Totoko was born to the Kurena clan and given her name due to her mother's belief that a rabbit had saved her life one day while she was on a mission. The Kurena clan itself is a small but somewhat locally renowned clan in the land of Sound. What most people know of them is that they often produce ninja skilled in the art of genjutsu, and that those of crimson eyes are more common within the clan than one would think. However those eyes are not merely a mutation as outsiders might think. No in reality they are a kekkei genkai which rivals even the legendary Sharingan when it comes to their capacity for genjutsu. However many with such eyes refuse the shinobi life due to the strain it puts on their mind. Sadly, Totoko was born with those cursed eyes and the state of the world put her on a crash course with tragedy.
Growing up her parents tried to contain her within the confines of the clan shrine, teaching her the ways of being a shrine maiden. She spent many days minding the shrine and having no one to talk to save for occasional animal. Rabbits were common and she found them to be rather cute. However one night while she was a child, Totoko dreamed of being a rabbit herself. However while within the dream world her kekkei genkai acted up and turned a small part of her dream into a reality. When she awoke her head was adorned with a pair of whimsical bunny ears. Being no illusion she soon found they were made of flesh and blood as if her own ears. Needless to say her parents were quite concerned. They tried to ignore the incident and provide a normal life for her. However word of her spread, after all not many could forget a girl with rabbit ears. When the UHV's wars heated up she was drafted for the shinobi forces. Through her training at the academy Totoko has come to believe in the messages of the UHV and now is a bright eyed propaganda filled graduate and fresh genin.

Personality: Kairi is an outgoing, goofy and all-around friendly person. He treats people equally and has no problems expressing himself to strangers and bonds with them easily, showing a lot of confidence. When faced with entirely new social situations, Kairi's confidence leads to bold behavior. Though this can become out of hand and backfire when pursuing romance. Specifically when Kairi tries too hard, it can cause a misunderstanding. At heart, he is a kind, amiable person and means well.
Kairi maintains his unselfish manner regardless of the situation, going as far as to defend those who plot against him as long as they do not go as far as committing treason. A strong sense of integrity makes him willing to deliberately put himself in awkward situations if it means keeping his word. During conversations, Kairi never contradicts himself, and while sometimes harsh, he is always honest with answers.
Kairi has shown to care for his friends and the people around him, being protective of them and having a sense of responsibility as a center for his guards squad. ____Berserker: → Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have moderately increased Strength and Fortitude. Your hardened body allows you to mitigate the pain/status effect of an incoming attack for two post per body rank, allowing you to continue the fight until the pain or hazards settle in. This means that a stunning effect can be delayed by up to ten posts at S rank. However, you ignore pain anytime you use this discipline for any reason, meaning if you delay having your arm disabled by a skill, you can also ignore the pain from having been stabbed on that post as well. Ex.: A ninja uses a lightning technique designed to stun you. For one post, you can delay that effect from taking hold, and have nine posts to continue delaying effects. Kairi had a pretty average life growing up, while he wanted for nothing he did not get whatever he wanted handed to him. Growing up, his parents were not harsh or uncaring and did their best to instill him with the proper principles and morals that a young man should have. Due to this he has grown to be fairly grounded, having a solid sense of right and wrong while doing his best to never shame himself or his family. With his father serving in the royal guard and himself joining the imperial guard once his training was completed, his family was setup quite well both politically and financially. Though luck, or perhaps fate, has sent him to the village of konohagakure to serve as a guard for both the village and the new Hokage.

Seiko is the orphan of a war-torn lands. Her mother and father were mysteriously murdered by members of small mafia family just after she was born. Being born and raised in the city of Sasagi, she never thought that she would see any of the outside world. This reason is that she has always been very poor and unable to make a living. With no parents, Seiko was raised by the streets. In her younger years she did what any starving child would do, taking jobs from the mafia that she hated so much. They started as simple errands for no money but it was better than going without food. As Seiko got old, she started to hear many secrets of the mafia, even getting close to one of the older leaders, but one day the leader disappeared without a trace and left the girl in the middle of a power struggle. She couldn't handle the new leaders because they were so arrogant and violent, so she plotted her escape from their castle. Now she was back on the streets and starving once again. Until one day she walked into a bar to spend the last of her money on a meal for her and a few other homeless, when suddenly she overheard a bartender talking about a revolution. She was so small that the men didn't realize that she was within hearing distance. That was when Seiko realized that she needed to stop being so weak and join in on the revolution. After speaking to the bartender for some time, he would tell her that he had no room for someone with no talents. After the girl almost admitted defeat, she looked up at him and said that she would gain the power and return one day. When she was leaving the bar, he stopped her and said that he may know of a group that could use her fierce willpower, if she was willing to dedicate to it. After that day she waited and waited for one of the members of the group to arrive at the bar.

Personality: He is deeply introspective most of the time, carefully and often meticulous in how he administers the world under his gauge. He comes off as extremely soft and caring, as he was at one point not simply acting. It was ingrained in him that in his profession it helped to be sincerely compassionate, and you could say that some habits die hard. He wears a smile in addition to the general face of an individual lost in a deep ponder. He even has an innocent sort of vaneer over his features, and superficial understanding of him and his character often lends itself to people seeing this as genuine.

Born in the Land of Snow, a boy named Toshio was born to parents who worked tirelessly in the hospitals as surgeons. To say he got a headstart as a medical shinobi would not be a stretch. Steady hands and a soft demeanor fostered by similar parents brought him to an early medical education. He wanted to study as a combat medic, be a shinobi and change lives, but his parents ironed the idea out of his mind, as they didn't want him getting caught up in the drama involved in being a ninja. Little did they know, his life would contain more drama than even that fear could.
Somewhere along the way into his teens, he met another girl, one Ayuna Ito, who became fast friends with him. Naturally, young love blossomed and bonds were created. Very soon after their first anniversary, a cold set in over Ayuna that caused the two to have to move as UHV occupation made medical attention sparse. It was in the Land of Grass they learned she had a particularly nonaggressive, but far progressed cancer. Promises were made that she could be cured, but time proved this was a lie. Another year of life was a miracle, and only made her the sole reason for his living. She was everything good in his life. And then, suddenly, she took a turn for the worst as her treatments stopped being affective. The wonders of the shinobi world couldn't save her. Modern medicine, naturally, failed as well. He lost her on his 20th birthday, and so all the good in his heart went with it.
If he couldn't have happiness, he wouldn't let anyone else either.

Hikari Hanabi, born Yoshiko, comes from a small family of samurai. Traditionally the boys of her clan would become samurai while the women became wives. Life had something different in store for Yoshiko however. Born with extra mouths about her hands she was marked as the inheritor of a kekkei genkai. This ruined her appeal to those the clan dealt with but would perhaps be something appealing to outsiders or foreigners. So it was that Yoshiko's life was spared. However as she grew older the place in life assigned to her by the clan was one she came to reject. She desired nothing more than to be a samurai like her brothers. Of course a girl, let alone one such as her, was not permitted to learn such things. Eventually this life became unacceptable to Yoshiko and so she stole a katana and fled from home. It was then that she took on the name Hikari Hanabi and cast off all doubts from her past life. From then forward she would do as she desired.
