74. Picture Well, the guy wrote a journal telling us to ask questions, so I asked "Joseph Did you fall from the cute heavens and hit every planet on the way when you were just a baby?" He drew a picture of his oc having crashed into a planet, which results in him getting flattened. Why I am sharing it was because the artist's imagination and creativity is superior to my own. I was surprised he did that as the answer instead of what I thought he was going to do. You should read the description too.

When did the anime/cartoon actually air? I only ever saw it as a kid.
Why a Catholic Byzantium? That's practically blasphemous what with them being the heart of Orthodox Christianity.

The anime was shown in the early 90's and ended at around the late 90's.
Sailor Moon Crystal (which is basically a remake of the anime which is more in-tune with the manga) started showing at around July last year and would most likely end in July this year.
Well, I had found this weird method:
1. Do the whole "mend the Schism" part.
2. Once most of the Catholic vassals become Orthodox, convert to Catholic.
3. Form the Roman Empire.
4. Because of the religious conversion, the Schism had been mended AND the player can then make Crusades happen. It's kind of a win-win.
Alternatively, Byzantium can also convert to Miaphysite or Nestorian.
I was kinda curious last night, so I looked around. After some looking around, I found that method.

Ah, that's why I barely remember it.
You must definitely be playing a mod because you couldn't convert as Orthodox and those other Christian religions didn't exist in-game. The only way to go from Orthodox to Catholic in the vanilla game was to move your capital to a Catholic province and either go bankrupt or succumb to rebels.

I'm not playing as a mod in CK2 since I don't have that game. I just found that method from a CK2 wiki walkthrough on restoring the Roman Empire and from looking around some sites. That method is the weirdest one I found. Personally, I do think that it's a very weird challenge in-game.
As for EU3 biggrin W, I'm thinking of making an event chain similar to the Christian Pater one but for Malaya. Since Malaya isn't a daimyo, it's going to be more difficult for me to encode it.
*is watching live-action Sailor Moon*
This feels more like a TV drama. I like it.

Oh, I thought you were talking about that method for EU. Yeah, you can easily convert to Catholicism in CK2. You just need a Catholic tutor for your children, although your subjects will hate you for it.

If a Catholic Roman Empire with having done Mend the Schism before as Byzantium can call for Crusades, then it's going to be a very deadly force against the Caliphs. 3nodding
Is it me, or is Malaya powerful in EU3/EU4?

Well if it nabbed enough territory to form the Roman Empire, I think it could cause some serious damage regardless of religion. razz
Well Malaya doesn't exist in EUIV's timeframe, although you can form it. Ayutthaya, which is in the general area, does seem to do fairly well though.
