I have the face of a K i t, .: Rosekit :. xxxxxThe little bundle of energy rolled out of the nursery in the SeaClan camp. Rosekit couldn't help but start running around the whole camp, her mother was talking to a warrior, so no one could tell her to stop. "I'm a warrior, watch me roar. ROAR!" She meowed loudly. She looked around for somebody to play with and then she spotted a unfamiliar calico pelt. After thinking for a moment, she decided to introduce herself. Bounding up to the large cat, she noticed this cat was a she-cat. Rosekit poked the she-cat and looked up at her. "Hello! I'm Rosekit, Rainface is my mommy! Who are you?!" The light brown kitten asked, her tail swinging back and forth. She couldn't wait until she told her momma about her new friend!.: Kit of SeaClan :. And the heart of a W a r r i o r.

Guardianpaw glared at Dragonfire moodily and snapped, "No, a message for the ocean! Of COURSE it's for you! Aren't you the new deputy or something? Shiftpelt sent us to give you this message!"
"Why, I never thought of it that way," Puresun said with surprise. "Congratulations, Dragonfire! i always thought you had a leader-like look about you."
Guardianpaw hissed with frustration and continued on bluntly, "Look, Shiftpelt's planning to gather all the leaders together in a secret gathering thing to discuss what to do about the Slayers since it's obvious the Clan is in great peril, yadda yadda. She wanted to let you know about that cuz she's on her way to the Moonpool and didn't want you to be surprised or somethin. I assume you're going to tell the Clan about it too. Now we have to go back home!"
Puresun snorted at his rudeness and said apologetically, "Don't mind him, he was born with a thorn eternally stuck in his bum."
[Guardianpaw spat at her and she swatted back in retort, eyes glaring.]
"It's time you learned some manners!" she defended, raising her chin, and turned to Dragonfire to meow warmly, "See you at the next gathering, then-er...hopefully."

[Dragonfire wanted to swipe at the smaller, sarcastic toned apprentice. Knowing now however that he was not her enemy she just instead gave him a poorly disguised snarl trying to look like a smile. The fiery she cat however flinched back as he mentioned her as the deputy of Seaclan. Her mouth gaped open but made no sound, she was at a loss for words. Was it true or was he just making generalizations?
The warrior had mixed feelings at the possibility, she always wanted to be recognized, and what better way than to be deputy, but on the other paw Shiftpelt was the deputy chosen by her leader Moss-star, and if she became deputy then that would only solidify the truth that she was gone forever. Dragonfire knew Mossstar was gone, she had seen her life fade away right before her eyes, but the gladiator still at times hoped that she would return, even thought she knew very well it would never happen.
She snapped out of her thoughts as she heard Puresun's chipper "congratulations". She gave her a confused smile as she nodded her head.]
"Uh, thanks mate..."
Well at least now i know this is about a meeting and our message did get though. Things could have been worse. And if i am the new deputy then that must mean that Shiftpelt has faith in me, so i must have faith in her as well. I am not afraid for our future, Seaclan will conquer any disaster that will challenge us!
"Alright... thanks for filling me in! I will be sure to let the others know. See you two at the gathering, Puresun, Thornbutt."
[With that she then turned and headed back deeper into Seaclan, wondering how she was to tell all the cats in Seaclan, she didn't have the patients to run up to every cat, she would have to get all of their attention. Climbing up onto a high rock she let out a surprisingly loud meow.]
"OI! Seaclan! You might wanna give me some o' your attention for a moment. I just talked with two messenger's from Nightclan. They have informed me that trusty old Shiftpelt plans to have a sit down chat with the clan leaders about what to do with the giant messes that have been giving us so much trouble. So b prepared for another gathering, also, they said something about the moonpool, i assume that means she has gotten her nine lives, so lets be sure to give her the support she needs when she shows up to the gathering as the guest of honor!"

Puresun quickly slapped her tail over his mouth (causing him to sneeze) and said hastily, "We'll just be leaving now. Nice to see you."
[She nudged Guardianpaw forward with her head, pushing him away sternly. He complained loudly but trudged after her, throwing a hateful glance back at Dragonfire before trotting home with Puresun.]

The calico she-cat looked down at her paws to see one of Rainface's kits from her second litter, Rosekit. Cherypaw purred, and smiled slightly.]"Hello, Rosekit. Rainface was my mommy too! Well, adoptive mommy, my parents died when I was still a kit. I'm Cherrypaw, would you like to play?"[The apprentice looked down at her paws awkwardly, because of who Rosekit's real father was.]"Whatever you do, don't you dare mention Darkshadow, or Redfur. But you'll always be my hero, even though you lost your mind. _______ [Rainface stared awkwardly at the tom in front of her. She never enjoyed his company, or liked him as a cat. But he always made her feel... Dare she say loved, or happy. Even beautiful.]"Why do you even bother with me? I'm like, a million moons younger then you, I'm as hideous as ever, and I've already got two litters, of kits. Sadly.."[She said, saying the word sadly in a whisper. She only ever regretted the second litter, but loved them regardless. She was about to say more, but then Ravenwing decided pressing his cheek up against her was a good idea. [Ravenwing pulled back from Rainface with a shocked and hurt expression on his face. Did she just say she was a million moons younger than him? Was she saying he was...old? Ravenwing made a mental note to check himself in a puddle later, to make sure that his dashing good looks weren't fading away with age just yet. He was still young, his joints still felt supple and flexible, so he wasn't getting old yet...right?]
"That was a mean thing to say, I don't feel that old yet. You've had two litters, but I haven't had any kits yet."
[He tried to laugh off what she said, hoping it worked well as a joke.]
"You're kidding right? Hideous? Where?"
[He walked a quick circle around her, as if looking for the hideousness that Rainface mentioned. It was a joke of course, but he didn't find her hideous - not at all. In fact, she was a lot prettier than she gave herself credit for, and all he had to do was make her realise that beauty underneath.]
"You know, the lily is a delicate plant. They rarely bloom, but when given the chance and at the right time, they are the most beautiful flowers seen in the woods."
[He gave Rainface an encouraging smile as he spoke, taking a few moments to think up that line - and he thought it was pretty good...hopefully it should lift her spirits and stop her from moping.]

He stretched in his nest, licking away at any gray fur that was sticking out. In the dim lighting he could make out the sleeping figure of his sister, Griffonsea. She seemed so peaceful when she was asleep, hiding away how she really felt. The gray tom already knew of his mother's death...he was actually trying to get some sleep to get his mind off it.] It didn't work... [Freezeshadow thought sullenly. Griffonsea reminded him to much of Moss-star. With a sigh and one last stretch of his legs he padded out into the open and see what was going on. Dragonfire's call woke him up in the first place, which annoyed him. It made Freezeshadow wonder how Griffonsea could block out the 'gladiator's' yowl.] Shiftpelt...she will be nothing Moss-star... [He thought defiantly and stalked away from Dragonfire. Even if she was made deputy, he would still treat her as he always had before. Nothing else seemed to interest the gray warrior. Ravenwing is trying to flirt again, Cherrypaw and Rosekit were chatting as if having a good time...all nonsense to him. His green gaze darted back to the destroyed warrior's den before he padded casually to the fresh-kill pile, picking up a stringy looking mouse. Freezeshadow wasn't feeling that hungry, therefore this mouse would suffice. He finished it up in two gulps surprisingly. Looks like his stomach disagreed with his mind. But he didn't care. As much as he would like to go back to sleep he decided to stay in the open, doing as Dragonfire said and prepare himself for another gathering.] So much has happened, so much bad in the world...nothing, nothing will ever be the same... To grow up and become who you really are" [SeaClan camp was magnificent as always. The sun was brightly shining upon the ocean's skin and glittering with brilliant colour. What more could Shiftstar ask for? However the absence of her leader was making her nervous. This was her first duty to carry out the gathering. Any mistake can cause a drastic change, possibly effecting any lives.
That shouldn't bother her at a time like this. The slayers aren't going to wait, which causes Shiftstar to start moving. SeaClan will make it to the Gathering without a single scratch. The three Clans will await them. The she-cat made her way to the entrance of the camp, taking a moment to rethink her destiny. No, her loss. What could come to her? Violence, bloodshed or just the wonderful ray of bright light she desparately looks for in a dark area?
With a deep sigh, she turned her head around to gaze at the clan. This is SeaClan! Moss-star will look down at them with proud golden eyes. Eyes that are bright enough to give light to this clan without the sun's help. For Moss-star, we must do this!] "SeaClan, let us attend the gathering like true SeaClan warriors! Warriors watch over the elders, queens and their beloved kits!" she yowled proudly.   To be nobody but yourself in a world

It's pretty easy to spot out, since it's like, all over my face."[She said, pointing at her face with her tail tip. When the calico she-cat ask if she wanted to play, Rosekit nodded her head.] "Oh yes Ms. Cherrypaw. I would love to play with you!" [Jumping onto Cherrypaw's foreleg, she playfully swatted at Cherrypaw's ear. Though she didn't even hit her, she still kept on trying. When Shiftpelt's voice roared over the noise, Rosekit fell to the ground and looked up at Cherrypaw.] "Can you walk with momma and me? She'll be very much happy Ms. Cherrypaw." She had hoped to keep a vow of silence for her mother for as long as she could, but her best was only a day. She had always been one to talk and it was almost impossible for her not to. Besides, bottling it all up was even harder...what a failure she was!
She glanced over at Rosekit and Cherrypaw, a wistful look in her eyes, before she stumbled away, following.
Shiftstar had returned and named Dragonfire deputy. Griffonsea had been happy for her friend, but felt a twinge of pain. A long time ago (only six days, in actuality), she had hoped to become leader of SeaClan one day, like her mother. It was just another thing she failed to achieve, another dream crushed by her own worthless and pitiful actions.
What a bother.
Griffonsea trudged after Shiftstar, eyes glued to the ground as she walked. She had refused to eat anything at all. It didn't matter- there was no food anyway; all the fish refused to come near the shore or the river, and all land prey had disappeared. Nevertheless, she was much too skinny and had lost weight at an alarming rate.
From any cat's eyes, it was obvious she was dying of grief.
To Griffonsea, it was just another shameful weakness.
She raised her eyes to the sky, contemplating what she saw; the dark clouds were covering any stars, giving a cold and ominous feel. More pain and suffering to come, eh? It riddled her with deeper depression, and she started trudging again, eyes containing a hollow, dull look.]
