That is a great closing line.
I did not want the story to continue as much as I just want more stories in that world (perhaps woven through the events of the 5 games). I guess at this point remakes/remasters may be in order instead, though such things are often of dubious quality.

I would fear that a reimagining of the series would rob it of what I truly love it for. The intelligence in the script, and the complicated storyline. Remaking it would likely have them dumbing down the speech so that it would be easier to understand, and then of course the voice actors would likely be replaced. It would kill the whole thing for me.

This is true, that would be very bad. Ideally the vocals were high enough quality to still be good today, and the script needn't change either. Improving gameplay alone would be welcome, though I know remakes all but necessitate graphical upgrade.

It kind of makes me hope for a remake that simply rips the audio for speech, and makes a new game incorporating those vocals. At the very least, the elder god (Tony Jay), Kain (Simon Timpleton), and Raziel (Michael Bell). The rest can be negotiated, but those three are essential to me.

I feel ya. I've been angrier/grumpier lately. Not exactly sure why, but I believe I've been the miseryguts lately. Trying not to be, but life has been getting to me rather hard.

The sad thing? I don't think so. It is just doing what I always see it doing. At least for the last decade and more. The only difference is I have seen myself withdrawing from the world as much as possible in recent months. With rare exception, my socialization IRL has slowed drastically.

At least before you had a goal to strive for. Not that you don't now, but your education isn't being used to better your position. I just really wish you could land some job in your field.

Perhaps. living without hope. Combined, my wife and I work about full time each, and we make 27K a year. Poverty is $25K a year. we work absurdly hard just to be at poverty.
as do I, my friend. Still, I don' thave much hope anymore.
