Squirt began swimming as fast as he could, giving Sammy barely any time to grab onto the rope. She encouraged her pokemon, yowling to him and yipping excitedly. "Go, Squirt!" she cried with glee, feeling the wind whipping at her face. Squirt gave a mischevious grin; he planned to wipe out before the end without Sammy's knowing. He would wait to see where Jack and Adam were, though.

Jack and Adam were pulling ahead, Buizel's twin propellers helping him out greatly. He turned his head to see, to his surprise, Sammy catching up to him. "Heh, see you at the finish line!"

Sammy grinned at Adam, giving him a thumbs-up. It was then that Squirt purposely threw himself onto the raft along with Sammy, causing the whole thing to spin around before toppling to one side. Sammy and Squirt fell out of it, caught under the raft. She glanced over at him, trying to curse him, but she found it better to focus on trying to get the raft back afloat. Dangit; that meant she was out of the race..

Adam glanced back in time to see a rapidly spinning Sammy. "Whoa!" He spread his wings causing his raft to continue without him as he hovered for a seconds before reaching out and trying to steady Sammy. It was more instinctual reaction then that she was in any danger.

Sammy, from the water, jumped onto the raft and then saw Adam. She pushed him towards his raft. "Hurry, or else you'll loose!" she yowled, trying to get him to go back his raft. She glared at Squirt, then laughed at him. "Nice one, bud," she said, coughing and sputtering before giving him a high five.

Adam smiled, before rolling his eyes, he flew up above the buildings, spotting Jack still racing with the others behind him. Before Adam could do anything Jack crossed the finish line. "Wha-?" He watched as Jack jumped from the canal, shaking off.
"Umm, I don't think I won." Adam said chuckling slightly as he Glided back down to Sammy's level.

Sammy chuckled a bit, shaking her head. She coughed a bit. "Niiiiiiice, Adam. Nice." Squirt jumped onto Sammy's back, clinging to her shoulders. Sammy waded through the water and onto level ground, shaking the water from her limbs.

Adam sat on the edge of the canal, looking up at Sammy. "Yeah..."
Jack walked up to them second later, a medal around his neck and a cadre of girls around him. "Alright ladies, this is where I leave you."
"AWWWW... Jacky!" The girls moved away from Jack.
"I can't believe you <.<" Adam said, staring at his pokemon.

Sammy smiled at Jack, winking at him. "I'm just a few doors down, y'know~" she chimed, licking her lips then sitting down on the ground. "Ugh..." she groaned, leaning her head from side to side.

Jack smirked, sitting down in Adam's lap and curling up, looking lazily up at the two trainers. "Oh, but you're perfectly fine being a dog?" Adam questioned. The Buizel shrugged. "What's the matter, Tired?" Adam asked Sammy.

Sammy used Jack as an artificial pillow, leaning over on his shoulder. She nodded a bit. "I don't know why-- I haven't done anything. Oh well. Whaddya wanna do now?" she asked.

"You ate it pretty hard." Adam joked. "Hmmmm... I dun' know. It's your turn to choose." He said, kicking the water lazily.

Sammy shook her head. "Nuh-uh, I've been complaining all day so I loose priveledges. You've been a good boy; you choose," she said, poking his head.

Adam had no clue where to go, "Why don't we just hang here?" They had a great view of the ocean opening up from the canal. "I'm to lazy to go anywhere else."

"Okay, hubby," she joked, moving away from him just a tiny bit. Squirt walked off a ways, wading into the cool water. Sammy sighed, not sure what to do.
