Ugh, playing as Ming was a pain. I remember playing them before they fixed it up so any faction could declare war. Before that it was so hard to expand.
Yep, EUIV starts in 1444 instead of 1399.

I modded the factions so that only the Eunuch faction can't declare war. I also restricted Ming so that they won't be able to build colonies. So now, the factions have more bonuses than restrictions. I love to see an aggressive Ming fighting against an aggressive European power. 3nodding
I would also love to see Ming going for more personal unions especially with Korea, the Mongol Khanate (which I modded so that they're no longer a horde), Ayuthaya, Khmer and hopefully Hindustan. 3nodding
I like the 1399 start date because Burgundy is still in the HRE... blaugh

I think it's silly that any faction can't declare war at all. Instead there should just be penalties for being at war. Not being able to declare war doesn't make sense. rolleyes
Burgundy usually disappears in EUIV because of the Burgundian Inheritance. Usually Austria and France splits their territory unless something bad happens to Austria.
