WELL INUS, I'M GLAD YOU ASKED.
I catalog insects for a living. I also check out east indian chicks for a living. I also fantasize about suicide for a living. Well, no, technically I'm not paid to do anything of those things but I DO.
Right now my job is ( seasonal ) to dump flat after flat of raspberries into a hopper. I do this for about... 10+ hours a day, every day. It's really ******** gay because it isn't heavy enough to be a workout and it requires NO THOUGHT AT ALL.
So today I was on machine #1, which sounds cool... but no. It's hell. The hopper rummages all the s**t out of the berries on that machine and then THROWS IT AT YOUR FACE.
Aside from general hell though, the bugs. I've seen all manner of creatures... today was unique in two ways. First time seeing a caterpillar ( at work ) and... A ******** FROG. A ******** frog. Man, that dude was badass. First time getting one of those in a raspberry flat, but oh boy it was exciting.
I don't know if they have frogs in India because my coworkers were freaking the ******** out like the thing was a tarantula from hell. Together me and one of the wise ladies managed to catch it and let it go outside, because one dude thought he had to step on it... because he was scared to touch it and all "********. Allow me to DESCRIBE THE BUGS.
At my work we get covered in bugs. Varying degrees of bugs. There are the itty bitty green bugs. You generally catch them on you, look at them, and say "d'awww it's an itty bitty bug" and then you squish it. The long gross little bugs, which you just squish. The inchworms, which you brush off with an UGHHHTOMATOWORM. There's earwigs where it's like "Dude, you can't be on my shoulder. Sorry. *Flick*" and of course SPIDERS ( of all kinds ) which are usually jus a mad clawing motion to remove.
There's stinkbugs too but I have yet to get them on me.
Given I probably go through like... 600lbs of raspberries a day on my own, it's pretty ******** annoying. But like, 11.50 an hour, which isn't too bad, because I can virtually work as many hours as I want and make like $800 a week.
