Because you claim there is nothing unique to coruscant. Yet the sheer fact that the entire planet happens to be an entire city, no farms or nothing, along with the fact it has the largest population in the entire universe for a planet as well as being the key factor of who maintains control in the goverment all speak well against that claim. And coruscant happens to be the most fought over planet in times of jihad, as well, making it rather unique.
It's more like Washington D.C. than NYC, anyways.

I'm playing Overlord for the 2nd time through. Last time I went 100% Corruption. This time I'm going 0%.
Even playing the valiant hero, I still get to wreck up the place.
Hmm... Chaotic Good - Who said being the good guy was boring?
