I definitely like the look of the beard on the model. Making them look a bit more winter ready seems to be a good idea. Best of luck on making a bunch of bear-wrestling, grizzled vets of winter campaigns.

I finished my first Imperial Guardsman for the new army. Being the first, I wanted to honour him.. With an eye. It'd be cool to give them all eyes, but I'll have to take it on a guard by guard basis.

He looks nicely done, can't wait to see that Ogryn painted up as well. We need some new blood here to show off some stuff!

Thanks for the appreciation. (:
Though I'm not technically a new blood. An old blood that's been away for a year or so.

xD
It's alright, thanks for asking. Though that actually stopped about a year ago too. I had about 2,500pts worth of Germans, including tigers and panthers and some rather nifty 88 flak guns.
They're still all down at the gaming club.
.. That I haven't been to for about a year.
It was practically a whole year out of gaming except for a couple' units of Skaven and some ACW soldiers.
But you know how it is. Once you go Imperial, you never really drop it.

Two Imperial Psyker battle squads, Witch Hunter Inquisitor with retinue, Leman Russ Punisher, Vanquisher, Vanilla, 20 Guardsmen, 10 Veterans with lascannon, and a Callidus assassin.
Brought down a elite orientated Space Marine strike force. I thought it was going to be easy, turned out the Psykers took my leadership down to two on Sicarius, then his Sternguard squad was ripped apart the Callidus's LD flamer. His Psykers took down the LD of my termies, who ran and were taken apart by the assassin who assaulted them as they fell back. Totally annihilated.
