She looks up at Psy with a bit of a confused expression.

"Regrets? Yeah, I do have some regrets....but what kind of friend would I have been to Icy if I hadn't done something to help her?"

She chuckles, "My life is full of regrets Psy...opportunities lost, friends and lovers gone, a father I never knew existed and now I don't even know if he lives. But I don't regret meeting you, or our friendship. You gave me a new life, even though I still manage to get sucked back into my old one every now and then."

*What Katana says really resonates with her. She and Katana have an extraordinary number of things in common in many respects and some life parallels they share. She starts to get choked up and tears form in her eyes. She values Katana's friendship as well and she is happy she had a hand in giving her good friend a new life. Katana deserved it. She manages to nod at Katana, opens a drawer in her desk, grabs a tissue and dabs at her eyes.*

*shrugs* I guess that depends on your view of marriage and who should rightfully be blamed for indiscretions.

*stands up to get a glass of water, then returns to his seat, having a drink before he continues*
Ryzan and Tes... er... Tes being Ryzan's husband... have been married for a while, but their marriage was originally just a way to get Tes out of trouble. rolleyes I don't know the full details of it. Can't say I was really that interested. The point is, they weren't married because they love each other, and for a long time, they weren't even a "couple".

It wasn't until a few months ago that they started actually becoming involved, but the jerk never took him out on any dates or anything. Probably too embarrassed or something since he used to be straight. rolleyes Then recently he got into some legal troubles and took off to try to avoid them, leaving Ryzan behind by himself... and that's when I met him.

I started taking Ryzan out on dates and I like to think that we could get into something good in enough time. I'm the one who initiated it, but Ryzan could have just as well refused to humor me. We've only kissed a few times and not much else, but some might find that "fist in the face" worthy. *shrugs* I say if he really cared enough for the man to not want anyone else to hook up with him, then he would be here instead of taking off like a coward.

She smiles, glad Psy isn't too torn up over her emotional troubles. She did mean what she said to Psy....she cared about her greatly, and would do anything for her.

She did have some loose ends to tie up, however, and needs Brat to come by so they can get some sort of gameplan together. Until she knew for sure that L was completely out of the picture, and that no other former employers or the Russians were going to call in any more favors, there was no way she consider herself fully retired.

She stands up from her seat and stretches.

"Well, I would say I'd join you for a drink, but I'm really beat tonight. I think I'll call it an early evening and I'll talk to you tomorrow."

*She stands up, goes over the Katana, hugs her and kisses both sides of her face.* Alright. You try and get some sleep. We will talk more tomorrow. I'm going out to the Bar to check up on things. Sleep well. *She grins at Katana and sees Ryzan enter.* No problem Ryzan. We just finished up. *She smiles at Ryzan and heads out to the Main Bar.*

She smiles at Ryzan.

"You're not interrupting a thing, Ryzan. I'm just calling it an early night is all."

"Psy, thanks....for everything. wink "

She returns Psy's hug and gives a wave to Ryzan before heading down to her quarters.

Raz turned a head slowly over her shoulder when she heard Psy clear her throat. She raised her fingers up to block the smile that had crept onto her lips.
"Oh dear me, our consperecy seems to have been rooted out before the plan came to flourition." There was a tease in her voice, it was hard to tell if it was the last statement that she was joking about, or if she was just making fun of herself for being so 'careless' with information. When Psy sat down and informed her of the interest she had in the cathedrial she smiled a little.
"Its about a thirty minute drive east of here on the highway. Its in the next city over, but if you do decide to take it, the church will be paid for in full, so you won't have to worry about renting it." Raz closed her eyes and a solumn look came over her face. "It was the place that I wanted to get married at, but my groom left me as soon as he could. I hope that you have more success in your marriage arrangement than I was, Miss Psy. If you want, I can give you written instructions on how to get there. And believe me... its big enough to accomidate three huge and full families if need be. It over looks a beautiful lake thats great for wedding pictures too..."
Raz trailed off her words and exhailed heavily. She opened her eyes and looked at Psy again. "I think... that you'll love it as much as I once did..."
