"Thinking's for chess," Tails said. "In a fight, you gotta keep your distance and know how to no matter what the enemy does. When you get close, it's because you're closing in. That's why we practice."
He crossed his arms, but grinned. "It just so happens that we can be a little rougher when the ground is nice and soft and oozy."

"Nothing I can think of..." he answered Freya. Shifting his attention to the tv, he saw a storm was going to pass by Mt.Silver. It reminded his to let Azalea to get plenty of sunlight before then. Dan placed a hand on his belt to touch the pokeball containing the plant when he noticed something. "Uh oh...No, I probably left the pokeball in my room" he muttered to himself. Yeah that's what happened...for his sake at least... "Oh! Check and see what's on the Pokemon Battle channel. It's one of my favorites. You'd think Magikarp vs Magikarp would be boring and you'd be right. But not on that channel" he grinned.
Shark, literally, guzzled three bowls of soup in minutes. He had Rain and Nova beat, no contest. The dragon set the bowl down caught sight of a group of pokemon under the table. Not even giving them a second glance, the dragon turned at left the kitchen. (Huh...Where do you think he's going?) the otter asked Diva. She closed her eyes, appearing to be deep in thought. (Well, knowing him, he's probably going to find an opponent to fight, most likely outside.) Rain tapped his chin before letting out a sigh. (Ok...I'ma go calm him down. Be right back!) he grinned and chased after the large dragon. Electra stepped out from under the table to see what would happen. Chances were she'd get to see the otter get beat up.

Tristen leaned over and put his arms around legs, resting his head on his knees. Is that what he was taught? He didn't think so. That said, it would probably be safe to assume that Tails did take a few things out of other people's proverbial play book. Miles, Freth, and so on, and incorporated it into his own bag of tricks. It is why he practice... "You think we need to go to a marsh?" He asked.

"Well, that's only if you want to," Tails said. "I won't feel so bad if I knock you down a lot then. And it'll be good training in those clothes. You might want to bring an old set of normal clothes to wear first though. You'll get really tired, and fast in the heavy clothes. Blizz might know someplace that's good enough."

Know marshes?" He asked, skeptically, for probably good reason.

Tails nodded, very knowingly. "Before I learned how this world works, I had to get to them somehow. And I met Blizz in the dead of winter. I think the lagoon near Mahogany will work. I think there's one near Mount Ember on One Island, too. And the vents keep the area warm."

But then he thought on something else. "Where's...One Island?" He asked. Never heard of that, before.

"It's an island somewhere off Kanto. I've only been there a few times, and that was when we were on mission," Tails explained. "I've never not teleported there. So Blizz has to know where that is."

Tails stood as well. "I'd love it. It's been awhile," he said. He started for the door, hands folded behind his head. "I'll be good. Promise."

Tails was silent as he walked. Lava was one thing -- it surged through every bit of him. Its heat, its pull, its weight. One could perhaps live their whole life in a lava flow and not know it passed.
Mud was just fun, messy mud. And there was nothing wrong with that.
He peered into the kitchen, and wondered if Blizz was finished with his own mess. And he wondered if he could dance on the same nerve that caused him a rush when Tristen came to him. "Hey, um. Blizz?"

Blizz?" I was finished cleaning actually. Just finally sat back down, as the apparent new paper that was on the table, fresh Coke close by, and me just now starting to get comfortable. Though the kitchen was out a couple of towels, to be sure. I looked up and stared in confusion. "Yes? What is it?" I asked Tails, as Tristen started to come up behind Tails, looking on over his shoulder.

"Would we get in trouble if we, um. Broke the training room?" Tails asked.
And was very good at sounding guilty.
