"Sure." Maddy responded, lighting up a cigarette and taking a long draw. She exhaled a puff of smoke, watching the grey cloud drift up into the sky and vanish.
She realized she had been smoking a lot, lately. There were still things stressing her out.
"So, anything exciting happen lately?" She asked, wanting to at least keep some sort of conversation going.
Her green eye flickered brilliantly in the moonlight that shone from in between Lumiose's tall buildings.

The sound of two baby Larvitars rough housing woke Michael up from his sleep. He wandered into the hallway and headed down the stairs...head first. Still being half asleep he had missed the first and second steps and went tumbling down the stairwell. After a couple of minutes to let the world stop spinning, Michael headed outside to get some fresh air and let Squirt out of his pokeball for a little stretch. When he got outside he noticed others were there, including Maddy and Allen and some other guy who he had never met before. "Uh evenin' y'all."

Maddy was sitting out on her back porch, sipping on a cold glass of lemonade. It was a gorgeous day out and very hot. She wiped a bit of sweat from her brow and took another sip of her drink.
"I wonder how everyone is doing..."

Dark sits down at the kitchen table. He had just made himself a large breakfast and was sitting down to eat.
"Four eggs over-easy, six pieces of toast, 1/4 pound of bacon and a nice side of hash browns." He smiles, and begins sprinkling pepper over his food. Then he puts hot sauce on the eggs before he starts eating.

Maddy woke up to the smell of breakfast. She got dressed and followed the smell downstairs to find the kitchen was now empty and breakfast-less.
"Damn phantom smells..." She mumbled, making herself a cup of tea.

"Oh, hey babe." Dark greets her as he walks into the kitchen with a large box. Based on the smell and writing on the side it seems he picked up a feast of Chinese food. "Hungry?" He asks as he places the box on the table and begins digging through it.

Maddy eyed the box of food for a few seconds but then shrugged.
"I'm not really hungry... I live off tea." She told Dark, having a sip of her tea. She frowned a little; it wasn't sweet enough. She leaned against the counter as she spooned more sugar into her drink.
"Thanks though." She stared down into her tea as she mixed the sugar in, hungrily waiting for it to dissolve.
"I want to get out of the house and do something."

Dark makes a large pile of various things on a plate. He then grabs one a styrofoam container from the box and walks off to watch TV. He sits down on the couch after putting his plate and container down and opens the container. Its full of sweet n sour sauce. He pick an eggroll off the plate with his hand and dunks it in before taking a bite.
"Mmm I haven't had Chinese food in awhile."

Maddy was sitting on one end of the couch in her living room, peering closely into a small handheld mirror. She was trying to hold the eyelids of her left eye open as she examined it intently.
"Hmmm... I swear that wasn't there before..." She muttered, frowning slightly.

Maddy jumped as Dark spoke up. How long had she even been sitting there staring at her eye? Had she even blinked? Her eyes felt dry.
She ran up to him and leaned in close to his face.
"There's a thing!"
On the bottom right edge of her iris was a small dot. It looked like a regular part of her eye, except instead of being green it was sky blue. When the light struck it at the right angle, it would develop a rainbow sheen. It was too small to notice from a distance though.
"A thing!!!!"

"Weird." He shrugs. "Almost looks like a shard of glass or something... But it's definitely part of your eye..."

Maddy sighed and put her mirror away.
"I'm starting to get sick of my eye..." She said, rubbing at it and slapping her eye patch on. "Know any good specialists?"
Maybe she could get her eye replaced me a robotic one. Or just get a plain glass eye. At least she wouldn't really have to worry about hiding it so much if she got rid of it.
She went to the kitchen to pour herself a cup of tea. "Let's do something!" She called out.

The refrigerator door closed shut when Maddy walked into the kitchen. Caleb's Marshtomp stood there blinking, a mouthful of food and even more food in his arms. He moved his arm to wave, only to stop and scramble to keep the food in his arms from falling all over the floor.
Caleb came out of the bathroom adjusting his glasses. He had just finished washing his face and cleaning up the extra water he had left after. He spotted his Marshtomp and pursed his lips. "I said to wait..." he said quietly. The Marshtomp just grinned sheepishly in reply.

Maddy was sitting on the couch in her living room, her laptop in her lap. She seemed to be flicking through news reports, a frown on her face.
"Hmm..."
Her male Kirlia, Sydonis, was standing in the corner of the room, just silently watching over his trainer.
