"Then Ireland may not be the easiest. Not everyone can afford it." He made no judgements. He had no idea what his coworkers made, really. "I wouldn't mind paying a few people's way, though."

"I was thinking just Toby, Maia and Dari? It could be a small wedding." He certainly didn't mind, He didn't have good friends at the library like he'd made in Lori's friends. "We don't need anything grand, love." He nuzzled Lori's cheek. "You're all I need."

Lori nodded and smiled. "That sounds nice. I guess we'll just have to figure out where everyone's staying, and who'll perform the ceremony." Unfortunately they'd have to be legally married first, on paper, before they could head out for the ceremony. Undocumented elves did not make for good legal witnesses.

Dari accepted the kiss and his hands greedily sought Cody's chest. He didn't have much muscular definition, but it didn't matter. Dari studied his shape, his body hair, the beat of his heart. He continued kissing as his hands moved down Cody's waist and felt his hips, then came back to his chest.

For his first time dating a guy, Dari was certainly eager to get started. That suprised him a bit. He'd been expecting at least some hesitance. Cody kissed him again and started tugging on the guy's shirt.

Cody didn't pull away. Just stayed in that position, face only inches away from Dari's. "I don't know what forces were behind our meeting, Dari. But whatever they are, I'm grateful to them." So very grateful. He had never felt like this before. Never had someone he connected with so fast and so easily. "I love you." God, did he love this man. His hold on him tightened slightly, and he pressed his nose to Dari's, eyes hooded and wearing a soft expression.

Dari closed his eyes to feel the closeness between them.
"I am too," he said, voice soft and dripping with affection. He reached up to stroke Cody's curls again and gave him one last kiss. "I love you too. I don't know how, but I do." Sience lingered for just a few moments before he chuckled.
"We've only watched one movie out of, what, four or five?"

"Let's watch them," Cody invited, but still made no attempt to move. "Romance has nothing on us, though." He reluctantly removed his arms from Dari, but quickly took hold of his boyfriend's hand. Almost as if he was convincing himself that Dari was real. That he was still there, that this wasn't a dream.
He turned, slightly, to the television. "Which do you think?"

Dari let Cody take his hand and then brought it to his lips for a kiss. T be entirely honest, he wasn't too interested in the movies any more. He was relaxed, satisfied, and felt complete. He chose a movie at random and got up to insert it into the player, then quickly returned to Cody and took his hand back.
By the end of the film, Dari found himself wanting closer contact. He nosed Cody's ear and smiled.
"Are you tired?"

Cody was warm, comfortable, and it was as if the entire world had failed to exist besides he and Dari. He didn't notice the credits rolling, he'd stopped really watching the movie almost immediately after it'd begun.
"Hm?" he asked. He stretched and wrapped an arm around Dari. "Mhm. Come sleep with me?"

Dari had noticed the evening-out of Cody's breathing. He nodded.
"So much for the guest room, hm?" he asked, "I'd love to share your bed."

Cody stood, offering Dari his hand to help him up. "Told you. No one ever uses it." He smiled at Dari. "My parents haven't come to see this place, and I set it up for them." He'd never had a boyfriend in this place, either. The last time, he'd been living in a college dorm!
"Tell me about one of your adventures?"

"Sure, sure," Dari said, "I'll tell you about my favorite." They made it to the bedroom and Dari looked around. A lot could be said about a man from his bedroom. Cody's was just like him.
"Once, I was walking through the greenery when I came upon a man. He seemed interesting. Maybe a little awkward. But we decided to see each other again, and as it so happened he brought me to a beautiful grove full of wildflowers, and we fell asleep in each other's arms."
