LabTechMK The military doesn't 'fix' people. Wake you up to the world around you? Damn sure. Actually change who you are? That's only something you can do on your own. ~MK they can straighten me out. they can give me absolute order. I need someone to yell at me and train me to be an actual adult, not just a legal adult. i can only do soo much before this stupid adhd and manic depression breaks in. I think who i am is already good, i just need someone to show me what i am doing wrong, what i do that makes me forget that i am around others when i say crude things or make me pay attention to things as simple as the first page of a thread. I am confident that the military can do this for me.

Heh, they'll beat attention to detail right into you. I'll admit, some of who I had been was refined by my time in the service. But in my case at least, the psychological damage outweighed the rest. Each experience is unique to a degree, however, so who knows.

I just dont want to be some low life screw up no more. i am heading down a path that leads to homelessness or jail time and I can do soo much better. I need the service. I need to give back to my country and need to do it for me, so i can be a better person, a better citizen, and a better Mel.

I went down the homeless path -after- the military.

i am thinking about going for the whole 20+ years. i dont feel i am fit for public living. i am just weird.
but how did you become homeless and what did you do to get out of it?

I'm waiting to hear back on my disability appeal. Things have been tight, and the economy, she blows.

i am trying for ssi, also. and i am technically homeless since the bank seized my house.

I'm in a hotel at the moment. Moved out of my apartment, and don't have a new one to move into yet. Everything is in storage save for Vault and a handful of necessities.
I was denied the first time, such is my appeal. I've multiple conditions that are supposed to be automatic grants. However, since the military caused them, they are obviously reluctant to actually admitting to having to support my arse for what they did.

geez thats tough. so your hotel hopping till you get the cash and find a place?
I wish you luck, i bet you will win though. they can't deny injury when there is proof of injury.

In the extreme least, which would have to involve the military incinerating all of my medical records from 4 different sources, I have an MRI saved to disc that completely displays Scoliosis and Degenerative Disc Disease.

XD the judge has to freaking be in your favor. It would be a gov. conspiracy if he doesn't.
The proof is in your possession, boss.
So are you looking for another apartment already or just waiting to win the case?

Can't wait, hotels be to expensive to live out of. I'm on a waiting list for government housing. Which reminds me I need to check my place on it again soon as I can.

sweet, hope the waits not to long. i been waiting for ssi for almost two years, supposedly my dad made it difficult for me to get it somehow. my mom is a liar though and she told me this so idk what to believe.
