@ Pen: Yeah, I've seen how people get during Spring Semester. It's not always so pretty. But look at the bright side, you're learning! Learning is fun!

lol Pen

As much as I miss school, for now I'm perfectly happy with where I'm at. I'll go back to school eventually, just for right now I'm enjoying my current lifestyle. :3

I am fully aware of that- I realized that six years ago when my cat died. In human years she was, I think twenty years old. I was fifteen at the time. She was a good cat.

@ cats: You guys just reminded me that I only have a year and a half left before I have to leave my kitty at home while I go out of state for college. sad

@ Jay: D; LAAAAAAAME!!!!!! :O Wait, where're you going to school?
PostPosted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 4:03 pm

@ Styk: Somewheres. razz
It really depends on the tuition cost and if I get accepted to the school or not. I'm looking at one in either St. Paul, MN (Macalester), one in PA somewhere (Carnegie Mellon), here in CA (CalTech), NY (Rochester) or maybe Mass. (MIT, if Jesus appears and a miracle happens gonk ). But they all have to have good tech courses.

@ Jay: That's pretty cool! biggrin I can picture you getting into MIT!
PostPosted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 4:19 pm

@ Styk: You know that MIT has only a .2 - 2% (I forget which) admissions rate, right? I'll apply for the lulz but I won't expect anything.

@ Jay: XD With that attitude, it would be no wonder! lol!!! But yeah, I didn't know about the admission rate. I was just picturing you going there someday.

With your knowledge of computers its all really based on grades. Try your hardest and you can go anywhere.

So, how's everybody doing today? Things are good?
PostPosted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 5:34 pm

@ Pen: Yeah, I know the whole song-and-dance about it, but I have a 4.17 (mostly A's, one or two B's, some are advanced placement courses) but I'm in a competitive school. I have a feeling that because I'm not perfect, worst-case scenario will be that my grades will look next to worthless to the good colleges and those who give scholarships, and I'll be stuck somewhere else or having to constantly apply to other schools to get anywhere, while the idiot with all A's with help from mummy and daddy get in on a full ride scholarship. :/

[excuse the massive runon sentence]

@ Styk: At least I wasn't all like "Oh I'm not going to apply at all because they only accept X number of people." Close, but no cigar.

Well since you heard it before I will save the dance for later. Really finding the school that fits you and you fit in, is a trying journey in itself. I have a lot of friends who have the grades to get into any school but they all end up transferring around like a game of hot potato.

I would like to Award for the best Foreshadowing to Styk. Man, I was impressed.
