The Darth Vizzle I don't really get up in arms when I see the two political parties trying to slander or burn each other. It's not like either is even remotely better than the other. They're both full of goddamn morons the likes of which should never be allowed in control of anything more than a ******** pencil sharpener. Obama? ******** failure. Palin? Stupid b***h. Clinton? Retard. Bush Jr? Jerk-off. Almost every president back to, and including, FDR has really not been all that great, because all of them contribute to the single most notable failure of the two political parties, and that is the expansion of federal powers. FDR is especially at fault for that, but it really has nothing to do with his party affiliation. Hell, you can go even further back. Prohibition, and so forth. And it's not just the president either, it's the fault of Congress and the Senate. The consistent rise of federal power over the past 100ish years has, and will, inevitably, ******** America over. Our government was not meant to have a massive, bureaucratic federal government with so much clout. Playing into either party's political agenda, or voting for either party, is patently ignoring the basis on which the American government (both state and federal) was formed. Thank you! America was founded upon limited government and individual liberty. I don't see the Bill of Rights as a charter of negative liberties at all. Woodrow Wilson needs to be included in the s**t-list too.

Rhoslyn Vernal Lolli, I'd tell you to read your post, but... "Is Sarah Palin really stupid? She's making mad bank for saying whatever she's told to say." Because as we all know, parroting opinions is a sign of unshakable genius. Well, it's a good idea. I mean, in about ten years she can probably disappear off of the public scene with out anybody remembering who she was with a small fortune. I mean, knowing that I'd do it since being an "intellectual" usually means asking mom for pizza money.

You can include a lot of presidents in the list, from both parties. Especially in the past fifty years, where it has become commonplace to pretty much d**k off and have the federal government control a bunch of s**t they shouldn't control.
See: Abortion rights, legal smoking age, legal drinking age, gay marriage laws, etc. The federal government is meant to have the powers expressly outlined in the Constitution unless there's some sort of an emergency, such as when Lincoln emancipated the slaves, which was an act that could be considered for the betterment of mankind, and therefore was acceptable.
Everything else should fall to the States, really, unless it's a national concern like trade, war, currency, international policy, and certain universal laws like the outlawing of murder, kidnapping, and so forth. Otherwise, the states should handle it unless the federal government is ASKED to step in.

Although your opinion is inherently flawed, I'm just fixing that you don't realize that Lincoln is the first president to expand federal powers. I'm also not going to explain why I think your opinion is flawed because I'm too lazy to type out as much as you did. @Lollipop: yes, Sarah Palin is STUPID. Did you not watch the debate between her and Joe Biden? She's beyond stupid, she's inept

You can't be stupid and be able to advance far in the political world. I don't know, maybe it's because I don't buy into the show and realize what kind of strategy being used. She's doing what she's being told to do, and she's making a lot of money off of it.

Winning a Nobel prize doesn't require the same skills as being a politician.
Bush Jr. isn't stupid regardless of what you would like to think. If you actually look into him, he's very well read, has a very solid educational background, and his administration has pushed more of its legislation through than anyone else since LBJ.
I mean, it's ok to not like the guy or his policy positions, but he took advantage of the situations around him and seized power from Congress like no other.

I prefer to think of Bush as "stupid" than "evil".
But, if you insist, I'm perfectly willing to agree that son of a b***h was evil.
EDIT: Either way, Ross - 1, Lolli - 0.

You mean how Bush used a signing veto to rewrite what Congress/Senate sent him, against the Constitution?

Does this guild really not have the traditional "Don't argue about politics and let's all get along" safeguard that most places have?
You know, the one that coincides with the "no one gives a ********" stipulation?
*sigh*
Well, not like I don't expect something like this to come up now. Continue.
