Bakura waved and turned his attention to the bed. He tossed the covers sloppily over it, and then flopped back down, over the sheets.
"What?!" Akhenaden stared at his son in surprise. They were btoh in Akhenaden's room. Akhenaden had been pacing, and Seto was sitting on a chair, his head bowed low. "The pharaoh's wife wants to be with you? Why haven't you taken advantage of this? Seto, you idiot!" He could get angry without raising his voice too much. "This is your perfect chance. Accept this woman, Kabi, only if she does you a favor. Have her slip poison to the pharaoh, on a day when you're off doing something publically. Nobody could possibly blame you!"
"The blame would fall on me." Seto said, shaking his head. He really didn't want to be discussing this with his father, but Akhenaden had practically dragged him alone. "It wouldn't work."
"But the pharaoh..." Akhenaden hissed. "...would be dead. Even if people suspect you, by the time someone tries to speak out, you would be king, if you acted fast enough. You would have the power to kill any who dare oppose you! Hell, you already have that power!"

"Seto, I want you to leave now." Akhenaden said patiently. "Find Kabi. Make the deal with her. We must act quickly. Nothing will be gained by waiting." Seto hesitated, and Akhenaden scowled. "Go! Now!" Steo got up to his feet and left, slowly.

Seto knew Akhenaden would be furious, but he wasn't about to betray Ayira and go to Kabi for such a thing. Not when he didn't want to. He had returned to his room and was sitting on the balcony, holding his head in his hands and thinking deeply.

Ayira entered the room and saw seto "hey hun. Done with your priestly things?" She asked.

Seto wiped at his eyes before looking up to Ayira. "Not really, especially since recently that seems to involve having sex with Kabi to kill the pharaoh. According to my father, at any rate."
