Sammy fell from seemingly no where in the sky, hopping on Vixen and flying lazily beside the group. "Yo! What's going on?" she asked, her tail twitching idly back and forth.

~Felix Felix gave a silent nod to his partner Sneasel as MK raced off after the Houndour that Adie sent out. The least he could do to return her unnecessary acts of charity was at least help her catch one of the rampaging Pokemon behind them.

Adam laughed, "No problem Adie." He called, looking to Sammy. "Hey! Flying Pokemon are cheating!" He pouted, some of the Tauros catching up to the group. Looks like they hated the orange of Arcanines as much as red...

Sammy stuck out her bottom lip, confused. She returned Vixen, instead dashing on foot. Her pink tail fluttered behind her; she was just as fast as the pokemon they were riding, as her hybridness allowed. "Is this better, cutie?" she asked, winking at Adam. She had no clue what was going on, but she saw a mad Tuaros eyeing her tail. She raised an eye brow, confused.

Houndour had a one track mind once her mistress told her to do something, and so at first she didn't even notice as the Sneasel showed up to help her isolate one of the rampaging pokemon. However, once she did realize that he was there to help her, the pokemon barked to him, formulating a sort of pincer attack to get one of the small herd members that broke off by itself so Adie could make a capture.
Meanwhile, on the back of Arcanine with her newest friend Felix, Adelle smiled and waves as Sammy made an appearance. Before she could really say anything, however, she noticed some of the Tauros getting closer than she was really comfortable with, even if she was on Arcanine's back. Glancing to the side, she saw Houndour succeed in causing a male to break off from the herd, the blue haired girl springing into action, quite literally.
"I'll catch up. Keep going Arcanine," she called over the sounds of the stampede, giving the rest of the team a small wink as she stood on the back of her pokemon, a show of balance and trust the pair worked on a lot while they were training. Jumping and rolling forwards as she left the back of her pokemon, Arcanine continued forwards with the rest of the group with his own orders, Adie ready to make her next capture. She was able to dip, duck and dodge her way through stampeding brown bodies of muscle and power, arriving in time to see Houndour keeping the female backed against the fence with a combination of Roar and Ember attacks.
"Good job Houndour! Let's get it," she called out as she arrived on the battle scene.

Arekku after a few more successful lands Zoey was getting a little tired so Arekku though it'd be best to give her a rest, as he was about to return his pokemon a Tauros unexpectantly spun around and slammed into his back tossing him into a, luckily, sturdy fence. Arekku seemed dazed as the single Tauros came running after him. Zoey tried her best to send a Supersonic it's way, but all attempts failed. Finally, Zoey flew in front of the pokemon and was able to convince it to turn with a super effective Wing Attack.

Sammy grimaced, looking around. She returned Adie's wave, also adding a wave to Felix, but tried to stay light on her toes. This wasn't hard, luckily enough for her. "Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" she begged, not wanting to get run over by a Tuaros.

~FelixFelix let out a sigh as he was left alone, although the beast that he was on kept moving.. Afraid to jump off he simply remained in his seat, hoping Adie was at least safe... Meanwhile, MK, seeing most of the action was already taken care of in the battle against the Tauros, did the best he could to help out with what was left, unleashing layer upon layer of Powder Snow attacks at the feet of the brown beast creating a slick barrier between the Tauros and Adie's Houndour. Hopefully limiting the bull-like Pokemon's ability to use physical attacks.

"What's It look like? We're playing Scrabble!" Adam called down to Sammy jokingly, "We're in the Olivine Running of the Tauros." Adam looking towards Adie's balance act. "And on that note-" Adam Smirked, "So long slowpokes!" He called out, nudging Megiddo. The Arcanine gave a playful roar, rocketing in front of the pack with Extremespeed. "Waaaa-HOoooooo!!!"

Sammy sweatdropped, looking up at Adam. From her observations, though, it seemed that the group was simply trying to slow the bulls for some reason. Why? Well, she guessed that didn't matter. She shrugged, ready to play some Scrabble.
Sammy leapt from the ground, coming to a small group of Tuaros. She released a Cotton Spore which clung to their hoofs and fur to slow them down, and making it harder for them to move around. Sammy looked up at Felix who was on a pokemon but didn't seem to be doing anything. She shot him a questioning glance.

Houndour rushed behind her mistress, growling lowly as she prepared to leap into battle, the Tauros getting over the initial fear inspired by the roar attack and pawing the ground with her hoof. Sneasel helped by releasing several Powder Snow attacks on the ground between herself and the rampaging Tauros, the wild pokemon rushing forwards in an attempted Horn Attack, only to slip and hit the ground hard. Houndor, seizing advantage of the downed Pokemon released a powerful Flamethrower, the force of the fire stream hitting the Tauros enough to throw it back into the fence again.
The Scary Face attack that followed caused Houndour's speed to lower sharply, though it turned out to be relatively unimportant. Houndour responded with a Smog Attack, the dust kicked up by the kicking wild pokemon nothing compared to the purple, noxious gas that surrounded her after Houndour's attack. As it dispersed, the poisoned pokemon tried to rush forwards in a Take Down, but slipped once more as a result of Sneasel's help. Once it hit the ground the second time, Adie pulled an Aqua Ball from her bag, throwing it at the downed pokemon and holding her breath as the Tauros disappeared in a flash of red light. She hoped the pokemon wouldn't struggle too hard - she didn't want to see it battle anymore since she could tell it was tired. Thankfully, her silent prayer was answered, the ball no longer shaking and laying still.
"Good job guys," she said with a bright smile, Houndour moving over and retrieving the pokeball for her while Adie knelt down, patting Sneasel's head with a bright smile.
"You guys going to be able to catch up with the others," she asked, grinning as she already knew the answer. The Aquan took off in a run after the rest of the group, hoping to catch up with them in no time. She was quick on her feet, that was for sure, but it would help if she had a pokemon to help her along. Especially since there were several Tauros heading her way that were slightly behind the main herd. If they caught up to her too quickly, she would be in for a rough run indeed. As the Tauros continued to close in on her, Adie's chest starting to heave from running for so long, she suddenly got an idea.
"Rhydon! Help," she called out as soon as she released the ground-type, the girl flinging herself onto his back. In a strange sort of piggyback ride, Rhydon's powerful legs propelled them forward. He might be slower than some of the other pokemon being used, but he had power in his run, and they were able to at least make some tracks between the Tauros behind them. It wasn't long before they could see the group in the distance ahead of them, Houndour blowing fire towards Tauros on either side that got too close for comfort. Rhydon grunted with each powerful stride, his mistress yelling encouragements over the sound of the run to keep him moving.

~FelixWith a smile Felix turned around on the Arcanine's back and waved to Sammy who was staring at him awkwardly. Moments later the young boy's eye caught sight of Adelle racing through the pack of Tauros... On a Rhydon? Although she was getting decent speed it still looked odd; MK also running alongside of her helping fend off the racing behemoths.

Sammy passed a giant sign that said "Olivine City's 56th Running of from the Tauros"
Adam looked back at his comrades, feeling a good distance ahead. "Good job Mej." He praised, patting the Arcanine on the head. The pokemon decided that would be a good time to stop in the middle of the track, sit down and start wagging it's tail. Like a puppy that's just been scratched behind the ears. "Ack! Don't stop!" Adam called, As The other Aquans caught up and started to pass him, along with a few Tauros. Megiddo sat blissfully unawares.

Sammy grinned at Felix, then seeing the sign. "Oh!" she grinned. She bounced on one of the Tuaros's backs, hopping from each pokemon to the next. She started coughing uncontrollably at one point, though, and had to stop in the middle of the ravaging. Although her hybridization allowed her to have the speed of a pokemon and the jumping abilities of one, too, she still had her coughing fits. She sighed, getting up and racing off again. She used a few Cotton Spores here and there, trying to lessen the amount of Tuaros that she had to be wary of.

Adelle, despite being the one riding in this little race, was getting out of breath from the awkward movements of piggybacking on a Rhydon. They were slowly but surely getting closer to the group.
"Come on Rhydon! Just close enough for me to get back on Arcanine. Then you can get a rest," she called out, the ground pokemon trying to lengthen his strides. The sooner this was over, the sooner he could rest - he was never meant for long distance running like this. The pair passed the unconscious form of Tommy on a side fence, apparently passing out from the overexertion of running. She could send Rhydon back for him when she got on Arcanine. If this was a race, then she was going to win.
As soon as she got close enough, Adelle brought her fingers to her lips, releasing a loud whistle that caused Arcanine's ears to perk up and turn his head. Slowing his pace and veering to the side, the blue-haired Aquan jumped from the back of Rhydon onto Arcanine's back, flopping into a sitting position behind Felix. Her breathing was elevated, cheeks flushed, but it still looked like she was having the time of her life.
"Rhydon, go back at get Tommy, if you don't mind. Meet us at the finish line, but there's no rush," she instructed, turning to Felix and giving him a soft wink with a laugh. Rhydon, while he didn't look thrilled at his assignment moved back to get their unconscious comrade, simply pushing his way through the Tauros. Without Adie on his back, he could rely on durability over anything else. Turning to her riding companion, she gave another low whistle as Arcanine took off at full speed once more, tongue lolling to the side of his mouth as they passed Adam and his Arcanine.
"Better luck next time," she called back to the winged Aquan, sticking her tongue out at him playfully as they continued on towards the end of the course. Houndour jumped on Adam's head as she passed them, vaulting off his Arcanine's head as well before running after Adie once more. It was all in good fun.
"You doing alright Felix? Sneasel was awesome. He really helped out, thanks," she said with a smile, pulling out her new pokemon, safe inside the Aquaball to show that she was successful, thanks to his efforts.
