Shadekit StarClan made me born for a reason, only to bring bright shades of colour everday...to my loved ones.
_________________________________________________________ [Shadekit's eyes filled with joy, as he shuffled closer to his brother to keep himself warm. He then smiled with pride, his chin up high as the kind she-cat complimented his looks.] "Thank you, ma'am! I have my mama's looks!" Shadekit squeaked with joy. "And you look pretty yourself, ma'am!" Shadekit complimented the queen. [His ears then perked up with joy, making himself comfortable. He straightened his back and his tail lashed sideways, ready for the story.]

What would it take for things to be quiet? Quiet, like the snow... And I know this isn't much but, I know I could I could be better...

♪[Swallowkit woke up form her warm pleasant nap, trotting over quickly after blinking sleep from her eyes, she wanted to hear the story too! After hearing Sweetmoon speak of it.] "Oh I wanna hear it too Sweetmoon!" ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃ Find your way into my heart. All stars could be brighter... All hearts could be warmer.... What would it take for things to be quiet? Snowcherry Where has my heart gone.

[He murmured under his breath, ticking off the imaginary she-cats one by one. He looked back down and locked his eyes on Dicefoot. 'Dicefoot.'] "A couple of times." [He said, painting another grin across his muzzle. He drew up to his full height, and kept his gaze firmly on Dicefoot.] "You?" [He asked casually, staring into her pelt. 'Is her fur...' He leaned forward to get a better look, and peered with curiosity. 'Black?'] ________ or die trying.

[She glanced at him, still lying on her back, and flopped over to the other side so her white underbelly was facing away from him. She didn't question why he was staring so intently at her pelt, just merely stared a bit, hoping maybe to absorb some indication of why.]

And white fur...' He thoughts crossed paths as he lightened his gaze.] "Did it go anywhere though? You and him, I mean." [He asked, scooting forward, careful to not scrunch any of his perfectly aligned moss. 'Wouldn't want that to happen. Terrible naughty things would happen if that happened. Indeed. WHERE HAS THE RABBIT GONE?' His mind tittered.]
['Go with the 'Can't Help It' routine.'] "You have wonderful eyes." [He blurted, disguising a smirk into a warm smile.] "Uh..." [Reedwhisker dithered for a second, thinking....' I think I forgot my Rudenberry somewhere...'] "They're illuminating emerald, am I right?" ['Oops, almost forgot.'] "Sorry, I couldn't help myself."

"Well, I was a kit back then, he um...he died, so not really."
[Dicefoot's tail curled a bit as Reedwhisker commented about her eyes.]
"Thank you, Reedwhisker...I don't mind, and I guess in a way they're that kind of shade. I never get much of a good look at them or anything so I wouldn't know."
[Dicefoot mewed, pinning her ears back slightly as she returned his smile.]
What a sweet cat.

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart's ears perked up with shock as she picked up a familiar scent.] "Spadestripe...?" she whispered to herself. [Her green eyes widened and shimmered with joy as she finally got the strong scent of Spadestripe, and two other kits.] "Spadestripe!" Pebbleheart yowled loud enough for everyone to hear. [Without hesitation, she followed the scent with great speed, noticing the orange figure in the distance.] "Spadestripe! Your back!" Pebbleheart said in joy. [She skidded to a stop as she faced the she-cat with such a happy smile.] "Thank goodness your safe! Every-" Pebbleheart stopped herself from talking as she noticed two small, unfamiliar kits. "Oh my! You have your kits as well!" Pebbleheart purred, giving the she-cat proud green eyes. [Her gaze then softened as she noticed someone missing, Pepperpaw.] "Where's your mate?" Pebbleheart asked, with concern. _________________________________________________________
"Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.” ]

I will protect those I love. A v a l on _______________________________________[Caw limped in after Spadestripe, dragging her tattered wing on the ground. She let out a sigh and collapsed next to the she-cat.
Avalon immediately jumped up, releasing the two cats from her feathery imbrace without a second thought. Galestar blinked up at her and stood, glancing over at Frostclaw excitedly.
Avalon hurried over to Caw, and the other eagles followed. Avalon leaned close to Caw, a worried look on her face.]
In a soft voice, Caw said, "Brought her back."
Avalon's eyes softened, and she murmured, "Yes you did."
[Caw closed her eyes, breathing heavily. A trail of blood could be seen from where she had entered. Caw looked over at Twigg, who nodded and flew off to cover the scent trail.]
Straightening up, Avalon asked loudly, "Where is the medicine cat? We are not accompanied by our healing birds...they were needed at home."
Before anyone could respond, Avalon added, "We need one quickly! Caw is badly injured!"_______________________________________Don't test my wrath!  The Gales of the wind are my heart.

[Spadestripe tried to whisk Seigekit away a bit.]
"Sweetie, we don't want you sick, too."
[She mewed.]
"Smokekit, Fallingkit, you two follow me. There's something we must take care of first."
[Spadestripe got up, lifting up Goldenkit's carcass.]
"I...um...need to take care of something."
[She mewed to Pebbleheart. Spadestripe padded to the middle of camp and set Goldenkit in the center. Smokekit looked up at her, his throat too sore to speak. His eyes were questioning her.]
"It's time you two knew about...death."
[Spadestripe looked at her dead kit with woe.]
"Death is this...thing...that takes away cats forever. They don't come back in real life, only in our dreams. Death took your brother, Goldenkit...I'm sorry, you two...you'll never see him again. I want you to pay your respects to him right now."
[Spadestripe heard a sniffling and looked down at Smokekit, whose eyes were wide and filled with tears.]
"I liked Goldenkit..."
[He mewed, tiny droplets of his sadness hitting the ground.]
"I liked Goldenkit, too...but we have to say good-bye to him..."
[Spadestripe mewed. Smokekit pressed his nose into his sibling's fur.]
"I'm gonna miss you, G-Goldenkit..."

 Sweetmoon smiled as she saw Swallowkit come towards them as well. "Why thank you." She said. Her smiled turned to worry as she saw Spadestripe and her kits. "Oh, dear..." She sighed as she heard the death of one of Spadestripe's kits. "Come, little ones, best not get involved in that which we may not be able to do much help... besides we wouldnt want you to catch a cold as well. " She said, to Pebbleheart's kits, gesturing them away from the commotion. She gave Spadestripe a concerned, yet comforting look, hoping the new queen had understood.

 F o r what is it to die, but to stand in the sun..._____________________________[Galestar stood, staring at Spadestrip in shock. Then he shook off his surprise and rushed up to her, his bright eyes joyful.]
"Thank StarClan you're back!" he whispered to her.
[But his eyes grew soft in sorrow as he looked down at the dead kit. He pressed his nose into its pelt and closed his eyes, sending a prayer to StarClan. He stood, glancing over to Sweetmoon, nodding at her approvingly.]
"Come, Cometstream, you and your kittens have had a rough ride. Iceears will have full paws tonight."
[He flicked her pelt with his tail, then swished it over to the nursery in a soft motion. His eyes grew worried, and he blinked.]
"Sorry to ask this so soon after you return," he said worriedly, "but have you seen Serpentfang on your way home? She left earlier and hasn't returned. Embergaze and Bluemoon are missing too..." _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?
