I think it's interesting to think about how diff characters would act in the same situtation.. like Dev in London's office. Eleanore'd be like 'Ooooh, so the Headmaster really is keeping D3ers 'safe' inside Hogwarts walls?' *Scribbles this down for an article*

And Justus would be cooler about it and try to get more info from London.

Godfrey would be more mature and know that she probably doesn't like the situation any more than he does, but he'd sympathize with Snape because of Voldemort- at least Snape's keeping an eye on them, and people are trying to help kids in this school, which Dumbles didn't do for Tommy. razz

@Cassy: Godfrey would hit the nail right on the head. That's the key issue in the equation -- kids like Tom Riddle and Harry Potter didn't get the support they deserved as kids, and suffered for it. There's more focus on providing everything students need to become successful and a benefit to their small society, and that includes understanding and patience. Unfortunately it also means students tend to get away with more. Though Harry attacked Draco in the bathroom and though frankly he ought to have been thrown out, he wasn't; Hogwarts has history in leniency I guess.

There's no perfect balance in dealing with such situations, but the hope is that by always being there for the D3ers, they'll be drawn back to the right path.

Course, Theo's been covering for Vambre, Corvus, and Damaeseon all year, too. XD

..Yeah, Theo's very much involved with his Slytherins... He just wishes they weren't so ******** difficult all the time. Constantly trying to reach out to someone, then having to cover for them and make excuses, only to have it done again and there you are looking like an a**...

He's definitely not going to stop being an alcoholic any time soon, that's for sure. Course he has been since his sixth year in Hogwarts after his father passed away three weeks after being put into Azkaban for the Department of Mysteries crap.

He was with Minerva back at that point and up until about....maybe the time Harry and Ron and all them started to have kids. They broke up because Theo just wouldn't put the bottle down and stop brooding. :/
