The ijutsu faded from view. "I'd be wise to take into consideration who gave you that information.." He sighed some, then looked up at her, "Whatever I was scared of, I'm not anymore. I never was scared of you.." He leaned back and let his head hit the grass. "Yes, I've changed my mind, buddy. I challenge you to a spar. When this technique is finished." He looked up at her again and smiled.

Her eyes closed a little at hearing the word she wanted so much.
"Dying?... really sir?" she asked still having her back turned to him, as she wiped the side of her mouth off with her long sleeve, "You can't get rid of me that easily, sir." She tried to smile, but attempts do fail.

*Drake smiled as he pulled away and went up to his room. It was a mess like always, but eventually he found his staff and headed out the dojo. As he walked out he glanced over and saw Kohyoh and Neko, neither of which he had spoken too recently. But he saw that something was going on that wasn't his place to bud in. Although it had taken him a while, he'd learned to occasionally sit and learn about a situation before diving in head first. Not that he applied that knowledge very often*
Hope everything's okay...
*Drake fixed his attention back on the road ahead and smiled as he silently walked past Nyl and Seph. He saw they were getting ready for a spar.*
I'll have to ask about how that went when I get back... when giants collide. Heh...
*Drake finally dissapeared into the forest and out of sensing range*

What's not to care about? It usually worked much better with the word 'like.'
But you're not going to tell her?
She knows. I've told her.
Let her know again?
Why? So I can make our relationship that much more awkward? I like where we are right now, I like our friendship how it is. We joke, we play, we fight sometimes, but we love each other. I don't need a more intense relationship with her. It'd be really nice, but what's not to like about where we are now? She's already shown no interest in me, so I'm not going to push myself on her. That's just asking for more hurt, and I'm happy right now. I don't want to go back to the days where she avoided me. I like our friendship as it is.
Who are you trying to convince?

She said looking away from him. Taking Clause from his perch upon her head.
"I haven't become weak, or grown so tired." She said reassuring him of the signs of her needing to feed.
She closed her eyes, remembering the deal that was struck long ago. Her quota was almost reached.
