Of course, as the creature landed on Drake, Yuki got mad. She flipped her body up again as her foot made contact with his face. Of course she was flexible enough do do that!

It didn't take long for Seph to establish a basic understanding for what these things were. The smell was a big clue. In a flash, Seph was towering over the creature that held Drake, his open-palm rising to the beast's chest, a ball of fire burning in the center. He threw the creature off, letting the ball of fire expand and engulf the creature.
He offered a hand to Drake. "Did it get you?"

*Drake accepted his hand and got up*
Nah... I think I'm good.
*Drake glanced around at everyone fighting the creature's and then to the one Seph had destroyed with the flames*
G-guys! It looks like you have to destroy all traces of them... or else they'll keep on going...

Kohyoh glared at the creature, the many flame butterflies the flew overhead all headed for the same target, the creature holing on tightly to her ankle. In moments the creature was burned and the butterflies gone. Kohyoh stood. The ashed arm of the creature breaking and the remaining hand easily knocked off her ankle by her on hand.
"Thi..." Kohyoh coughed again more blood coming from her mouth than her scrapes. The fighting causing her to strain her body more and more.

A dark figure watched silently from nearby. When they weren't looking, one of the creatures disappeared in a burst of pure, blue-white chakra.

He nodded softly, then looked at the remaining creatures. His eyes fell on Kohyoh and in an instant, he was next to her.
He whispered, "Kohyoh, you don't look well. Are you alr-" He ducked as one of the creatures tried to grab him from the side, sending the creature flopping over his back. He rose, tossing it to the ground behind him, turned, stomped, and promptly engulfed it in another burst of flame.
"Are you alright?" He asked, turned back to Kohyoh.
Sephiroth didn't have to be watching for it, Byakougan picked up an unrelated chakra source torching one of the creatures. It felt all-too familiar, but he kept his trap shut for the time being. She was helping right now, after all.

Kohyoh chuckled as she wiped away the blood from her mouth on her sleeve.
"Thats what I was telling you.. incinerate the body, they don't..."
Kohyoh ran at another creature, flipping forward and pushing her feet into its stomach, throwing him backwards onto the ground. As she landed facing him.
"... regenerate."

Another disappeared, engulfed in a chakra flare. There was a smaller flare designed to alert Sephiroth that the figure recognized his recognition.

As the creature holding Yuki disapeared in a blast of white chakra her eyes went wide. Her skin burned quite a bit behind her from the blast. She fell to the ground and coughed a few times before looking in the direction of the shooter with a soft growl.

"Hmm?!" Kohyoh felt something else... a strange power, but felt it must be from the gem Drake had.
"I.. I'm okay sir..." She said.
"Is that all five of them?" She asked.

*Drake grinned as all the creature's dissapeared one by one*
Eheheh... well... it looks like we got all five of 'em, so howabo-
*Drake stopped midsentence as the gem glowed brightly in his hands*
Uh oh...
*A rustling could be heard from the forest as a fleet of about twenty more of the creatures emerged*
EEEEGAD!
*Drake rushed over closer to Seph, Kohyoh, and Yuki*

Seph nodded in the direction of their hidden friend, then dropped Byakougan. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, hands still at the ready to throw out a few handseals.
He looked about at the mess. A few scorch marks here and there. After a quick one-look-over, he glanced towards the forest.
~You. Why are you here?~
Seph's attention was briefly drawn to the coming assault. "I've got these, cover your eyes, please." Seph's right eye twitched, a sign that he was releasing a chakra gate. He whispered an inaudible jutsu and a wall of super-hot flame burst into existance, fueled by an incredible release of chakra. It fell forward, collapsing on top of most of the twenty. One or two might have been left with hands that the wall missed. The trees were not harmed, and the grass around would probably just brown because of the intense heat.
Nyl would not have been pleased if the trees were harmed.

*Drake looked into Kohyoh's eyes afraid of what her idea was and shook his head as he caressed the gem with one of his hands while supporting it with the other*

"You know what? That pisses me off..." She said with another soft growl. She slipped a red glove onto her hand, then slammed it against her chest as it seemed to go through, throwing her soul out from her body. As her body fell, her spirit stood tall in black hakama and gi, claw on hand. She shunpoed in front of each other the creatures that Sephiroth left standing. She stabbed them each twice in the same spot before they could react. In a few moments they cried in pain before disappearing into dust which was blow away into the air.
