Sakura_Aiko jenru k despite how much i said i was never going to... i think i want to open up a shop... but i want to do something a little different. i wanna sell custom bases. does that sound stupid? i don't know if anyone would even buy them... but still... people keep asking me to make bases... and i want to help, but i recently found a charity i want to donate to. (gave them all gold i had ... want to give more) would it be selfish of me to open a shop like that? of course not! a non profit shop sounds lovely *hoards her gold*. You're such a good gaian! And your bases are really good too. really? cool. now i just need to think of fair prices.

I'M A LADY!!! THEY MADE ME A LADY!
*spazzes*
I was given my award of arms this weekend by the king and queen at the SCA event. It's kinda the base level award but it's the first one I've ever gotten. So now I can wear a circlet and call myself by the title Lady.
The circlet they gave me is really pretty too. Woven gold, silver, and bronze.
Jenru, going to Minesotta this week. We need to work out where and when to meet up. *so excited*

Actually, almost everyone gets to be a lord or lady eventually. It's kind of a base-level "you're a nifty person!" award. If you participate you'll get an award of arms eventually. The reason it's such a big deal is because it's usually everyone's first award and well, it's special. We make it a big deal and its usually the first time anyone is called up before the king and queen. (I was shaking SO BAD) So yeah. I'm really excited.

Really? The site makes it seem like a bigger deal than that. o-o Well, at least the ones I look at. XD There are so many SCA sites it makes my head want to explode.

I'm going to be there until mid-August. I'm sure we'll have time to meet up. It's kinda funny how many people I've met over the internet... heck, my current roomie I met in a chatroom.
