"Sneaking?! I resent that, Miss, because I was investigating, you see. Large difference. It's just wiser to sneak while investigating than to boldy tromp in and let yourself be known. What would be the point of an investigation if the investigated knew he or she was being investigated?" He paused for a few seconds, counting how many times he'd said the word, 'investigate.'
"Five. Anyways, I apologize for giving you a start. I felt a chakra presense out here and decided to investigate. Six. Mmh. Would you like something to eat?"

Iri blinks. Then she brings her free hand to her face to muffle her laughter. "Investigating, huh? Well, I apologize if I offended you. As for food, that sounds like a good idea."
She gets to her feet, slipping the kunai onto a belt loop as she does. Something in the corner of her eye catches her attention. A very big and shiny something. She raises an eyebrow and turns to face it. "Seph, what's that? I can't sense chakra signatures, so I'm clueless."

"Offended? Not at all!" He grinned, then followed her gaze. "That would be Sage. Sage and.." He paused, blinking. "Some squirrels. I'd ask if he wanted food too, but alas, he looks quite busy."

"Sage and squirrels? I think he did something to those things. The squirrels around here are smarter than what any rodent should be." She looks skyward for a moment, her expression contemplative. Then she gives a wing shrug. "Oh wells. So, to the dojo?"

Seph took one giant step towards her, close enough to lean in and whisper. "I wouldn't call them 'rodents' if I were you." He started making circular motions with his hands, "They're smart, alright, but they're full of vengeance, too." He winked, then clapped, "To the Dojo!"

Iri's eyes widen. "Are you joking?" She looks around, trying to determine if any squirrels are near enough to hear her as she mutters. "Please tell me you're joking, because those things could do some damage in numbers."
She turns in the direction of the dojo and starts to walk.

Seph grinned, "Well, I've had a few of them drop acorns on my head, but I've never seen them organize."
Seph followed her towards the dojo. "Any preferences?"

I have seen them organize. Thankfully, it wasn't against me.
"Eh, no real preference. I'll eat anything but seafood."
Iri's hand strays to her kunai. She runs her fingers over the steel. Quite a bit of her chakra had been passed to the weapon. It should recognize her as the wielder now. Maybe she'll try it out later. She's curious to see how well it works. Though she doesn't doubt it will be interesting, considering it was Sage who worked on it.

"Sweet iced tea. Nothing beats that." That answer comes quickly and with conviction. If Iri likes anything, she likes sweet tea. But it has to be cold. Hot tea is weird to her.
Iri slips through the dojo doors and heads for the kitchen. "You want me to help cook? I'm not half bad at it."

"There's that strange kind of tea again. Sweet? What do you want me to do? Just add sugar?" He grinned, thinking he'd made a joke. "I wouldn't mind in the least if you helped cook! You're probably a better cook than me by default anyway, I learned by trial and error. Many a good meals were lost that way."

"Most of what I know is simple recipes one can do in a skillet on a camp fire. Nothing fancy. As for the tea, it's just a common drink from my home region. All you do is add sugar and ice cubes to normal tea."
Iri walks into the kitchen. She notices Neko and gives him a warm smile and a respectful bow. "Hello."
