"I think you mentioned it, once or twice," Trist replied, nonchalantly. "But you've been leaving me in the dark. I'm bored, I need something to do." Raising her hand up before he could send her off with paperwork, she added, "And I refuse to be put behind a desk."
((She could be one of the plainclothesmen to guard Rose and/or Anthony... I read the last fifty pages or so))

Arthur sighed. "Fine. Well it seems one of my officers is refusing protection. I however refuse her refusal. I'm assigning you to guard Rose Sphinx and Anthony Giovanetti from any harm anyone might try to cause them" he said.

After a few hours of consoling Rose lead Iris to sleep after the emotional exaution. She then curled up next to Anthony and made him start to watch the movie, 'The Princess Bride.'
Beans was having a cup of coffee at the kitchen table.

Trist smiled. Finally! "Anything I should be aware of? Will they be trying to ditch me, or do they know who I am?" She doubted it. Not many of her colleagues knew she even existed, seeing as how she was usually at home, undercover.
((Bleh... Gotta go and hang with the family. Fun... stare ))

"They probably will try to ditch you" Arthur said, "in fact, they were supposed to come back here to the station a while ago". He checked his watch. It was getting late.

Trist acknowledged the comment with a single nod. "I guess I'll just stick around until they turn up then." Otherwise, how exactly was she supposed to find them? She turned, prepared to leave the office. "If there is a next time, I'll knock," she promised, pulling off a crooked smile before stepping out into the hallway. She vaguely remembered Anthony's face, and she could pick Rose out of a crowd any day. Rose was one of those people that were hard to forget.

Trist sauntered down the hall, waiting for Rose and Anthony to make their appearance. She sat down on one of the many chairs in the lobby, looking for all the world like a bored customer, waiting for a lawyer to fabricate sentence after sentence with big words or for a banker to assure her she had enough money to pay her friend's bail. Ignoring the glances from receptionists and secretaries, some which seemed curious, and some which seemed to ask "Can I help you," she picked up a newspaper and started rifling through it. Coupons, ads... she'd be there for a while.

"Just Shut up and drive."
She snapped.Angel chuckled in his throat, but said nothing. He kept driving.

Colors mix and mingle in a silent chorus of pain...Oh...Sami stepped in through the door, smiling sheepishly. "Ello, Gov'na," she greeted good-naturedly. "Got a minute?" She stepped in front of his desk and chuckled nervously. "Well, it seems like Tony's car had a... small problem with the piping, and we are now left without transportation. So, if I could so kindly ask..." she clasped her hands in front of her, pressing her... assets together. "May we borrow your car? We'll treat it like a baby, I swear."

A beat skipped, and she looked at Angel. In a dash she yanked the wheel to the side of the road and for lack of a better term..
tackled Angel against the side of the door, placing a kiss upon him.[[There. Merry Christmas- her heart isn't entirely icy. :/ ]]

That made Angel...and romantic me, happy!!!! ^.^ .....yes...I'm that lame....)) Angel hit the brakes when she yanked the wheel and when they came to a stop he was going to called a slurr of rude things, but was stopped in a instant when she kissed him. He hugged her to him and kissed her back, slightly wondering why she'd do this after proclaming that she hated him.
