Sammy sighed, getting up after a painful groan and answering. "Hello, worst-situation-ever speaking. Who is this?" she questioned, her tail thumping lazily on the ground. She considered sending an electric shock out to paralyze the villains, but thought that the guns might have an unexpected reaction and go off if she did. She decided against it.

"Hello mam, are you one of the hostages?" without waiting for an answer, the officer on the other end continued. "What are the Hostage-takers doing? our snipers can't get a feed on either of them..."
One Baddie was still working on the safe, while the other was watching Sammy espectantly.

Sammy knew that the "baddie" was still watching her, so she replied with, "Yes, sir, this is the Lilycove Museum of Art... No, I'm sorry, we're not open today. It seems we're experiencing some technical difficulties in the lobby of the museum, as some people have been stuck there for a bit. " She hoped to Arceus that the person on the other line was smart enough to take the hint.

Hmm, these robbers were stupid. turning their backs to Sammy as she replied with quick words. "I got it!" One of the robbers called, punching the air before the first slapped him on the back of the head.
"Alright miss, I want you to listen carefully, 30 seconds after I hang up We're gonna pump that lobby full of tear gas. Try and warn the civilians to cover their eyes and and mouth. Understand?" Whether she understood or not, he hung up.

Sammy's eyes widened, but she nodded swiftly. She glanced from Adam to the people gazing at her with frightened eyes. "I know that you all are on the verge of tears, but you just have to try and not choke up, okay? Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and hold it for a bit..." she said, acting like a therapist and using a soothing voice. She gave a glance to each of them, though, that suggested there was more to what she said.

Adam smirked at Sammy's clever ploy deespite it taking him a few puns to get, looking up in time to see one of the robbers holding something. A... Well, It was rainbow colored, but shaped like some sorta crystal, the way it hit the light... it looked like a mini-aurora borealis. Only some of the civilians followed suit at first, but they all gradually caught on.
One of the Robbers looked up, "Hey, What's going on over-"
CRASH!!!
A cylinder-shaped grenade crashed into the building. The Robbers yelled, while simultaneously the roof was ripped off. A helicarrier type machine hovered above the museum, a rope dropping from it down to the thieves. The two grabbed on slowly rising through the roof.
"Come on Sammy!" Adam called, running towards the escaping thieves with squinting eyes. Gas was slowly filling the room.

Sammy lunged forward, trying to cover her mouth the best she could. She knew the tiniest amount of gas would cause her to spazz again. Although she was quick, she wasn't quick enough... The gas filled a small portion of her mouth and caused her to choke as she ran. She continued choking until she caught up with Adam, a small bit of blood running from the side of her lip to the bottom of her chin. "We've gotta get 'em!" she cried. Although her breathing was awful, she could easily spot the thieves escaping silhouttes. She followed in pursuit, still choking on her own throat.

Adam skidded to a stop reaching out and grabbing Sammy by the waist. He looked at his friend worriedly, before remembering their situation. He beat his wings, clearing some of the air, before taking off through the hole. "Get on my back!" He called, the aircraft getting starting to pull out of Lilycove.

"In any other situation, that statement would make me assume you were hitting on me!" she gurggled, looking forward. She pointed infront of them and to the left a bit. "Right there!" she called, seeing the escaping thieves.

Adam nodded, Pulling out his Bow. Pulling the string of light back, sticking his tongue out in concentration. He needed a perfect shot... He fired, an arrow of light shooting through the sky, hitting and knocking the crystal out of the hanging thief's hand. He spun into a dive, mentally noting that he'd have to do something to make up this thrill ride to Sammy. He reached out and caught the crystal, pulling it to his chest as the Aircraft sped off into the distance, the thieves yelling in frustration.

Sammy gasped as Adam made the many intricate twists and turns, clutching her chest in frustration with herself. She ducked down, plastering her face to the feathers of his wings. She hoped it was over now.

It was. Adam landed on the far outskirts of the city, letting her get off as he looked at the Crystal. "This is what they wanted? Sure it's pretty but..." He shook his head, "Let's head back." He'd have to make sure to show the stone to Ginji or someone, see what they thought. Sirens could be heard in the distance coming towards them. This wouldn't look good if they were caught.
