[Axel: Black Pearl: Below >Deck]
As the storm died down and the battle rage died down above Axel had found a safe place he could place James till whenever the guy decided to wake up. But there was something about the stillness in the guy that made the nobody think otherwise about him opening those peepers of his anytime soon.
Finding a hammock that swayed about mid height, Axel placed the earthling gunner down and tucked him in so he wouldn't be falling out any time soon, unless the entire ship capsizes but then he really couldn't do much beyond that. He couldn’t carry the guy with him all the time, despite Leon’s designation of their mission he was no babysitter. Still, I can always check back just in case.
When he came top side Riku was making his leave and Axel waited till the bulk of people strolled in before following along behind them.
When finally appeared sometime after Dawn he stood there, his mouth appropriately agape at the sight of all the destruction, battle… and senseless gore. You didn’t need a heart to know to show some sign of reaction. He’s was simple.
“……wow….overkill much?” It was time to face it, these were NOT the battles of Sora and Riku's day and speaking of which "- RIKU, boy, your language is just deplorable, tsk tsk, these kids were being a bad influence. whats next? Sora droping the F-bomb and start making your-mom jokes."
Noelle looked a little winded there so he stood a few steps at her side just in case flanking opposite side from the silver keyblader. As Dawn began to sway, Axel summoned his chakram and got ready to join the dance.

[Joe: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
Joe was vaguely aware that allies were showing up. How? Well, his wind was suddenly stronger. And he had felt faith before. So that was a plus. Of course, when his wings started to pulsate power, he was a little bit panicked. What were they doing?! Oh...well, that wasn't going to be pretty. Especially with that windy boss that was full of hot air.
Uh, guys? Yeah, I can't exactly control what's about to happen so uh...I suggest holding on to something. And maybe blocking off big guy there.
And then the wings flashed and were gone, wind erupting from where they were and forming a giant, field engulfing tornado(MA=8 ). Allies of Joe would feel a heavy breeze, while enemies would feel more than that..
The tornado picked up a lot of debris from the field, but also picked up a lot of the water from around Atlantis. Soon, it became a whirlpool in mid-air, and Joe slashed it apart with his staff, causing the tornado of air and water to split and erupt outward.
A rain started to fall, dissipating the rest of the miasma, and Joe was falling with it, head pointed at the ground, before using his air control to flip around and leap off an air platform. He repeatedly kicked off of air platforms to get back to the battlefield as quickly as possible. After all, he had targets to go after.

[Matt :-: Atlantis :-: Outside Throne Room]
Matt clutched the back of his head as he felt a stinging sensation. He whipped around to see what had shouted, only to see nothing there. He grumbled to himself, then turned to the agromancer. "I'm not doing too bad, but I won't decline something to fill me back up," he replied. He extended his hand towards her in order to accept it.
When he heard Joe's warning, he simply braced himself since there wasn't an immediately nearby object to hold on to. When the tornado formed his baggy clothes whipped about in the gale, though he was able to keep his balance just fine. When he finally made it erupt into a rain fall, he pulled his hood up to keep some of it off. Besides, enough people had been getting touchy with the uncovered parts of his head already. A pit formed in his stomach when he saw his friend enter a free fall, but it quickly went away when Joe regained himself. Matt would remember to yell at Joe for making him worry later.

{Tseng : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room}
The leader of the Turks chose to remain silent as he continued to observe the battle below. He tried to tune out most of what Daniel said as more often than not it seemed like the young man was talking to himself. However, he knew that it was actually more than likely him talking with his own summon, just out loud. Tseng would simply nod his head in agreement to the young man's statements that were obviously actually directed at him. His focus still on the battlefield below and the steadily increasing level of danger to them.
As Daniel mentioned the Demi-god appearing on the battlefield his binoculars immediately began to scan the field for any signs of it. However, in the black fog that had covered the field it had been too hard to really see much at all. However, a massive tornado turned whirlpool dispersed the miasma in it's aftermath. The wind from the attack strong enough that Tseng easily felt the powerful wind from their vantage point.
"As useful as the information we can gather may be, it isn't worth getting ourselves killed. I have a feeling we will encounter this group again. We should withdraw," Tseng replied, lowering his binoculars and closing them. He had seen more than enough of this chaos to know that they would have to be better prepared for should they run into these opposing groups again.

[Kichi and Kyle :: Atlantis :: Almost to Throne room]
'You're almost there, slow down a bit so you can catch your breath before battle. Plus, I can sense Kyle and Dani behind us, not by much. It would give you guys a good chance to group up and arrive together,' Bahamut notified Kichi.
'Alright, good point,' came Kichi's reply. He then reached out to Kyle and Dani through the charms. "Hey, I can feel you two close behind, I'm gonna slow down for this last stretch so you can catch up, sound good?" As per his word, he slowed down, making his pace a little below theirs.
"Okay. That sounds good. Let's get a plan worked out. I’ll see if I can get a feel for what’s going on up there. One second."
Before he’d finished his sentence, he started using Tracing the Steps, but stopped it almost at once. Damn…a bit too much interference for that to work. I’m just not precise enough with it yet. Not knowing everyone’s touch against the earth doesn’t help too much either….
We really need to work on this. We’re spending some time in that time compression chamber when we get back.
Yeah yeah.... By this time he'd caught up to him, and looked ahead, wondering just what the hell was going on. He felt stronger, presumably Dawn dancing, and there was a whole lot of stuff going on he couldn't guess at. "What the hell is going on up there?" With a sigh, he turned his head away. "So we've got a flower, an angel, and a windbag boss who'll attempt to murder us. Whatcha thinking?"
"Yeah, looks crazy up there...If you can take us underground, we can get out of the effect of the wind...Maybe even make a surprise attack. Sound like a plan?"
"Sounds good. Let's do it."
"Good, once Dani catches up, let's kick it!"

{Bobbi .:. Atlantica .:. Outside Throne Room} Bobbi's attention was caught and held by the Obsidian Lily, but that didn't stop her from nodding as Noelle assessed the situation. When Nick burst out of the Venus Flytrap, Bobbi immediately shot him, not that it seemed to do any good. She was pretty sure he didn't even notice. When Noelle asked for cover, Bobbi threw up a Mirror Wall and shot anything that got within range. She spared a glance behind for just long enough to see that Noelle was opening a Corridor. Somehow, she wasn't surprised. Once the others started to arrive, Bobbi pulled down the Mirror Wall. She snorted when Dawn mentioned parties. "First, you will be baked, and then there will be cake," the Archer said in her best GlaDOS impression (which was good enough that she scared the s**t out of her brother once). She couldn't help grinning her damn fool head of when she heard the language Riku was using. D'aww, I'm so proud, the little Disney baby is growing up and using language~"Dawn, you know damn good and well I'll shoot anyone in the most painful body part I can think of," Bobbi retorted, hearing the others strategize. "Usually somewhere around the crotch."She threw another Mirror Wall up on the other side of Dawn, but kept the rest of her mana carefully hoarded. She'd used up far too much already, and didn't want to run out before everything was over and done with. Besides, she'd learned her lesson after passing out the first two days here and having Shiva take over. It was not an experience she wanted to repeat; though she trusted Shiva unconditionally, Bobbi hated giving up control in any way. ☆♥☆♥☆ {Demyx .:. Black Pearl .:. Crow's Nest}
Demyx heard the kids talking below, but didn't pay them much attention. After everything that had happened, he was not about to go down there and find out what was going on. No, he was going to stay right here, where he was out of sight (and, supposedly, out of mind), and not go risk his neck for a bunch of suicidal children. He did peek, though, and noticed Axel went through the portal Riku had open. Somehow, Demyx wasn't surprised.
"Yeah, you go on ahead, buddy," the Melodious Nocturne said, though he knew Axel couldn't hear. He leaned back against the side of the crow's nest, pulled out Arpeggio, and began playing a simple melody he half-remembered. "I'll just stay back here and hold down the fort. Yup."

[Nick :: Atlantis :: Guarding the Door][Music: ~.:God of Wind:.~] Nick weaved quickly to the side, dodging the sudden arrow that Bobbi had fired at him. He pointed his palms at the archer, preparing to unleash a blast of wind when the tornado hit the field. He quietly lowered his arms, gawking at the tornado and could only sit still with his mouth opened as if he was a turkey in the rain. When the winds subsided and the show finished, Nick refocused on the group and gave a devious grin, specifically at the girl dancing.
"So, you think your puny arrows and giant swirling vortexes of destruction will be enough to harm me? Your dances to motivate your allies? You naive 'heroes', thinking that you are doing the right thing? Well, do me a favor..." He sneered, inhaling a large gulp of air.
He opened his mouth, releasing a large blast of wind towards the entire group, including the three running to catch up to the main group.
"Die." [OOC Note: Roar of the King is wind based, and also has a chance to stun. My magic is 18, Stun has no penalties, so if you're weak to Wind, it's actually 36, if you resist, it's actually 9. Have fun! Mod edit: Also, because it's wind-based with high magic strength, it will penetrate the earth.]

[Joe; Atlantis: Assulting The One Guarding The Door]
Joe had been moving towards his nearest target, Chaos, and sped up when he saw the big guy take in a deep breath. Whenever the boss takes a deep, that's never a good sign. And Joe kind of...dove in without thinking.
There he was, landing right in front of the guy's face as he yelled. Wind blasted over him, but it didn't really...do anything, nor go past him to affect the others. And while Joe might have flinched a bit, he quickly came out of it, his right leg lifting up in a flash kick to the Boss's face while his leg was enshrouded in light thanks to his new link to Kyle. If anyone listened, they might have heard him yell out something. Something like "You need a Tic-tac!"

{Dani : Atlantis : Almost to Throne Room}
"I'm here!" Dani shouted to Kichi and Kyle as soon as she caught up to them. "Man you guys run fast."
'You need to work out a little bit.' Leviathan laughed at the summoner.
'Oh shut it Leviathan!' Dani yelled as the serpent kept laughing in the back of her head. 'I am perfectly fine right now thanks!"
"So, shall we go lend our assist-" Dani spoke before noticing a giant yelling "DIE". "Well this isn't good." Dani commented bring out her chakrams ready for a fight.
Before she could block she noticed that Joe had already taken care of the situation and had kicked the boss in the face. "Well I guess that is the signal to get moving!" Dani yelled to Kichi and Kyle before running a little faster in order to get to the throne room.

[Dawn : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room]
Dawn grinned at Bobbi's comment, "Good to know my life is in good hands." she said to her friend as she danced as Joe's wind blew in her hair. It was soon followed by Nick's wind attack, that did nothing to her. "Man, does that guy got a loud mouth." she thought out loud as she continued dancing while looking over her shoulder. She watched as Joe shut Nick's mouth with his foot.

{Kyle, Kichi, Dani : Atlantis : Outside the Throne Room}
As soon as Dani caught up, he spoke mentally to her, letting her know the plan. 'Dani, I'm gonna take you guys into the earth, and put us right next to the rest of the group. Let's go.'He said to the both of them, before he grabbed both of them and pushed into the wall.
Disappearing into the rock, he propelled them towards the group, trying to think of what he could use to attack the floating enemy. Tough call. Bringing them up, he planted them behind the Mirror Wall, then waved to Dawn. "Did you miss us?" He asked, looking over at Floaty.
Lowering himself further into the earth, he started to launch rock spikes, then dived deeper, aiming to get behind him for a surprise assault.

[Daniel: Atlantis : Guard Outpost Roof]
The lost city of Atlantis was getting more action today than it had in the last century.. or two. Daniel quietly mused on where the rest of the Atlantians were, and whether they were watching from a safe distance like this was some bizarre gladiator arena; king of the hill style. The mountain in the center of the city shuddered with every attack, making the Turk cringe for his inner historian.
In a different circumstance I would have loved to explore this place with Milo. I’m not sure there is going to be much left after this battle.
We wouldn’t have come here if not for the Heart, Danny-boy.
All we wanted was to see if the Heart was a viable source of power, Daniel gestured to the scene ahead, Not slaughter innocent people and get into this ridiculous brawl…
Despite his words he didn’t believe it deep down, it showed on his face. If they really wanted to peacefully acquire such power then why had they arrived toting guns and machinery of war? The thought of Atlantians working together with the Turks to harness the Heart did not seem likely before they even arrived, but the recent turn of events reduced those chances to nil.
However, one fact weighed on Daniel’s mind more than the rest, one in which he had completely forgotten; The Heart of Atlantis directly influences the health of the citizens. If he had remembered this detail of the movie Daniel would have called off the journey before it even started, and most of this—specifically the feeling of responsibility – would have been avoided. To think that he was about to forcefully remove their lifeline for the sake of power caused the Turk considerable grief, to the point where he entirely missed Tseng’s order to withdraw.
Zodiark seemed all too aware of his confliction, humming with bizarre triumph
What difference does it make? There is only so much Energy in the physical world for you to draw from. You can maximize potential all day long, but to actually gain what you don’t already have is to take from someone else.
If Daniel could shoot daggers at his summon, he was, but said nothing. He couldn’t argue with Zodiark’s logic but he could sure as hell dislike it.
The Scion continued, Look at Ajora! He takes what he pleases. That man is unstoppable at the cost of everyone around him.
Daniel looked at the battlefield. Somewhere up there Ajora was in positively no danger at all, and he knew it. The replica was embedded with potent chunks of stolen energy, holding the scepter of King Triton himself. The Turk began trying to comprehend the scope of such a drastic change to that world now-- that the king’s powers no longer belonged to him. But as the thoughts trickled down something else burned deep within, the blow to Daniel’s pride finally surfaced. He hated to admit that the replica demolished what sense of power he had as a Turk. Ajora easily overpowered him and his crew in the blink of an eye like they were ragdolls; and it was all due to the replicas willingness to conquer. he didn’t have long before being interrupted again by his summon.
You are going to have to make a choice, bro. This notion that these weak and helpless are your problem, that they are somehow deserving of this Heart and that you shouldn’t take it from them—you need to get over it. Have you forgotten that the same was done to you?! The Earth was destroyed. It wasn’t just for shits and giggles, Ajora made that painfully clear. Whoever made that call is now reaping the benefits of all the wasted effort of your people—
Hey HEY, who do you think you are?!
Zodiark slithered away from Daniel and escaped to the recesses of the Turk’s trembling mind. Daniel could barely feel Zodiark’s presence, but he spoke anyway, knowing that the scion would hear him
Zodiark, what good would that do? We would have power sure but at the cost of our own character! There is nothing gained then, we’d win the battle but lose the war—
The summon sighed from a distance, What war? Are you saying your ‘character’ lives on after you die? That your spirit will be happy when it’s all over because you were a ‘good’ person? Daniel I’ve been to the end. There’s nothing there, no reward ceremony for doing your best- I tried that.
The truth is that we live to win the war of living. Even us Scions. You can spend an eternity being good and nothing would come of it. Ajora up there, hes doing it right. Nothing is more rewarding than cunning. It’s no accident that Ultima found him..
Daniel mentally rebelled for a time without coherent thought. Tseng would see him staring intently at the battle ahead and it would seem he is distracted by it rather than his own internal strife. The Turk eventually noticed Tseng’s intent to leave and broke his stance to follow.

[[???/Strange Woman : ??? : ???]] {{Cue: Dispossession ~ Piano ver}} "You needn't be afraid," the woman spoke, eyes not shifting from the fire, but obviously addressing the tiny summon, "I'm not here to harm you."The woman's gaze shifted along with her body, turning completely to face the small creature and girl lying on the bed, "If he brought you here, then he means you no harm. I can only assume by your friend's condition he holds some connection to this girl and brought you here for protection."She was thin, pale, with a light shade of blue in her skin. A white dress flowed elegantly around her, so light and fine it seemed to almost float around her limbs like mist in the still air. Her eyes were glossed over, pure white like cataracts but frayed to resemble frost and snowflakes. They were hauntingly empty, but the warmth of her voice gave them life, "I'm surprised... he took such a great risk for one girl. What purpose was there to save-"Her question was cut off as another voice entered the conversation. The figure of darkness, rather than entering the room, or appearing, was suddenly and simply, there. He stood in the corner of the room opposite the fireplace, parts of him vanishing form sight entirely as shadows flickered over and blended with his form from light cast off the flames, "You do love to ask questions, goddess," he spoke with a contradictory mix of reverence and reprimand, "Let the summon do its work."The figure addressed Tyue next, his glowing yellow eyes about the only thing discernible midst the black flames cloaking him, "Take your time. The others are fine and the battle seems to be going well. For now, what matters most is she recovers fully. She can not leave this place of her own accord, no magic can penetrate these walls but my own. You are safe, no harm will come to you or her. When she's had time, I'll open a corridor to the others. Until then, let her rest."

[ Noelle ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Noelle put the Ether in Matt's hand, but quickly clung to his arm as the gales from Joe's tornado passed over them. If she hadn't she might have flown--the Santa Ana winds back home were enough to buffet her small form around, there was no way she could stand up to these ones. Once it was over, and she'd been doused ("Thanks, Joe . . .") she backed away to let Matt and the others start doing their own thing. Despite her strain and fatigue, she had to keep pushing to assist her comrades.
Joe's retort caught her off guard, however.
"Doesn't seem that witty banter is Joe's strong suit . . . we'll have to work on that." She sighed, nodding to the others as they joined the group.

[Nick :: Atlantis :: Outside Throne Room]
Nick pouted, his combat initiation ruined thanks to this one-eyed fool with the apparent need to meet his maker. However, the Avatar of Chaos mused, he was physically incapable of causing him harm. His disappointment was interrupted, however, by the fighter's foot aiming to meet his face. He half-stepped back, the bottom of Joe's shoe mere inches from impacting his mask into his skull. He dashed backwards, moving closer to the throne room door and as far as he could from the fighter.
Think, dammit, think! How do I beat this guy? How do I destroy this dumbass with a hero complex!? He mentally screamed, as an idea suddenly clicked into place. He grinned madly, cracking his knuckles and focusing down the main group. If I can't get him with wind magic, I could always get him with my...other magic. Go for the gold, Nicholas~
"Oi! One-eye! If you fight like you banter, your friends' souls will be a most excellent treat!" He called, forming his hands into a claw shape. Dark tendrils began running from his forearms down to his fingertips. He sneered, beginning to move towards the group as a whole, small steps at first before gaining speed.
Come on, you pirate-y motherf*cker. Be the BIG DAMNED HERO I know you think you are so I can end you...
