Ms Dinah Lance I politely told Furious that he had a lot of nerve to talk saying as his account was made up, so "in character" for him was whatever the hell he wanted. If he can make up a Lantern with the first name of Furious that's a super billionare and basically a Gary Stu, I can have a Dinah that's still with Ollie (in their guild universe anyways, which I barely interact in). Lol. So true... I quit being his Wonder Woman because he expected a series of posts from me constantly. I couldn't keep up with that kind of hard-core schedule. Ms Dinah Lance and he randomly capitalizes words all through his posts for no reason and it drives me batshit insane. rofl You can tell he's also Lord Thor Odinson because of that, which I believe is an account that's not in use right now since marvel rps among them seem to be dead. So you can tell all the Furious worshipers that tell you to sell you items to F-off.

Quote: The Gaian Justice League Of America guild will be suspended while the Gaia DCU World of Flashpoint summer event is in effect. The GJLA guild will still be up and running but we won't officially be the Gaian Justice League Of America. When DC Comics does release "Justice League #1" in September..then the Guild will be reformatted to fit the new release of the comic. We will still have personal role plays with in the guild and we will still have the Greater role plays for our community in the Heroes Of Justice VS. Villains Of Doom guild. During this time, I shall be deleting and moving old threads and preparing the guild to be redesigned and overhauled completely. I ask that during this time that you bear with the changes and also take the time to read up on as much information about the actual DC Comics Flashpoint series, so you can find out what your established DC Comics characters you are portraying are up to. For any one who has an O.C. We will still accommodate your avatar's in this new world, however you will have to adhere to any rules created. Well that's all for now,If you have any questions, please send me a PM. neutral

It amazes me that someone liked "SuperJail" enough to dress as the robot from it.

it says content unavailable crying Really? I should have it open for anyone to view. Sorry. Ms Dinah Lance It amazes me that someone liked "SuperJail" enough to dress as the robot from it. I do find it funny that all the Wardens I saw where all females.(btw: that Tony Stark is a chick as well) The Jailbot I though was a awesome job. Also, the dude with the Cat in the bucket, that's me.

Oh yeah, one of the best parts of the Con, was oddly not anime related.
My Brother and I went to these panels called "Boys at Cons"/"girls at cons" and "Sex at Cons". Which is mainly just a panels about etiquette for possibly hooking up with people at cons. Just simple stuff like "how to talk with girls", "how to find out if they are legal age", "bring condoms" and what not. But there was this one dude, that must have some Princess Fantasy, because he kept bring up some really dumb plan he had that he though would make him seem so romantic and charming to girls, that they would want to hook up with him. This was his plan: 1) Walk up to a girl and look her in the eyes. 2) Take her by her hand and get on one knee 3) say "you are my princess" in Japanese 4) Kiss her hand.
The two guys hosting the panel, had this distant look of "are you on dope dumb a**". This "Princess" guy would not give it up, he though it was really some that he could get him a girl friend, despite everyone in the crowd saying that was a really dumb idea.
So, next at the "Sex at Cons", which was a co-ed panel, Princess Guy had to get a female perspective on his plan. Thank god we had "Metal", the Female host of "Girls at Con", there to give him a answer. She asked him to give her a demonstration on stage. So he got up on stage, was a little embarrassed, but he took Metal's Hand and got on his knee; at which point Metal gabbed his head and came close to kneeing him in the face. She then took the next 5 min to explain on him how creepy he would have looked doing this and how it will not get him a girl friend. So Princess guy had to learn a hard and harsh lesson that he needed. But it didn't end there, Metal spent the rest of the panel using him as her b***h, just so he would know. However, what was really awesome of her, she told him if he stop by where she was working, she was going to help give him the knowledge he needed to talk with girls. If he fallowed her advice, he may end up getting a girls phone number/email by the end of the night.
I didn't fallow up on it, but I do wonder what the results were.

Speaking as a girl... I've been hit on many times. I hate most pick up lines.. all to often they are cheesey and annoying and tell me that you don't see me as human being but as a prize. There's no great secret to getting a girl to like you. Every girl is different. But me personally I like to try getting to know a guy before I date him. If I don't know him then I would like to get to know him and have him get to know me. The best dating advice I could give is to be yourself. If a person can't accept you for who you are then they aren't worth your time.... Of course I'm not on the dating scene any more... I'm happily married to funny goofy guy who loves history and zombies... (seriously my hubby really likes zombies xd )...

Cassandra Sandsmark Speaking as a girl... I've been hit on many times. That's only if they work up the nerve to hit on you. Sometimes they just stare, pining away while you bowl, waiting for another nerd to give them a push...I kid! But it's true, it's better to get to know people at conventions as opposed to outright hitting on them. I tend to ignore 95% of all come-ons because they're either weird, irritating, or sometimes just plain degrading. If you first start talking to ladies like they're people and not pants-removing-obstacle-courses, everyone involved will have a much better time.

Yeah it was so good advice they gave during these panels. Although I didn't spend as much time talking with people at cons outside of taking there photos and such.
I did get to talk with Amy Reeder Hadley (artist of Madam Xanadu, Supergirl, and Batwoman) she was really cool. I was kind of kicking myself, because I didn't know she was going to be there, so I had no idea to bring my Madam Xanadu trade for her to sign.
I did however buy a copy of the comic of "The Last Unicorn" and got Peter S. Beagle to sign it. Although, what was kind of lame, was that it was $10 for the signing, something about the money going to Beagle's court case for the rights of the book. I haven't seen/read any of they Last Unicorn, so I don't know the story behind that. But it was kind of too late for me to back out and say "no I don't want to pay 10 for a autograph." Because I would feel like such an a**. Even more so, since I think Authors should not charge for autographs, I can see a option to donate 5 to the cause, but charging a autograph is some BS.

I am betting that within 1-2 years, some Hollywood studio announces a live-action feature film of Monster High.
