I'd become a judge but since I'm in the tournament, I can't be one. That's a rule I've made for myself.

XShilonX Nawh. He's Mid-Tier. High-Tier don't just Role-Play to win, as he does. I could make a rant about this, but I'm refraining. You misunderstand the tier system. It's based on a character's abilities and skills, not the RP style of its owner. Regardless of how good the RPers are, a human character is a low-tier character and a demigod is high-tier. I'm not going to break the divisions down because the scale varies from person to person, as each RPer's "top-tier" is pretty much what they consider to be the fair limit of a character's power, beyond which the character would be broken to the point of undefeatability. All planar mages are high-tier due to the strength of the ability set (how well the planar mage's owner plays is irrelevant) and properties of the attacks.

Could always offer to help judge in the brackets you aren't a member of.
And, you know you want it.

Goddamnit you hatheads.
In fighting games.. the priority of the character's attacks over other people's determine their tier.
Obviously.. when not dealing with fighting games.. the type of powers determine the character's tier.
Psionics mostly override everyone else's abilities.

I speak of roleplaying ability. Rating characters like that serves no purpose. Every character should be able to beat every other character.

Kellindel Judges should always be impartial and knowledgeable about what they are judging. S'why celebrity judges are stupid. Therefore your judge isn't anonymous, since their skill has been defined.
Unless you mean to take a person you know as reliable, and give them a mule or whatever.
In which case dispute over how trustworthy somebody you can't see would come up. And especially since the person judging would've been picked by you, suspicion would arise over how much you can count on an unbiased opinion.
Basically, you cannot have a judge without people complaining, and every method of selecting one invites suspicion as to bias and how easily they might be persuaded into a different opinion. So it never works, but people just need to shut up and accept the person at the top, what with them controlling your fate and all.

If I were asked I suppose I have nothing better to do. Just working on my art and that places me conveniently in front of my computer.

Kellindel Rating characters like that serves no purpose. Every character should be able to beat every other character. This is unrealistic. Sometimes a fight just isn't fair. And you have to overcome the odds. Most people can't sit around and formulate a strategy within battle. So their strategy is to create a character who can stand up to this other character. So more powerful characters are created over and over again.

Heh @ Crawley.
Psionics can be over-written with Electro-magnetism. But oh well... I won't get into this argument.

So it never works, but people just need to shut up and accept the person at the top, what with them controlling your fate and all. Well then the person choosing the judge must be reliable as well. I don't think anyone would have a problem with Kraun either being or picking a judge since he's that kind of person.
