Apparently the rest of the world thinks America is cool again now that Obama is president-elect.
Just proving America isn't any dumber than the rest of the world xp

Thanatos_M Apparently the rest of the world thinks America is cool again now that Obama is president-elect. Just proving America isn't any dumber than the rest of the world xp I think it's more along the lines of they're thrilled Bush is outta office and the Republicans no longer run the country...that's why I'm happy anyways.

Bush isn't out of office yet. He's still got a couple months to really make s**t better or worse. Partisan politics suck.

I foresee open revolt and mass assassinations on Bush were he to actually do anything other breath and sleep for the rest of his term. xd

I see the opposite. Since there's so little time left until Obama takes over, he can do pretty much anything and people will be able to expect Obama to fix it. Short of making any direct attempt to alter Obama's plans and visions, Bush can go all out on anything he's been waiting to do for the last 8 years.
And dammit make up your mind! Are you Teg or Jim, dammit!?

Tegral's trying to remake his image. Change his physical features, slim down a bit to be less (as Kai put it) male, change the color of his hair and eyes to disassociate himself with the Admiral he use to be. In a psychological point of view Tegral was once a happier individual, he's just using a bit of drink to numb himself to what he's been doing these past several decades or so, and now that he doesn't have to fight all the time he's trying to revert back to that persona.
All in such he can't very well change how others, and his own self, perceives him by remaining Tegral that everyone can immediate associate him with the Admiral and by that the atrocities he's been committing. So he's changing his name...or rather simply rediscovering his old name.
Ladies and gentlemen meet Leighton Mathews, son of Roy and Debora Mathews. Born on Artis IV in mid-September and lived the first 17 years of his human life on his parent's farm growing the local equivalent of wheat. After he turned 18 he joined the service in the form of a pvt. in the Galactic Marines, served until he was 30 and was drafted into the cybernetics program after receiving major bodily injuries.
