: "Doesn't he know how a tessen works?" Regardless of whether I do or not (I don't), my character obviously doesn't, so me roleplaying it as if he does is entirely cheating. Stuff like this irks me, a player who tries to play his character, well, to character.

They probably mean you, not your character.
Which means they think you did something without understanding the underlying mechanics, which doesn't have to do with metagaming, so much as knowing what the ******** is going on.
