Not so much distorted like pixilated as odd sounding. I've spoken to my mother on it and she sounded so different that I might have thought I had the wrong number if I hadn't memorized it when I was five. xD We need a new one desperately, but it's not essential sense the only people who call are friends and family who don't care how the phone sounds.

Ah. That makes sense. In my home everyone has a cell phone, so there's no need for a house phone. We used to have one, but we stopped using it since no one used it. whee Good night Chii.  And don't worry about Aura. She hasn't been converted completely to Umeism.
