That's one thing I never got.
Bugs Bunny cross-dresses and makes out with Elmer and Sam constantly. Back when that was the normal toon and all, people were still against haveing anything gay-themed in shows, especially cartoons. I dunno how that managed to go under the radar. I mean, of all things having anything to imply sexuality, it's like that was never an issue to anyone when everything else was, etc. Kinda weird.

Now that you mention it, it is funny how that managed to fly in that era. Yet, a stick of dynamite blows up in someone's face and the resulting soot makes their face black, folks are all "ZOMG d00d!!1! Dat'z racist!!1! lol!!1!"

I've seen a clip where Daffy Duck smacks Hitler with a hammer, and a Popeye cartoon clip where he punches out Nazi soldiers.

Corporate stuff sucks now. They try to demolish competition by being really cheap, but they compensate for that by cutting back on quality too.
Griffin's... Best hotdogs EVER. I miss that place. A friend of mine told me once that his mom, when she was younger, used to work at KFC, and on her way home, would stop by Griffin's and trade the guy chicken for a hotdog.
