Before being with Samuel had been hard. Micha had felt Samuel was almost ashamed of kissing him in public but he knew that wasn't the case. He understood Samuel's need to have hid who he was even from himself. Micha had allowed it after all he knew it would do no good to force him into something he didn't want. Public displays of affection would be new for them. He rather enjoyed teasing Samuel for it. Micha however wouldn't push his luck too much. Questioning Samuel, he watched as he looked around at the few seats that were left. Micha glanced in the direction Samuel mentioned. He nodded, ”Yeah, that's fine.” Micha responded as their order was ready. He took his own drink and scone, walking with Samuel towards the chairs. Micha took a seat, seating his bags on the floor, while he scone and drink were set on the table. He relaxed into the seat taking a sip of his drink.

Samuel knew he was a hard man to be with. He was spoiled, stubborn, very privileged, as well as very clingy. Out of everything he could be, he had never been ashamed of Micha. Only of himself. Coming out of the closet had almost been like starting over. His parents treated him like an outcast, and aside from Alaine most of friends avoided him. The worst thing about coming out though, the one person he wanted to tell the most wasn't around. Samuel had long gotten over that fact. Just the fact that they were together now was enough. In time, he liked to think that he would come out of his shell and be openly affectionate with Micha. He certainly would like to be. But for now, he would take his teasing and do things his way. As their drinks were ready, together they looked around the crowded room. Samuel spotted two chairs near the back and pointed them out to Micha.

He waited patiently as the male gathered his things and walked around the large area. He politely excused himself and took the seat in the corner. Samuel set his cake and drink on the table before sitting, while leaving the bags on the floor by his feet. Sighing, he picked up his cup to take a sip as well. The latte was warm and just a little bit sweet. But not overpowering so. He soon set the cup back down and turned to Micha. "So do you think the rain will really let up?" he asked, making small talk.

Taking a seat, Micha watched as Samuel moved to sit across from him. He took a few sips from his drink enjoying the salty sweetness of it. Micha knew it wouldn't be something for Samuel to enjoy. He didn't mind that Samuel preferred bitter to sweet. Micha watched as Samuel took a few sips of his own drink. He listened as Samuel questioned him. Micha shrugged his shoulders, ” Maybe, why you done playing in the rain?” He asked teasing Samuel as he grabbed his scone to take a bite.

Sipping on his coffee as he sat there, Jepsen watched Ally. He saw no reason they couldn’t enjoy themselves, as long as strings weren’t attached. Jepsen knew Ally wasn’t looking for a relationship, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t be his stress release. Sitting there he watched as Ally leaned over to kiss his cheek. He questioned Ally already knowing the answer, but he couldn’t help himself. Jepsen listened as Ally spoke answering him. He shook his head smiling at him. ”Not at all.” Jepsen spoke smiling at Ally, as he continued to sip on his coffee while he sat there.

Samuel could imagine just how sweet Micha's own drink was as he sat there sipping it. He didn't mind that their tastes differed. It wasn't as though it put any kind of strain on their relationship or anything. He sat there taking sips from his own drink. A few moments of silence passed before Samuel made an attempt at small talk. He watched as Micha shrugged his shoulders. He laughed softly at the males teasing. "Obviously." he replied, smirking. Sighing, he set his cup back down on the table. "Really though, I'm just feeling tired. It's been forever since I walked around the city like this." Samuel liked being with Micha and he loved being able to hang out with him. But he wasn't used to going to every little place on foot. It was exhausting. Add in the fact that he hadn't slept that great the night before only made him feel more tired. He hoped the coffee and cake would be enough to give him the energy to get back to Micha's hotel. At least when they got back he would be able to rest and maybe take a little nap before dinner.

For now, he was completely fine with being with Jepsen with no strings attached. It was so different than when he was with Liam. One minute they were happy and somewhat loving. Then the next, they acted like complete strangers. He really did like Liam, but what he did was completely unforgivable. At least with Jepsen, he felt as though they could sit comfortably, flirt as they pleased, and not worry about where this was going. Alaine smiled behind his mug as he settled back in his seat. When the male questioned him, he shrugged his shoulders and threw his own words back at him. He watched as Jepsen smiled as he shook his head. Alaine took another sip of his coffee as the male spoke. Falling back into silence, Alaine continued to drink while enjoying the males company.

Micha knew that Samuel wasn't used to being in his feet and wandering the city. He himself was used to it after all he didn't own a car. Micha enjoyed his time with Samuel after all it wasn't often they actually ventured outside to hang out for an extended period of time in public. He nibbled on his scone as he sat there. Micha was happy to have spent time with Samuel as well. He teased Samuel listening as he soon responded to his words. Micha laughed softly, ” I'm sure, well if you want after we eat, we can go brave the rain again and head back to the subway.” He spoke smiling as he sipped his drink. Micha didn't know if Samuel would want to but it would beat waiting. At least in the station they would be under ground away from the rain too.

In a way it was odd to be out and about in the city. Usually Samuel was sleeping the day away and getting ready for his next day at work. While it was tiring, he had to admit he was enjoying himself. He liked being with Micha and just out doing something with him that didn't exclusively involve eating. He smirked as he teased the male, watching as Micha laughed at words. When he spoke again, he was very tempted. "But what about your shopping?" he asked. "I thought you still had a few more stores you wanted to check out." If he was being honest, he would love to just hop on the next train now and head back. But he didn't want to disappoint Micha. This was supposed to be his day. He didn't want to ruin it by complaining and seeming like a brat. Besides, they had already visited so many stores already. A few more wouldn't exactly kill him.

Miguel didn't mind if Samuel wanted to leave to head back to his hotel. He wasn't bothered by the idea. If anything he understood. Micha was having fun but it seemed Samuel was miserable by walking around in the rain. He wasn't disappointed after all he knew that it would be more comfortable to be chilling in his hotel instead of the rain. Micha listened as Samuel spoke questioning him. He shook his head smiling at Samuel. ”No it's okay, we can head back to the hotel. I can go shopping another day.” Micha spoke honestly as he sipped his hot chocolate.

Samuel very much would love to head back. But he didn't want to seem like a bad boyfriend. While he liked being out with Micha, the rain was the cause for his horrible mood. He just never liked being in it. Now sitting here with something warm to drink and sweet to eat while watching the rain. That was something he enjoyed doing. But the thought of going back out there just sounded awful. Samuel knew Micha still had places he wanted to go. He thought it might be rude if he told him to call it all off now. When he was asked what to do next, he answered with a question of his own. He watched as Micha shook his head while smiling before speaking honestly. Samuel was surprised by his response. He would have thought for sure the man would have loved to drag him back out into the cold rain and take him to a few more stores before the day was done. Again, he felt compelled to answer with a set of questions. "Are you sure?" he asked, wanting to know that this was his definite answer. "I mean, won't it be a pain to have to come back out here?" Samuel sat there as the male lifted up his cup and took another sip of the steaming hot chocolate. Already knowing the male to be speaking honestly, he smiled and reached across the table to cover his free hand with his own.

As much as he would love to shop more, Micha knew Samuel wasn't enjoying it. He could come out another day, it wasn't a big deal to him. Micha didn't want Samuel to shop with him if he wasn't enjoying himself either. He didn't blame him after all not many people would enjoy themselves in the rain. Micha wasn't bothered by the question. He would rather Samuel tell him the truth than lie to him. Responding to Samuel's question, he listened as he questioned him again. Micha shrugged as Samuel questioned him. ”Yeah, I don't mind. I can go shopping another day.” He spoke watching as Samuel reached across the table to cover his hand with his own. Micha smiled turning his hand over and lacing his fingers with Samuel's as he held onto his hand.

Samuel didn't mean to be a wet blanket. But he had just about all he could tolerate of today's weather. He was more than ready to go back and cuddle up with his boyfriend. He appreciated that Micha had put up with him all morning and most of the afternoon. Samuel couldn't help wanting to clarify with him one last time before affirming their plans. He smiled as Micha shrugged and confirmed himself once more. "Alright, in that case let's go back when we're done." he replied, at last agreeing to the male's original question. Reaching across the table, Samuel covered the males hand with his own. He watched as Micha turned his hand and laced their fingers together. He held his hand gently in his own feeling warm and relaxed as they sat there enjoying their drinks and snacks.

Micha knew Samuel would rather be chilling in the hotel then being miserable in the rain. He wasn't bothered by heading back after all they still would be spending time together. Even though he had taken a shower this morning the idea of a nice hot bath sounded pleasant. Micha nodded as Samuel spoke about leaving as soon as they were done. He didn't mind after all he didn't know when the rain would stop and they were close to the next station. Micha sipped on his drink as he finished eating his scone up.

He couldn't help his mood. But he was happy that Micha was at least providing options to make it better. He liked knowing that they would still be able to spend time together. Samuel smiled as the male nodded in agreement. Lifting his cup, he took another sip of his coffee. He squeezed the males hand lightly and continued to nibble on his coffee cake.

It wasn't long before Micha finished with his scone and drink. He glanced toward Samuel as they sat there. Micha didn't want to rush him after all they had all day. He relaxed in his seat as he held onto Samuel's hand. Micha enjoyed the feeling after all public displays of affection had been rare when they were together. He knew Samuel though was still shy about it. Micha found it cute but he was patient. He wasn't going to do something Samuel hated or disliked. Micha knew it would take time for him to be comfortable.
