{Kyle : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room}
The Heartless were getting a bit annoying, but ultimately, it wasn't that bad. As long as he didn't have to fight Chaos, he was pretty golden. Even the giant Heartless with the ice wasn't terrible, because he could dodge that pretty easily. It was even better when he could just attack with earth spikes. His attention to how much magic he had, however, was lacking. Soon enough, he was feeling a drain, and had to stop attacking so he could start to conserve his energy. When he heard the call to attack the big Heartless producing ice, he felt a moment of regret that he didn't have any energy left to help. He stopped feeling bad when he saw that Noelle had it covered anyway.
Retreating back to the group, he watched as Kyle/Ultima used...was that a Shout? Like, from Skyrim? 'How do you think he did that? I wonder if it was just will molding the magic to the shape he wanted it. Or maybe because he's a dragoon. That'd be unfair.'
'Maybe you should just ask him later. Right now, maybe you should offer up those potions you have in your pocket to anybody who might be hurt.'
'Ah. Good point.' "All I've got are two potions, but whoever needs one is welcome to it. Noelle." He said, glancing specifically at her. He'd seen the icicle in her shoulder. He hadn't seen her heal it. And nobody else seemed that terribly wounded. Which was fantastic, all things considered.

[Joe: Atlantis: OTR]
The fighter smirked as the wall was brought down, and the Waltz suddenly preoccupied. Of course, that left Chaos there, unattended. No, not this time. Joe was NOT going to let a threat just walk away.
Joe was off, still on his adrenaline-induced haste, but not straight forward. He went up, bouncing off of invisible air platforms in a blur of speed. Once he felt high enough, he kicked off of a platform and aimed himself straight down. Using his wind to turn himself, he aimed his knees at Chaos's gut, brambles and thorns erupting from his knees as he thrust himself down onto Chaos.
No, he wasn't going to leave a threat alone until it was gone or finished off.

[ Noelle ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Noelle took the Ether from Axel and stowed it in her pocket. She'd gotten a small boost from her American Ginseng that would last her for now, it would be smart to save it for someone when they really needed it. When Kyle offered his potion, Noelle briefly wondered why before remembering her shoulder.
"Thanks, but save it for a just-in-case scenario, I can take care of this." She told him, hovering her hand over her shoulder. It glowed green as the Cure spell healed the icicle wound.

[Dawn : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room] Dawn caught the flask that Noelle threw towards her, "Thanks Noelle," she said. She paused her dances as she took a small drink to restore her mana, while looking around the battlefield. Chaos, after getting his tail whipped by Kyle was now getting beat by Joe. Meanwhile, Kyle was now taking care of their second largest threat, the Black Waltz. Her eyes went back to Chaos, who though he was occupided by Joe, was no doubt going to be pissed when he got up. Something had to be done. "I got an idea to occupy Chaos for awhile. I just hope it works." she said as she started to dance a completely new dance. She directed all the energy towards Chaos, with the power of her Forbidden Dance. ((OoC: Side note, Dawn stopped draining Black Waltz and refreshing Bravery, which is still in play for the next 3 turns. She is now concentrating her power to Vit-0 Chaos.))

[Nick :: Atlantis :: School of Hard Knocks]
From sweeping the field to being tossed around like a ragdoll, the Avatar of Chaos had quickly learned an important lesson about the art of war: Expect anything and everything to happen. He hadn't even had the time to counter or gloat or even take a moment to think like the barely rational person he had become since arriving in this universe. After what felt to be an eternity of attacks from the now fully revived and fully pissed hero, Nick realized the world had stopped spinning and he was no longer feeling more pain from the arsekicking he had apparently earned for breaking the holy man's arms. The wind around Nick's arms seemed to vanish, and his power seemed to decrease rapidly.
"...Oh, how the mighty have fallenohsh*tthisisgonnahu-" Nick began to mutter before realizing that a staff wielding hero type was crashing down with his knees. He felt thorns in his side as the fighter came crashing down, and the air rushed from his lungs. He gasped and wheezed, a portal opening underneath him as the fighter dashed away, and he sank from view. He reappeared next to his sword, blood dripping from his wounds around his ribs as well as a small amount flowing from his mouth.
"I...I hurt...it hurts so bad...wh-why...this is..." he coughed, crimson splashing from him once again. He reached down, plucking his sword from the ground and placing it back onto his back. "...we'll play again." He turned his head, looking towards the large seal before looking back. He focused on the charms wrapped around his wrist.
"...My liege, no clue if you can hear this, but I do believe I am done here. I expect my payment upon our next meeting. Good luck."
Another portal opened behind him, and the mad swordsman vanished from the battlefield.

[ Kyltima : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room ]
The Waltz had endurance, but not enough to withstand such constant assault. With no method of escape, it inevitably began to fade away in to black smoke, particularly when the stone cannonoids converged and smashed themselves against it. The Black Waltz had been slain.
About that time, Chaos appeared close by, catching Kyle's attention and causing him to quickly turn around to face him, landing on his feet. However, the Esper host gave his parting words--to Ajora, it seemed--and departed, bloody and beaten. Good. They could focus down on "the liege".
Turning back to face the seal, Kyle held his arms up, and gathered the spheres of light he'd been using into one larger sphere above him. He charged it with more magic, making it grow in size and luminescence, until it was bigger than he was; at that point, he launched it forward at the seal, massive star versus crimson barrier.
The explosion easily blinded anyone looking directly at it for a few moments, even if they weren't on the battlefield. However, when the light faded and sight returned, the seal remained. Visible cracks could be seen spreading from the center almost out to the edge, but it stood all the same.
"... hmm."
He was running out of time. He'd already pushed past the drive's limitations, he could feel the ache in his chest--he was, admittedly, using a bit of the Darkness from the cocoon to keep the union going. But that wouldn't last another few minutes.

[ Ajora : Atlantis : Throne Room ]The Replica grimaced in annoyance, the beam from the Trident still countering the beam from the Heart, the two energies clashing in the middle. Neither had taken or lost any ground, though Ajora only had the Trident to thank for that.
And then the Waltz died, and Nicholas was defeated.
"Well, that's my cue, I suppose," he muttered, taking a hand of the Trident and throwing it out to the side to open a Corridor. "It's been fun, but I've lost interest--"
The Corridor wouldn't open.
"Uh."You will not leave. Not when we're so close. .:You will not leave. Not when we're so close.:.Excuse me? You don't have the right--or the power to make that call--.:You're right. But I didn't.:.Ajora's blood ran cold as he felt a tightness in his chest, and he immediately threw his hand back on the Trident, making up for lost ground. The gnawing at the back of his mind had returned, a pinch he couldn't place. The Heart must be taken... .:The Heart must be taken...:.... or destroyed. .:... or destroyed.:.The black veins slowly began to reappear, slithering up around his hand from the nethicite and making its way down his arm. That was the source, and it was too late to stop it.
You'll kill us both! They'll break down the seal, I can't handle them all--Then work HARDER. .:Then work HARDER.:.Ajora cringed, pushing aside the sudden pounding in his head. If he was going to make it out alive, he'd need more. With a single mental command, he yanked the seed of Darkness he'd placed inside James' heart back to himself, tearing away what black magic he'd used on the corsair and leaving him clean of Ajora's influence--though inevitably in more than a bit of sudden pain from the speed of the removal.

{James : The Black Pearl : Below Deck}
James gave Anthony a forced smile at his reply, thumbs up and big goofy smile. He did his best to stifle a chuckle as he replied to Auron's statement as he and Beatrix left. The chuckle escaped at what Anthony said next and he laughed genuinely though only briefly. At the moment that Anthony asked what was cracking, the corsair craned his neck to the side with an audible pop as it cracked.
"Uh, my neck apparently," he replied with a light chuckle at his own play on words. "The rest of my body just aches..."
He thought deeply for awhile on Anthony's words, while he was just trying to lighten things up, undeniably trying to get the corsair to laugh and make him feel better the words about the danger that indeed lurked in every corner rang all too true. He had a strong feeling that Kuro Oni wasn't going to be the only replica to play the family member or close connection card, assuming that the creature wasn't created by a unique ability that only his replica possessed. The Lunar Gunner had no idea what exactly the creature that his 'brother' had turned into was, he had never seen the mark on the lycanthrope's chest before. However, he assumed it was just like the emblem that most heartless and all non-human nobodies possessed.
He was drawn out of his reverie though by a sudden painful tightening of his chest, as if a hand had grabbed onto the flesh of his chest and pulled very hard with the intent of ripping it away. His right hand grasped at his chest right where Ajora's seal was as his breath came in shallow hisses. As quickly as it came, the pain receded back into the dull ache that he still felt through most of his body, he gasped for breath for a few seconds as he tried to control his breathing.
"I'm alright...," James stated with a slight hiss, holding his left hand out towards Anthony in case his friend tried to come close and help him.
'That wretched seal has finally been removed,' Fenrir stated, his deep voice still sounding somewhat feral.
'Fenrir, What happened? I tried to reach for your power during the fight but you didn't answer. All that I tapped into was Darkness,' James asked, glad to hear the Lunar Wolf's voice again.
'I am sorry... I lost control of myself, the dark magic that Ajora used on your heart effected me directly, it made me feral. I could not help you, Darkness was the only thing I had to give at the time. Now that the seal is removed, I can begin to try and contain the darkness within your heart... However, there is a lot more than there used to be. I am not sure if I can,' The wolf replied solemnly.
'Alright, do what you can when the others return they will hopefully be able to help. It's good to hear your voice again Fenrir,' the corsair stated with a small smile on his face that he hoped his summon could sense.
'Likewise, I will do my best, hang in there.' Fenrir replied ending the conversation.
"Well that ends that fear, sorry if I worried you I'm alright now... I think, It seems that Ajora is done with me now, the seal is gone," he said to Anthony with a sigh of relief.
With the glowing red mark on his chest gone though he could see the full extent of what the replicas had done to him while he was under Ajora's control. The raised edges of the burn scar in the shape of the Ultima seal now fully visible upon his chest. He could not remember when it had happened, nor the pain of it thankfully. The accursed brand would more than likely remain with him for the rest of his life though, something that he didn't really have a choice in the matter of, there was nothing he could do but accept it.

[Axel: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
UGH- the Light- MAN this guy had a thing for theatrics. Despite the fight finally coming to a close, Axel held up his chakram before his face shielding his eyes from the blinding finale. As he lowered them again, he shifted a little in place- “Is that it? It’s over?”
He looked around at the others. The battle was tense since they got here, so it was hard to believe it actually. 'common, where was the trap? What other ugly surprise did Ajora have for us? No seriously? '
Woah.
Turning his attention to Kyletima attack on the seal. Still no effect? Well, sort of one, but something wasn't really right about it. Kyletima seemed curious about his too.
Without anything to stand in his way the nobody actually came over to it- not too close, and tried to get a better look at it.
“…I’m no expert but this is fishy isn't it? A powerhouse like Kyle err ultima-person, should have smashed this sucker- so what’s the deal?”

[Kyla: ????: ???]
If there was one thing Kyla couldn't seem to do for long, it was sleep when so much weighed on her heart. As tired, sore and damaged as she could be, she couldn't stay like that no matter how much her body needed it. Try as she might, the artist's couldn't help but dwell on the constant worry about the fate of those she left behind. Her stubborn anxiety that was put to sleep for a while began to fester in her dreamless sleep. Eventually she seemed to shift a little in the bed, hands clutching the bed sheets like she was having a bad dream. Kyla was trying to force herself to wake. “…I..have to…
-get back.”
She moaned, and her eyes squeezed and winced.
“-have to…
-fight.”
“-everyone…
-are they-
…safe?”
Stress never let the weary rest for long. If something wasn't done she’d wake prematurely if not put under. Her will to return regardless, her worry over what she left behind haunted her sleep.
“ No Aibou, stay asleep, your wounds aren't healed yet. Not even very much, you’re out fo danger but you’re not ready to even move yet.”
“- I have to. I have to get back. Everyone could be in trouble. If something happens, and I wasn't there to stop it, it will be my fault. They’re counting on me. … aren't they?”

[Anthony ~.~ Black Pearl ~.~ Below Deck]
Anthony laughed at James' response, though after hearing the corsair crack his neck, the young man did the same to his own neck, then proceeded to crack his knuckles and curl his toes until they, too, popped. An awful habit.
The brawler took note of his friend's sudden pain, but did not reach out to comfort him since the gunner raises his hand in protest. It was over within a matter of seconds anyway.
As James spoke, the knight recalled the night James was taken from them and turned into Ajora's puppet. He remembered how upset everyone was, including himself who had only met the man not that long before their capture. He shook the memory out of his head and turned his attention to his friend.
"I'm glad it's over," Anthony said. "At least that's one side mission we've completed. Now we could get back on track with the actual storyline. In the meantime, this ship is pretty dead... how long do you think we'd have to wait for the others? 'Cause I'm bored..." At that moment, his stomach began to growl. "And apparently I'm pretty hungry."

{Bobbi .:. Atlantis .:. Outside Throne Room}
Bobbi backed up a step as Joe came crashing down on Nick, and when the Avatar of Chaos disappeared, she searched the field frantically for him. He was right by Kyle, and when she saw the extent of his wounds, she put up Taulmaril and her arrow. Nick was out of the fight for now, and Kyle had taken care of tall dark and ugly. Now it was just that seal thing, and--
holyshitlight!
Bobbi yelped at the blinding flash, flung an arm up to shield her eyes about a millisecond too late, and had to squint and blink rapidly to get the spots out of her eyes.
"Jeezus, a 'flame on!' warning would have been nice," she grumbled, rubbing at her eyes with the back of her wrists.

[Joe: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
Needless to say, Joe wasn't having Chaos leave. Not that he apparently had any say in the matter, as he left before Joe could strike him any more. Which of course had the male stomping the ground repeatedly in anger. And repeatedly shouting the word "********!" over and over. A reoccurring enemy was never a good thing to have.

{James : The Black Pearl : Below Deck}
James smiled and nodded his head in agreement, he too was glad it was over and was wondering how much longer it would be until the rest of the group got back. He couldn't wait to see them all again. His thoughts were quickly derailed though as he heard Anthony's stomach growl and he couldn't help but chuckle. Which ceased as soon as his stomach also let out a loud growl. The corsair had no idea how long it had been since he had actually eaten anything, the last meal he could really remember was the breakfast they had had before they arrived in Port Royal.
"It seems I am too, wonder what they have to eat on this ship... if anything," he stated with a sigh. "So what all did I miss while I was under Ajora's control? How much time has passed?"

[ Kyltima : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room ]{ Cue Reprisal : Deep Anxiety Remix } { Alternate Cue Pseudo-Reprisal : Crystalmethequins at 4/3 } "... it wasn't enough."Thump-thump. The dual entity lifted his hands, palms up, and looked down at them--at the the mechanical vessel he new embodied due to his drive with Ultima. The golden frame would vanish in moments now, the visible circuitry sinking back into his body. But he had some time. What could he do?
The swallow spear vanished from behind him in a flash, and reappeared in his hands with an identical burst of light. He cautiously gripped it, his thumbs running over the mystical weapon.Thump-thump. Your will, given form, will grant you strength... can you wield it? .:... Kyle?:.Thump-thump. Their minds were starting to fracture again--their thoughts no longer unified, singular. The power of the dragoon... A wyvern-hearted vigilance... Thump-thump. It seemed like so long ago--years, even. But no, it had barely been a week, if that. And here they were, trying to stop something he'd indirectly started. Something he had to stop. Something he had to fix.A spear to both desolate and preserve. --preserve.--preserve. --preserve. Thump-thump. His grip tightened. He felt a sudden surge of energy--something he'd only felt once before, while training with Matthew. Raw, unfathomable energy. His drive was coming to a close, but in its final throes, he had a choice, just as he'd had then. Can you bear this burden? .:Are you sure that's the right choice?:.Yes..:... okay. Initiating consumption.:.Thump-- Without any warning in the outside world, the spear in his hands disintegrated--not vanished, but simply broke down, quickly becoming nothing more than swirling, golden dust that spiraled around Kyle before sinking into his body. The circuits, though already glowing brightly, surged with renewed energy, every line stretching his mechanical skin flaring with white light. Even the golden or white stitching on his sleeveless tunic began to shine, with the Seraphic Heart on his back glowing as bright as a newborn star--though, for whatever reason, the heart in the center seemed dim by comparison.
"I'd get back if I were you," he said to Axel, his voice still a unison of the hume and esper, before his energy-like wings erupted from his shoulders, sending him flying toward Joe, whose shoulder he grabbed and pulled so that the fighter was facing him. It became apparent, then, that the flaring circuits had made their way to his eyes, which were now solid violet; there were no whites, no irises, no pupils, just bright violet light. Without explanation, he summoned his two potions and his ether into his hands and held them out to Joe to take.
"There's no time to get frustrated. Ajora's still in there," he said, essentially forcing the concoctions into Joe's grasp--or dropping them at his feet if he simply refused. He gave no time to respond. "Spread these as you see fit, and wait for my signal."
Again, he rocketed away--this time, clear to the back of the group, flying over his allies without so much as a word. He twisted around to face the door, hovering a few meters in the air, and took a deep breath, bringing his hands in front of him; they weren't facing the seal, but rather each other, with his right hand a few inches higher than his left, as though he were simply attempting to meditate, hovering in mid-air. As he did, a single apex of light appeared within his chest, and from it, new trails of light began to snake through his body. They were more curved, like thin webbing with hundreds of tiny, barely-visible off-shoots as the main trails reached every inch of his body, curving around to head back toward his chest, much like arteries and veins...
... because they were, in fact, his arteries and veins.
