"Well, I've had my ups and downs, but ultimately? I've been good." He smiled. While he was technically lying, he didn't want to bring down his own mood. He was back in control of his own body. He hadn't felt this good since-.. Well, he hadn't felt this good in a while.
He looked over to Nyl.
"Can't remember the last time I saw you smile like that, buddy."

She nodded holding open her arms for Fuji. Kohyoh enjoyed it when Fuji was a snowleopard kitten.

Iri looks appalled. "You haven't even been feeding yourself! If you had used your nose, you would have found food in here."
Once again, Iri reaches into her travel bag. Out of years of habit, she still keeps non-perishable food stuffs in there. She knows those habits will pay off for more than instances like this some day. This time she pulls out a small box. In the box is a stash of jerky and trail mix. She holds out the box for Psyche to take. "Eat or I shall sit on you."

Psyche took the box and started to munch. Being sat on was a serious threat. Iri looked scrawny, but what she had was muscle. And she knew how to apply her weight. Oh well. At least I get food in bed.

Yuki spotted Drake sipping his Ale from the couch. With a sour look she shunpoed in front of him, snatch the ale, slapped him, then took a big sip herself.

Kohyoh stared at Drake for a moment, her mouth slightly open in thought. His motions and mumbles tale tale signs.
"Mr.Drake can't handle his ale?.." She whispered into Fuji's soft kitten ear.

Seph moved over and leaned against the back of the couch, crossing his arms. He watched Drake walk in and nodded his head to the side, as if asking, 'Everything okay?'
"Letting time works it's magic on that one, or would you mind if I tried making up for my own stupidity by helping the healing process along?" He glanced to her hand, then looked back to Drake.
"Drake..? Are you alright?"

"It wasn't your stupidity, Seph. And I think it's a good lesson that every so often I can still get burned." She smiled lightly at him, waving away his offer. "Thanks, but it won't be necessary. One can always use more practice in being patient."

Yuki gave Drake a look of death. She grabbed him by his hair and stared him in the eyes, waving it in his face. "You just got off this stuff, and after bonking your head multiple times in the forest... you want to drink again? Hell no!"
