You know... I really love this guild, but I think it's doing something to my mind. I'm actually starting to think that proposing to have other people's babies is an appropriate compliment to make in real life...

My son has rosieola (spelling) eek He has red bloches all over his little body. And he has been waking up in the middle of the night crying. This isnt like him for him to wake up. Usually he sleeps from around 9-10 until 10-11 the next morning. I am kinda worried.

Does he have a fever? Has he been to the doctor? Roseola isn't very dangerous usually.

Yes last Friday we took him to the emergency room with a 103.3 temp. It lasted 2 days then the rash... then Tuesday night he started puking like crazy... ER visit again. He was dehydrated and wasnt having any wet diapers. We got his alergy results back and they say he isnt alergic to milk but today seeing as how hes back to eating some what better... He thre it up all over again. I have tried half and half (formula and D) tried it with soy and formula every combo possible and he just keeps throwing up each time a bottle has milk in it. Any kind. I am lost as to what to do. Were giving him pedilyte at the moment because the doctor said that it will help him getting back to eating more. He lost 5 lbs being sick and ever since we starting this milk thing with him. Any suggestions? They said hes healthy but isnt milk an important thing they should be drinking?

I'm sorry, I wish I could help more.

I do know my neighbor that I was visiting couldn't drink milk as a baby. She wasn't allergic, but it didn't agree with her. Her parents got a special kind of formula.

My mom just told me that cow milk, the dairy might be bothering him even if it's not an allergy. She said that you should try Soy milk, if you aren't doing that.

Try some sips of Gatorade if he is still dehydrated, the electrolytes and sugars will be a good temp for what he has lost, not to mention the carbs if he is loosing weight rapidly.

Pedialyte is basically gatorade for children. It has electrolytes in it, it's what doctors recommend most for small children with dehydration. It's specifically formulated for children. I'm not entirely sure, but Gatorade might not be the best thing for a 9 month old.

Ugh dont you love how cell phone companys always seem to sneak in charges for things. Today I got my bill and they added a power vision pack thingy on it which I definatly didnt authorize to be added onto either line. Just more stress for me to deal with. Its bad enough were broke as it is and my husband isnt going back to landscaping this year because they dont have any work for him (or so they say). Now my bills are higher!
