Hello Aura. *is hugged* How has your day been?

It's been okay. I had a couple of cooking errs though. sweatdrop

1.) I didn't cook the rice in the rice cooker right. My grandparents rice cooker comes in four parts: the base, the bowl, the lid, and some other thing that I assume is a drop lid for cooking stews in the rice cooker. When my grandparents last put the rice cooker away they left that extra fourth part between the bowl and the base, so when I went to cook the rice, I forgot it was there and the rice didn't cook at all when I wanted it to be cooked. So then when I did get it to cook, it was mushy.

2.) My cake tastes nasty like egg. I wanted to make a layer cake today, but I didn't have a cake recipe or cake mix. So, I searched one on the internet. When the two pans came out the oven, they wouldn't come out of the pan and ended up being all crumbly and gooey. Not only that, they tasted like egg in a horribly bad way. How can a vegan cake taste like egg? There was nothing in the ingredients that could have possibly made it taste like egg. So I ended up having two cakes that I have now covered in fruit sauce that I cooked up; one in a strawberry sauce and one in a blueberry sauce. So much for a tasty, pretty layer cake.

It's alright. There's always next time. I'll just eat these two covered in whipped topping. It, along with the fruit, is the only way to mask the taste of egg. Well, mostly.

Yeah, I guess. But I wanted a layer cake...
