@Angelo: If you press ~ it opens the console. You can type annex and the country tag (usually the first 3 letters of the country's name) to annex that country. It might not add cores though. confused

@Sup3r: Well he's playing the third one like he says. I'm using EUIV.

The easiest way might be to use the console to annex all the nations and then edit the save game to add all the cores. I imagine it'll be easier to find all the provinces if you own them. Then again, it might just be as easy to find all the European provinces on their own and change the owner. Who knows.

The trick that I used was this:
1. Sort the provinces by culture.
2. Add the hre=yes tag below the manpower.
3. Before enacting the decision to vassalize the members, set the relations between the country being played (in this case, Austria) and all the member countries to 200 and give them a trust level of 9. Sort the countries by culture to make it less confusing. Make sure that once the game had been reloaded from the edited savegame, no one would go to war against you.
4. Once the last decision is enacted, all the members will be under the Empire!
5. Add cores. Adding buildings is optional.

Angelo: Doesn't the decision to annex the HRE states automatically add cores? Or was it just nations with a bordering province?

Angelo: Well hopefully your method works. I just remember designing a mod to randomly move provinces around using spy missions. I think I mentioned this before.

A few games. I had a hard time as the Teutonic Knights. I did turn Bohemia from Czech to Saxon by transferring the capital to a Saxon province and then enacting the accept cultural shift decision, but it was just too hard in my Bohemia game because of the stability hits. As for modded games, I haven't completed any yet.

I had to modify the Byzantines a lot so that it can do the "reestablish the theme system" decision.
I'm trying my hand at changing province ownership for unowned provinces. I'm testing to see if I can "colonize" an unowned province without changing the culture. 3nodding
