I see. I figure she has a more Humanoid form rather than the reptilian torso, tail, and hair? I've always been big on mythologies, but I must admit I know more about Gaelic and Norseman mythologies than I do of the extremely complicated Greek and Roman mythologies. Thus, when I saw someone as a Gorgon I was intrigued.
EDIT: I also like Five Finger Death Punch, but a friend of mine in this guild introduced me to them and likes them way more than me. I have no idea where he is currently, though. I generally listen to Classical.

There are speculations on Gorgons. Medusa was the most famous. But there are a subclass of Gorgons, those that are gorgon all the time, and those that can disguise their appearance. I forgot WHERE it comes from, but I combined both Greek and.. whatever legend I am thinking so that Demonia's true form does have a tail and snake like skin but can appear human when desired.
Herro Raven. :3 Nice ta' meetcha.

I love parody videos. Now, if they would do one about Taylor Swift's giant huge fartbox I think I could die happy.

Nerd Rant: Begin
I think the ability to look human may have derived from the fact that Medusa was raped by Poseidon. Zeus was a player, always going for the lovely ladies he lusted for. Athena was pretty pissed off at her, so she cursed her. I'm going out on a limb and speculating Athena let her keep her human form, but changed certain appealing aspects. Hair, eyes, to make her look more like the "serpent" Athena felt she was for luring Poseidon to her temple for sxc tiem.
There are other creatures, like the Basilisk--which also has the ability to literally kill on sight(or petrify if you wanna go all Harry Potter on me), and otherwise retains the usual snake-like, reptilian features. And I am wondering if maybe Chimera falls into the category as well. And if so, Sphinx as well.

Skittles - WELL, I might not be able to show a parody of that...but I can show you a channel that does AMAZING parodies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7n8GqewJ2MRaven - Chimera and Sphinx? How exactly do they connect? If that doesn't sound too ignorant. Lol

Medusa's monstrous self was later changed, because it was during that time that the idea of true beauty had shifted. The image of perfection in women became practically demanded in almost all folklore. So eventually she ascertained a human body.
I mean, even Aphrodite was cursing women too beautiful than she. Because beauty was so important. And for Athena, Goddess of Wisdom to fall under that category, just goes to show you how shallow humanity became in a matter of a few centuries.
I much prefer the original monster Medusa. They are just way cooler than pretty jealous girls damned to an existence of turning men into stone. XD
